VERY disappointed!! Others in the series have been great but THIS....ugghhh!! I couldn't wait to finish it. And THAT'S how I know it was not a good game!! When I long for the game to be over, I know it's a lousy game.
Story in this one is pathetic and the so-called evil...oh man come on....a child wouldn't be scared of it!!! The HOS might have been colourful but a junk pile is a junk pile. And talking about colourful.....EVERYTHING was colourful!!! Just way over the top. And like another reviewer mentioned, the voice over for the girl you play....'whiney' doesn't begin to describe it.
Ah dear...there's just too much in this game that disqualifies it as a CE. I can't be bothered. All I'll say is play the demo first before you buy!! Believe me, I wish I had!! Waste of the cost of a CE.
I recommend it ONLY because everyone has different tastes and you just might disagree with me; stranger things have happened. :o) BUT like I said....play the demo first!!

Won't go too much into the game 'mechanics'; other reviewers have done so. I just wanted to say that I loved the game, as I always do with this series....BUT it was too short and the bonus game was really lame and very short!! Being this short (both the main game and the bonus game), I don't believe this should be sold as a CE but as a SE instead. Having said that....I definitely recommend the game. It's another beaut one in the series.

I won't go into reviewing the whole game...others have done a good job of that. I just want to say that this game had me wishing it would never end....and THAT'S how I can tell when I thoroughly enjoy a game!!
And just so you know....I rarely give a full five stars!!!
This game, to me, was of CE quality but with a SE price. I do hope we'll see a sequel....and soon!! Well done Orchid Games!!! Keep them coming!!

If you love way over the top HOS you will love this game!! In fact it is nothing but HO!!
I don't recommend this game.
Without warning, a group of mysterious figures arrives and reduces your village to flames and rubble. What do they want... and who is controlling them?

This game is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!! Won't go into all the different things about it, others have done most of it.
Only one thing I can say against it....the Bonus Game was REALLY short. Very disappointed in that....only!! When you pay for a CE game you do expect the Bonus Game to be longer than 10 minutes or so. The actual Bonus Game story would've been great but only if they had given it more 'meat' per se.
But, like I said, that's my only gripe!!
I recommend this game!

Man, did I waste my money on this one!! I'm about an hour into the game and am so fed up with having to keep going to the strategy guide that I've given up!! I don't mind challenge but this is ridiculous. I totally agree with the other low rating reviewers about this game.
Come on devs....we pay a CE price, we expect SOME hints at least. Give me back my wasted money, so I can buy a game where I don't end up hairless by pulling it all out in frustration!!
I don't recommend this game for the CE price!! Wait for the SE and get THAT with a coupon code.

This would've been a pretty good game IF there wasn't soooooooo much back and forth!!! That's all you did; pick up something from one place, then go waaaaay back to use it, then pick up something from there and then off again waaaaay forward. I FORCED myself to finish this game because of the CE price but I just couldn't do the bonus game....I started it but...big sigh....I'd just had enough!! Baaack and forth....baaack and forth!!!
So, if you love goin' back an' forth ALL THE BLINKIN' TIME.....then this game is for you. But it ain't for me!!!

I very rarely give 5 stars for anything, but this game, well, I just so thoroughly enjoyed it. It was different from the norm, fun, not too many HOS....and well, overall just an enjoyable game. I can always tell when a game is a great one to me; I hate it to finish, but when it does I sit back with a sigh and think "Now that....I really enjoyed".
Hope the devs put out another one like this!! Didja hear that devs....hint, hint.

Absolutely loved this game. I've been getting sick of the types of games that keep coming out...all having the same 'theme'. Now this one is wonderfully different!! I didn't want this game to end!!
