All I can say is, if you really like your HOS you'll like this. I would have enjoyed this game a lot more if it didn't have sooooooooooo many of them....or at least some different varieties, not just the same over...and over again.
So, those who don't mind an overabundance of HOS should enjoy this game. But for others, don't bother....you'll end up with no hair left!! :o)
I recommend this game!

Journey: The Heart of Gaia
After being kidnapped, Liz must free the Underworld from the tyranny of Scartaris Umbra.
Absolutely loved this game!!! Yes, it's an 'old type' and I did wonder if I would like it when I first started playing it, but because of the reviews I gave it a shot. I gotta tell ya, I'm sooooo glad I did. I gave it a chance and it wasn't long before I was truly enjoying myself. Give it a go...I really don't believe you'll be disappointed.
It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?
This game is not a great game but would have been a good game if not for the absolute frustration I had with the hint and skip buttons!!! They took sooooooooooooooo long to fill, that many times I just wanted to uninstall this game before even finishing it.....and I rarely, if ever, do that.
Listen up devs; give us hint/skip buttons that fill up quickly please. Thanks to this games hint & skip buttons taking such a ridiculously inordinate amount of time to fill, I'm not going to be playing the others of this series, which I would have done if they didn't have frustration written all over them because of their refill time.
Sorry, but I am not going to recommend this game, unless of course you LIKE being frustrated!!
NEVER have I given a 5 star rating but Nearwood CE truly deserves every one of them!!! There are not enough superlatives to describe the wonder and joy of this game and it's bonus chapter. It is a feast for the senses. I just hope I won't have to wait too long for more of this caliber of game from this developer!!! I HIGHLY recommend this game!!!
All I can say is that I'm glad I used one of my 'freebies' to get this game with. Well, actually....I'm NOT glad 'cause now I WASTED a freebie for nothing but a painful experience. I was soooooo looking forward to the end. Yes, I did finish it, only because I kept hoping it would get better but, big sigh, it didn't!! Judge for yourself if ya don't believe me. But please, waste a 'free game', don't pay for it....it's not worth it, really!! :o(
All I can say is, I agree with rbjust4games....and I should have listened to HIS/HER review. I bought the game, then had to force myself to finish it...only because I don't like leaving games half played...but it was reeeeeaally difficult to do so. If you ignore this review (and rbjust4games review) then at least try before you buy. For me...it was a waste of money. So many times I go by what the reviews are for a game and generally they pan out. But the good reviews for THIS game, really fooled me. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
There are a LOT of HOS games I absolutely love but this one I've wasted my money on. Don't get me wrong; if you love looooooooooots of HOS then you will really enjoy this game. In fact that's just about ALL you do here. Yes, they're a different type of HO, some are a challenge and they'd be fun to do IF you didn't have sooooooooooooooo many of them. There was hardly any real story....it was just HOS. Try the demo before you buy. I can guarantee by a few little chapters you'll be fed up with HO. The game is also very short in comparison to most other games. Don't take my word for it.....try the demo.
