I really would have like to buy it, but...sometimes, the voices disappear, some of the fightings are bugged, so you have to pass. So sad ! As often - too hurry to finish it properly...Nonetheless, try it on PC : Nice level of challenge, you'll have to thoroughly search for your next move, HOP are variables (as in the bubble gums one) and unusual, so, nice.
I agree with the four higher evaluations ! New, more, and more challenging, a different kind of game. Sometimes bit boring as you go to and from a few locations. Wholesale satisfying...
Ah! Finally, an unusual game. Stop the incoherent, mechanical and unchallenging search for hidden objects...feel free to think strategically and explore this semi-surreal world by yourself.
I loved the first Painted Tower, and I was hoping this one would be a better version of it, with a faster pace, faster opening of windows. None of that. Still the same game. I prefer the first one, as its flaws were justified by its age. That's why I don't recommend this one.

Yes they are mercenaries; a scoundrel of a mayor couldn't call an official rescue team, isn't it ? Well even them - mostly their leader - are shocked by the mayor misdeeds...Well, there is a lesson for children in there : there are some bad guys on earth ; acknowledge the reality and choose a side. Different, fun, liked it.
No dark screen (graphics card must be powerful enough) and no glitch on level 28, just a trick: open all the roads before releasing the camels, and take care of the scorpions ! It is not very hard: all levels in silver at the first attempt : then it is no so easy to get the golden award...not disappointed ; and that's a compliment, given the number of series that are slowly sinking. It is long enough, with bonus levels, side games, and CE levels. Play well !
I agree with all the positive reviews, I love the continuation of this series, that it keeps the same character, and the same perfection in details as challenges. But this one is far too short in comparison with the previous ones ! Tears !
In French, I would say that this is "du grand n'importe quoi". Translation ? An out of the blue game ? Or a senseless game ? Yes but it is so kitsch that it becomes very funny and triple the challenge : find the next nonsense ! it depends on your sense of humor ^_- Some of the the puzzles are tricky, by the way.
A nice sequel. Storyline as fancy as ever, more or less based on Greek Antiquity. A grumpy dog still helping against...crabs !?! Some levels really hard to finish...
