I normally don't play these type, but decided to try this morning. Your nephew has accidently set off a time machine in a museum and sends you back to ancient Egypt. You must earn the points to get back home.
The game is colorful and the pegs are adorable. The music can get annoying after so long, but is tolerable when I have turned down low.
I had a good time playing this and would definitely recommend.

You are a brand new realtor and your boss has given you your first assignment. You need to clean up and increase the price of the house which has a base cost of 25,000. The more you clean, the more you can sell the house for. Good thing you are not afraid of spiders, cobwebs and lots of bugs.
Having said that, this little game had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, it is very simplistic. You have two levels, easy and hard. You cannot adjust music or sound (it's either on or off#. The map, though, is interactive. Your hint button is a tube of lipstick #which I used more that I have ever before) and it cannot be used when looking for cobwebs and bugs.
The colors are pretty, but some scenes are very blurry. The cobwebs and bugs are so small and hard to see that I wanted to hunt up a magnifying glass. By the time I was done with the demo my eyes were blurry. After finishing the hos you needed to find the cobwebs and bugs in that scene. The inventory list of the hos was difficult as the words didn't go away right away, making me wonder if I had actually found the item or not.
I actually liked the storyline and what needed to be done, but I can't get past the problems with what I needed to find and how most of the time I found some of what I was looking for just by luck.
I only played about 30 minutes of 90 minute demo. The colors were nice, with some dark, but art was blurry. You have four levels of challenge of regular, advanced, hardcore and custom. The extras include bonus adventure, 2 chapters of the strategy guide, concept art, mii games, 14 achievements, collect 30 lilies, morphing objects. The storyline had promise and I did want to find out what would happen, but I just couldn't get past the rest of the issues. The magnifying glass (where to check to see if something needs to be done) seemed out of proportion and it was very difficult to figure out what needed to be done where. I have played this series before and must say this is their worst.
Shadow Wolf Mysteries - Under the Crimson Moon is the best one yet. I have all the others and have enjoyed every one but they just keep getting better. So much to do with this one, 15 achievements, Midnight Hunter collection, great hos with replacement and finding lists, mini games are not overly difficult but fun. Extras include music, wallpapers, concept art, screensaver, hos and mini games. There are three levels to play casual, advanced and hard that can be changed during game. Also, have analyzer for unknown substances and the use of a magnifying glass to find clues on each of the characters, also there is a book that describes the statues that you earn with the achievements.
You have been called to France in 1897 to look in the sudden influx of wolves and werewolves. You have a number of characters who may or may not be werewolves and the wolves are gathering for something, but don't know what yet. It is your job to get to the bottom of the mystery and to stop whatever is supposed to be happening. This is a great game and definitely recommend
The expedition continues... Track down the fragments of King Solomon's crown and foil a madman's plot in this exciting follow-up to the bestselling series!
Two men at King Solomon the Wise's final resting place. Piece of a legendary crown rumored to have broken into pieces and when put back together will gift the person with the powers of the deceased king. Piece is stolen which leads to the H.E.L.P. involvement. Heading to Turkey, imposter is co-pilot and you are dumped outside of Istanbul. When locating information, then sent to Artic Circle. You are required to stop the theft and the crown from being put back together.
Storyline was fast paced and entertaining. Mini games and hos are slotted well into game and do not interrupt the flow. There are four levels that can be played from: Rookie, Field Agent, H.E.L.P. Operative and Custom which can be changed during game. There are 44 hidden symbols, 31 achievements, crowns to locate in each scene, morphing objects in hos, souvenir room, music pictures, making of movie, and 20 fact cards.
There is a lot to do and a lot to keep an eye out for, which makes the game challenging and lots of fun.
I think I made a mistake by playing on the casual level. There was too much hand holding and that frustrated me. Also, could not go back to redo level. But I thoroughly enjoyed the intricacy of the puzzles and the pictures the mosaics created. This game has a lot of potential, but stopped early because I got bored.
So while I thoroughly enjoyed, but getting frustrated made me stop before the demo was over. Still recommend the game
I recommend this game!

Dreampath: The Two Kingdoms Collector's Edition
Your sister, the Queen, has fallen deathly ill. Now you must travel to a faraway kingdom to find the cure.
In the opening cutscene the greedy prince wants the treasure and will obviously do anything to get it, on the word of Aldred, the Regent of Goldthorne who is behind him. As he puts in the amulet he begins to change into a dragon. You have been transported to Goldthorne to find the Golden Dragon to get the Elixir of Life to save your deathly ill sister's life. You save the life of Muir, a cat who becomes your helper during the game and he says you need to talk to his friend Rald, who is also a dragon.
Visually it is beautiful and the art is very well done. The music is not annoying and fit well for the scenes.
There are three levels casual, normal and expert.
The extras include Bonus Game, Strategy Guide, Media, The Cat Room which you furnish using gold and silver tokens, 11 Achievements and a Secret Game.
The hos and mini games were not hard and they can be quickly completed.
Enjoyed to game, at some places a little slow, but the storyline was interesting and kept me entertained.
Chronicle Keepers: The Dreaming Garden starts out with a witch type character coming after a mother and her daughter, Kinnat. The mother is turned into stone and the child is pushed into a different dimension. Kinnat is looking for her mother 10 years later and finds a book by using a piece of her mothers amulet. She finds a magic book and is drawn into the book.
From watching the opening cutscene, I was expecting a really gripping story. The story itself was well done, but the information is drawn out and there is very little talking and I started getting bored. After I exited the game, I didn't even remember what the music sounded like. The actual scenes were well done, the visual was quite good. The use of the amulet on such a regular basis though was annoying and ended up trying to use it even when I didn't need it. There were three levels, casual, normal and hard. I did demo on casual as usual. The hos was fairly simple and somewhat interactive. The mini games were also rather simple and got though them quickly.
It's not a bad game, but not a great game either. Really need to try to see if it meets what you want out of a game.
A strange and deadly pollen is spreading around the world, and you’ve been hired to track down its source. But the secrets you discover in the fabled kingdom of Floralia are much darker than you imagined...
I had the privilege to play this one for survey. I have been actually waiting for this and bought without doing demo.
Rapunzel has been taken over by her half sister and is poisoning the town using her voice to call up the flowers to do the deed. It has not yet been explained how and why Belladona is doing this and will we meet her shady, shadowy nanny. Spoiler alert: Rapunzel was to marry Snow White's brother and was this the deed that set Belladona off?
The visual of this game is beyond beautiful as are the other games in this series. The music and sound ambience work well and the only annoying part I've found is the harshness of a bird (crow?) cawing. The storyline is captivating and I seriously have not been bored. I also like the fact that the new time limit on the demos has been increased and draws you even in farther into the game.
The hos are fragment objects and create the most elaborate and beautiful objects that I have every seen. The detail is crisp and clear. The mini games are not too difficult and not too easy, but entertaining none the less.
Since, I am a huge fan of this series, I highly recommend it, but as always try it before you buy it.

I don't remember Grandma Studios and this is definitely a good start for them.
There are three levels: casual, advanced and hard.
There are your traditional extras, but the achievements are about 1/2 game related and 1/2 standard (hos, no hint, etc), plus there are 176 leaves to find usually about 4 in each scene. With the hos, which are fairly simple with interactive, there is also the option of doing Match 3. The mini games are not difficult and did not skip any.
The game is visually well done and the colors used are beautiful. The music fits very well with the scenes and not annoying.
I enjoyed the storyline and was rather surprised that I was so caught up that I finished the demo within the new 90 minute time limit. Speaking of which, I like having the 90 minute format for the collector edition games.
I thoroughly enjoyed the game, but it may not be for everyone as the difficulty level was not very high. Perhaps it gets more difficult as you go along. But did enjoy as it was.
