I liked the story line involving the crazy cats. Found it a little difficult to get into the story at the beginning but found out more as the game went on. There was a lot of running around back and forth between the different scenes and remembering what I could use in which scene. The hos were fine but a little difficult to find the items due to where they were placed and their size in comparison to some of the other objects. The hint button was fine and was able to use in a normal amount of time. Did not have to use the strategy guide in the hour that I played so really can't comment on its qualities. The cats that were to be found in each scene were easy to find. The difficulty in the game had was easy to moderate and the puzzles were not difficult at all. It is a great game to pass the time with and didn't feel like I had to rush.
Played the whole game before submitting my review. The art and visual was very well done. Not a lot of actual hos but I thoroughly enjoyed jumping between the ghost realm and the actual "time". Deciphering the glyphs were not hard at all just a matter of remembering doing those as a kid. The object hiding between the two realms was also interesting and made a change of pace from other games. The hos were not difficult and the items were readily identifiable. I also like the "Area Cleared" announcements as it saves time from going back to places that you do not have to especially since there was no map to follow. The hint button filled quickly on the casual game and rarely had to use it. It was also helpful to be able to use it when I lost what I was supposed to be doing which happened a couple of times when I got off the computer and then went back to the game. It was not one of the more difficult games but I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. The music/sounds did get annoying once in a while but I did have the sound turned down to low. All in all, a game that was not difficult, was not boring, had a great story line and had some twists that kept it interesting,

I have liked all of the Big Story Adventures. The London Story didn't start out with a lot of information and felt a little confused about what I was supposed to be doing. As I got farther into the story, I enjoyed it but found a lot of running around, some of the hos a little difficult to make out the objects and nothing yet fit together. I'm sure that if I had played more than just the demo, I would have finished more of the puzzles since the pieces were scattered all over the place. I liked the walkthrough attachment that helped answer the questions I had when I couldn't find something (the valve in the tree in St. James Park). Overall I liked the game and would recommend it.

I did the demos on both CE and standard. Ending up buying standard. I found it easy going with out pressure to complete quickly which connects to the music that plays. The art was really beautiful. HOS were not difficult and the hint buttons filled quickly. They were easy to follow and the objects were not too small or totally hidden. I also liked the fact that there was not a lot of running back and forth with all puzzles for each ghost in a relatively small area. Only running around was to portrait room. The story was enjoyable and even though it follows on a recurring theme of the occult and ghosts, it was not boring and different enough to keep it interesting. The map was helpful when I needed a nudge of what to do next. Overall the game was worthwhile and worth the money.
The story line was was good, little brother asking the detective to find his sister. I found that the statues being mechanical unusual and made the story different from others. I will get the game just to find out what the purpose behind the statues is and why the guard disintegrated into dust. The hos were fairly good and not so difficult that I needed to use the hint button. The paths that needed to be taken were easy to follow and not a lot of back tracking. I tend to like knowing when an area is cleared so there is no aimlessly roaming. but this game didn't have a lot of running back and forth. The visual art was well done and the music was enjoyable and fit the game. The game was fun and was not bored during the demo hour because of the decent level of challenge.
Did the demo only and did not need the strategy guide at all, so really have no idea whether it is good or not. A considerable amount of journal entries and good list of objectives. The hos were fairly simple and uncluttered, enjoyed the telephone hos and did not need the hint button. The warning at the beginning of game was a good choice especially if children get ahold of the game. The sound effects were good and the dialogue fit what was going on at the time. The visual aspects of the game were your basic "insane asylum" type of layout and from the warning label expected it to be much darker and eerier. I like the concept of racing against time to survive but the hallucinations hit fast and hard with the snow kitchen. Overall I liked the game.
Jewel Quest The Sapphire Dragon was fun, challenging and kept me on my toes. I especially enjoyed learning about each of the characters as the game went on. Almost wanted to stay with just one until you learned their whole story. I also liked the fact that you were continually changing game boards and styles with each step forward. I really enjoyed this game.
Played the demo only. The art and scenes were really quite nice and enjoyable to look at. Was taking my time to play the game while not used to not having a journal. The hos had just the right amount of "clutter" but the ofjects to find were not hard to find. I found the puzzles interesting and while challenging were not overly difficult to solve. Did not finish the first chapter by the end of the 60 minutes, but strayed back and forth several times and tried not to use the strategy guide that was available. The map was very helpful in keeping track of the locations of the rooms. I enjoyed the game and haven't decided yet whether to buy the CE or not.
I recommend this game!

Dracula: Love Kills
The Queen of Vampires is back and is determined to destroy the world! Help Van Helsing and Dracula as they team up to stop her!
Normally love supernatural and fantasy type games. This game was campy, the dialogue was slow and over the top, and mini games were really easy. It's not a bad game, but just not one that I would spend a game credit for.
This sequel is good and I really enjoyed this game. The music was not intense and went well with the storyline. The hos were just right and were well done. The mini games were interesting and not your normal type but not hugely difficult to solve. The strategy guide held its place. It was overall well done.
