Return to Joyville is an excellent sequel in the Puppet Show series. The game started with the return of Francesca and you see how she looked now and how she looked then. The carefree time of childhood. The things that are needed are fairly easy to follow, but do challenge you. The strategy guide stays were it is supposed to and the hint key fills quickly. The tools bar is a little annoying in trying to remember what you have there since you have to hit the tools button to see whats in the inventory. I am definitely recommending this game

The game started slow and didn't start really getting into it until the time ran out. Talking to characters ran a little slow and it popping up in the middle of the scene was kind of annoying. The hint button filled pretty well and liked that it was usable as where to go next without having to refill unless it had to use the hint. The mini games were simple and not to challenging. It was trying to find out where to go next that added to the challenge. The hos were cluttered and some of the items were difficult to find because they were small. It was a good game but not something I personally will buy, while others may like it just fine.

The storyline is good. The repetitive music can be annoying. The scenes are on the dark side and a little hard to see. The hos are also difficult due to blending of one object into another. The hint button fills quickly and can be used to let you know if you have to do anything in a scene which i really like since there is no map or journal. It isn't one of the best games but it is a good game.
I recommend this game!

This match 3 was very cute and fun to play. I liked the rebuilding of the fairy village and watching the building as I added blocks per level. The game had good music but it became wearing on the nerves after a while. I liked the in between vocals of the chief and the power ups. All in all it was a fun game to play.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first Spirits of Mystery and totally loved this one. While the background art was not crisp the style was totally in character with the storyline and the objects in hos were easy to find. The use of finding objects to get objects in hos were different and I liked how it all fit together. Using the amulet to defeat the poison vines that Isa set up was also fun. The strategy guide stayed where you left off which I liked and the hint button filled quickly. There was a some running back and forth but not to the extent that it was making me crazy. The music was enjoyable and not annoying but turned it down to a lower level before I even started. The hint button filled quickly and the mini games were not too difficult. Overall this is a great game and plan to add it to my collection.
I recommend this game!

When I go House of a 1000 doors, I absolutely had to buy it before I even finished the demo. I feel the same way about House of a 1000 doors: The Palm of Zoroaster. The visual and sound quality are excellent and the music is very well done. The storyline continues on from where it left off, but it sounds as if there should have been more when she makes the comment about sometimes the house is eerie and sometimes it is cozy. The hint button fills quickly, the journal does very well to follow the story, the strategy guide is right there and easy to access and holds your place. The map lets you go where you want to go whether back or forward without having to do the running around yourself. The hidden object are your normal hos with the little extra steps, but all are easily found and not difficult. The hidden spooky objects are a little more difficult to locate but do stand out as being different and not quite belonging there. Overall it was thoroughly enjoyable and plan to purchase as soon as I finish this review.

The visual art is good and the music was well done. It was difficult to get started but once I got past the beginning it was involved, entertaining and enjoyable. I found the "goggle" choice made it a bit more of a challenge and different than the average hos game. The hint button filled quickly and was very useful to know where to go next. I also liked the "area completed" addition so I didn't have to go back somewhere I didn't need to to. I also liked the interaction between the two main characters as you go through the game. I only played the demo but thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent. Definitely a buyable game.

I like the hidden mystery games as a simple hos game with fairly easy hos and puzzles. It's a game with a little requirement on how to use the objects with some running back and forth. I particularly liked being able to use the hint button to check and see if I needed to find something in a particular area. Also I liked the map with where I was, when I had a task in an area and when an area was clear so I didn't have to retrace my steps. The hint button filled quickly on the casual game and the "sparkles" of what needed to be looked at was discreet and did not distract you from the rest of the scene. The music was subtle and fit the mood and the art was very well done. I don't know yet whether I'll buy the game but I do recommend this game for a easy play game.

The story line concept is well done and even though I didn't finish the demo have already decided to get it. The art is absolutely beautiful and the hos is just the right type of difficult in the casual mode. I liked the flashbacks and the tie in to the "real time" Having the map, the list of tasks and the strategy all tied in with this game is great. The hint button and skip buttons fill quickly and the unique way of the puzzles and having to follow the instructions to open them is totally different than the norm. I liked the cyan attacker and the uncertainty of the only human that she has had contact with. I recommend this game.

The game was well done. The hint button was well done with hints of where to go next and filled quickly. There was a lot of help with the sparkles and hand as what to pick up (maybe a little too much help) in the casual mode. The art was well done and the music was just right. It was easy to follow and the storyline was not boring as long as you kept the goal in mind. The choosing of what you wanted to say next was a little on the slow side and the finding of objects made a bit of going back and forth distracting. But overall I would buy this game and recommend it.
