I like this series. It's a lot of fun, the levels are good, there's interesting things to do and it takes some brainwork. My only complaint is that Marion is a stereotypical girl - only interested in makeup and things being pretty. Seriously? Why isn't she shooting arrows or planning strategy? Maybe the developers will develop her personality in the next game.
I was so happy to see this and bought it almost immediately. I've replayed the previous games several times and never tire of them. Other reviewers have given detail, so I'll just add a few observations. In addition to getting rid of pests like rats and bats, you now have stinging insects to deal with. I found this incredibly relevant and slightly ironic. I love the option to either sleep in camp or eat food to gain energy. I did guess the ending pretty soon, but that didn't make the game any less fun. I really wish this offering had been as long as the previous games. Quarantine is boring. I want my own dragon.

I bought this game after playing the demo because I really like the storyline. I did play on relaxed, which I what I do first on every strategy game.
Fun storyline and characters Quick upgrades for workers Unlimited workers Touchscreen friendly Hidden objects (treasure chests) Good graphics
As much as I enjoyed it, after coming to the end (?) I found a few disappointments as this is supposed to be a CE:
No strategy guide (where are those treasure chests?) No bonus levels and no explanation You can't earn stars on relaxed The ending feels unfinished
I guess I need to go back and play on normal and see if anything changes, but I shouldn't have to! If this is all there is, it's not really a CE and should not be marketed/priced as one.

I agree with everything Penmom said. Love the hidden objects, the different levels, the graphics, the storyline. This game takes a lot of thinking and planning. I found myself replaying levels several times just to progress. Just wish there was a strategy guide and the levels take forever to unload. Waiting for a good sale to buy this one.

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this, but I got addicted pretty quickly. Others have gone over the storyline, so I'll just list the plus & minus points.
Plus - -Choices affect the story outcome. I'm already itching to play a second time through to change the story. -Collectible icons. The herbs and morphing objects are not always easy to find, but you have a flashing icon for morphs and a sliding screen for herbs to keep you looking. -Interesting HOPs and puzzles with 2 levels of challenge. - Most voices were pretty good. Minus - -The boy's voice was annoying. Why do developers always have whiny children? Have they ever actually worked with real kids? I do every day and most of them don't sound squeaky. -Cheesy monsters -My conscience when I made a poor choice
I recommend this game!

You had me at the Scottish accents. Unfortunately, the gameplay itself was confusing, there was no map, and the game froze before the trial was over. Sigh...

I had to quit playing before the trial even ended. Nothing terribly new and interesting. The characters and dialog were annoying, the pop up instructions were intrusive and not all that helpful, and the flashing graphics on the start point were just unnecessary. Not a buy for me. I'd rather replay Viking Brothers. Again.

This was an okay game. Bought the game because it was a good deal and mostly satisfied with it. Would not have paid full price for it. The villain was too over the top, the characters were a bit bland, the quests were sometimes idiotic (why does one need to make a torch to burn away spider webs when I already have a lighter?) The mini games were mostly the usual. Some were fun and creative. I tend to skip puzzles I don't like and I did skip a few. The HOPs were interesting and enjoyable. I like Morty, but sometimes his interrupting comments annoyed me. I don't like it when you can't go back and get collectibles you've missed, as was the case with this game. The bonus game was interesting and not just a rehash of a backstory.

If you are looking for a gripping storyline and a superb command of the English language, this is not the game for you. If you are looking for a variety of games and puzzles, come on in. I really enjoy this series. There are 3 levels of difficulty, so I can play at my own pace. The puzzles are challenging, but not overwhelming. The instructions could be clearer, but it's fairly easy to get the hang of the puzzles. The verbiage is a hoot, since whoever translated this game is clueless - "a very seek mind." The story line is not very enthralling, but that's not the point of this game, so just have a good time with it.

I was excited to see all the positive reviews and tried this out. I immediately lost interest because the game controls are slow and unresponsive. 2 or 3 clicks to use an object is frustrating. Even trying to click the menu was a challenge and not the kind I wanted. I didn't even finish the first level. Too bad, because it looked interesting.
