Puppet Show Souls of innocence is an intriguing, fascinating and exciting game with very good graphics, magnificent scenes and a perplexing storyline. There is just enough dialogue to keep you abreast of the game and the music is some what creepy in places to make a great atmosphere. This is a typical Collectors edition game As we have grown to expect with C.E. games lots of bactracking to re visit scenes to find out why everybody is asleep. The built in Strategy Guide is not really needed in the first couple of chapters but as the game progresses it is an essential element to let you know how far back or forward you need to go to continue through the game and not try to stumble on 'blindfolded' as it were. The puzzles and mini games are very good, some take some nutting out, others are reasonable but all can be skipped if need be. The hidden Objects are clear and precise, some are small and challenging and take a bit of time to spot and the hint button is not really needed as all can be spotted eventually. In summary a very good and interesting game, well worth the money and a great addition for any collection.

Journey of hope was not a very inspiring game for me it lacked guts, intrigue and interest. The only good part was the graphics which were quite good and clear, a few though were a tad dark. The dialogue I think was OK - most times it disappeared before I had a chance to read it all. The plot, if you could call it that was supposed to depict a young girl looking for her father but how it turned out was going from room to room, scene to scene looking for pictured hidden objects which seemed to have no point to the story. At one stage I was supposed to be looking for parts of a boat which included a dragon fly for example and a number other superfluous items which had nothing to do with a boat. Most of the puzzles could be solved by my 6 year old grand daughter, and were made even easier by the inbuilt help dialogue. When the hidden objects were found the game was very slow to acknowledge the find and at some stages I had found three or four before they started to clear. The hint, if it was needed at all was also very slow to replenish. All in all not a game for an expert or an intermediate player, it may even to too simple for a beginner, so I can only recommend this game for a beginner or novice.

A peculiar game to say the least. crash lands in a hot air ballon and escapes in a magically revamped derelict boat. Rather a short game which could have included more detail of repairing the boat. There seemed to be no point in the story - after crash landing all that followed was a continual search for irrelavant stuff. The graphics were clear and precise and there was not much dialogue to tie you down. The plot kinda lost me and I played it twice to ascertain what I had missed which wasn't much. The puzzles and mini games were quite good, some needed a bit more brain power than others but none were too difficult. The hidden objects were of two types, standard- which were average to find, some were challenging and small, and then there was the shape of hidden objects which were integrated in some scenes. These were straight forward. As a hidden object game quite good to average, as an adventure game - lacking, and overall just so so. I will recommend this game only because I like hidden object games.

To start off with I thought this game was vague, hard to follow and confusing. The fragmented hidden objects took some finding and emulating the constellations was very tedious. The graphics were quite clear, bright and precise and there was just enough dialogue (no voice overs) needed to understand the game. The plot entailed a need to remove illusions whilst trying to recover a magic book and travelling to different places and assisting the locals in an endeavour to complete your campaign. The puzzles and mini games were intriguing and some needed some brain power, some were laborious and some were tricky. The fragmented hidden objects were sometimes quite difficult to find and needed a hint quite often, just as well the hints recharged quickly and the use of the magic glasses separated illusions from reality. As I progressed further into the game I was really enjoying the challenge and was rather sorry when it came to an end. Chapter 5 provided an extra challenge. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable game and it is money well spent.

Fiction Fixers I thought at the start was just a kids game, but as I got further into the game I found it quite enjoyable. The dialogue required a bit of reading and the voice overs were what you would expect from an Alice in Wonderland rendition. The plot is a typical A in W tale with the difference that the heros are trying to out-do the evil Illerati later known as Victor Vile and his devilish antics to try and ruin the age old story. The puzzles and mini games are many and varied with hardly any two the same. Bouncing lobsters, rotating key holes and many others to test your skills. The hidden objects range from standard hos some of which are rather challenging to gleaning objects from other locations and transferring into the game for more needed impements. A typical kids game with a difference that will also hold the interest of the adults. A good buy.

This game I found to be a change of pace from standard hidden object games and was enjoyable to play without being really exciting. The graphics were quite good and clear and the dialogue was just enough without being over done. The plot was that a young couple scoured America helping people in and endeavour to sell antiques etc to make money to stock their own shop. The puzzles were pretty straightforward but some of the hidden objects had cryptic clues which made them pretty tricky, others were no problem. Not a bad game and quite interesting - worth the money.

I found this game to be quite a good old detective story and who dunnit. The graphics were very good and clear and the dialogue a bit tedious but necessary to keep abreast of the case as it unfolds. The background music however is repetitive and monotonous. The plot is to find a young girl's killer and it becomes even more intriguing when they think they have the culprit only to have the evidence disproven and they find themselves back to square one. The puzzles are interesting and intriguing and require a bit of thought but they are not really hard. Some of the hidden objects are very small and blend in with the background and other objects which make them hard to find, others are ok. A good game - worth buying.
I recommend this game!

Just a bit different from the normal H.O. games, but a pleasant diversion. The graphics are very good and quite clear but perhaps a tad dark in some scenes. The dialogue is not excessive and just enough to explain the proceedings and helpful details of how to continue. The general background sounds and voices together with other movements in the scenes add to the reality. The plot seems to get a little lost between taking photos, dressing up and building gadgets but I don't think it takes too much away from the gist of the game. The puzzles and mini games, as I said above, involve taking pictures of items given cryptic clues, dressing up and constructing crazy gadgets with items gleaned from scenes and added to your inventory. A couple of the hints were a bit misleading, ie highlighting a door, and once entered, reaveled that you need to go to another location. With no walk through blog you will just have to move about from room to room until the task is highlighted. Some of the hidden objects are a bit difficult to find but overall an intriguing and interesting game - well worth the money.

I thought this game had quite an intriguing and novel concept, a bit of a variation from the normal point and click hidden object games. The graphics were quite good and the music soothing and didn't get on your nerves. The dialogue was just enought to keep you interested in what challenges lay ahead. The plot was that a son had to return his grand father to the present time after he developed a machine that took him through time and space meeting some significant characters from history. The puzzles were interesting and required some thought but were not that difficult whilst the hidden objects required visits to several different scenes to construct various items to be used in the tasks. There were also some standard h.o.s, some of which were a tad hard to find. All in all a good interesting and intriguing game - I enjoyed it.

This game was a pleasant change from the past few games that I have played, not stressful, simple story, bright scenes and not mushy with romantic wedding stuff. The graphics were very good, clear and defined with enough dialogue just to keep you abreast of what is happening and what you are looking for. The plot is simple - an FBI agent looking for an elusive jewel thief, both at various locations on board and in several visiting ports. Puzzles and mini games ranged from simple to easy. Hidden objects ranged through the whole spectrum from easy to challenging. There has been some reference of no walk through blog - this is true - but when you come to a shimmering area within a scene it usually gives a clue of what is required to look for, Where to find it but, could be a bit tricky. A good change of pace and depth, I quite enjoyed it.
