This is again a great MCF! As a detective, you have to find a person, a ghost, a pirate... - The graphics are great, with real persons. - The sound is adding to the creepy atmosphere. - The objects in the HOS are quite easy to find. - The puzzles are sometimes challenging. I was happy to have the walkthrough. - You have a journal that is very helpful. - The dialogs are sometimes quite long, but they contain useful hints. - There is a map that is actually part of a puzzle, so of no use otherwise. - The hint system is good, giving you advice for the next task. - There is a lot of to and fro, but you don't get lost. - The game is long; I needed about 5 hours. All in all, a great creepy game, with a twist!
This game is a mix of FROGs, HOGs, and puzzles. The storyline is good. The cut-scenes are a bit slow. The objects are sometimes difficult to find. The puzzles are easy. There is only one game mode. And... it's short: less than 2 hours. But for a break it's just enough. Because of the length, I would recommend it more as a DD.
This game is so nice! The story is interesting, the graphics are wonderful, the puzzles are unique! The HOS are interactive with another HOS within them. They are clear and beautiful! There is a very good map showing you active locations. The puzzles are really not the kind that you usually get and so good, even if they are quite easy! There is a journal that is a summary of the story. There is also a task list. The dialogs with voice-over are not too long. The hint system is good and recharging quickly. In the Expert mode, you have no sparkles. I love everything in this game..... except the length, about 2 hours. But nevermind, it's really worth the money!
At the beginning of the game, I thought that this was a good storyline, and found it interesting to travel to different times. There are 2 game modes. I played in Difficult mode and there are no sparkles. Plus: - The graphics are quite good. - The HOS are clear, and the objects easy to find. - The hint system is good. - There is a task list. Minus: - The puzzles are way too easy. - The dialogs get boring after some time. - Actually the whole game gets boring, because it's only a matter of going back and forth, playing some HOS, solving easy puzzles. There is no challenge at all. The game is rather short; it took me a bit more than 2 hours. I could recommend this game only as a DD, and even then...
The storyline is interesting. There are 2 game modes. The graphics are good, not overwhelming. Some of the objects in the HOS are hard to find. The puzzles are quite easy but interesting. There is no map and a lot of to and fro. I didn't skip anything and it took me 2 1/2 hours, so a bit short for what it offers.
This game is cute! Yes there are monsters, but you are there to fight! There are 3 game modes. - The graphics are wonderful, crisp. - There are a few HOS, very clear. - The puzzles are on the easy side, but really interesting. - There are 6 chapters in various locations. - There is a journal and a map, but you won't need it a lot. - There are 60 fairies to collect; they are not easy to find. - You get various achievements (no hints, no skip, etc) The game length is good; it took me a bit more than 3 1/2 hours. A really great game, recommended to all those who like fairy tales!
I like the storyline, it's different from what you usually get. You travel from one crime scene to another in a funny way. There are 3 game modes. The graphics are clear. There are not many HOS. The puzzles are quite easy. You have to find sometimes many objects to move further, which I liked. There is a journal. There is no map, but you don't need one, since the game is linear. The hint system shows you the way. There are badges and optionally dreamcatchers to find. You will get different achievments (using no hints, solving quickly, etc.) The ending is a bit abrupt but ok. The game is not very long; it took me a bit more than 2 1/2 hours without skiping.

It's been a long time since I bought a CE, but it was worth it! The storyline is interesting and different. There are 3 game modes AND custom, where you have options for hints, skip and sparkles. - The graphics are great. The objects in the HOS are easy to find. - The puzzles are not too difficult; some are unique. - You have a journal. - There is an interactive map, very clear and complete, showing you where there are tasks. With this map, you won't even need the SG! - The hint system highlights the location in the scene. - There are interesting achievments and various morphing objects to find, as well as humming birds. - The dialogs are not too long, which I like. The game length is good: it took me 3 hours for the main part and about 1 hour for the bonus chapter. I had a great time playing this one and loved everything in it!
This game is the longest and most complex game of the series. The graphics are again beautiful. There are many scenes to visit. There are not many HOS. The puzzles are quite easy, but some require patience. It's sometimes difficult to know where to go next, but luckily, the owl is here to help! The little dragon is there too! There is an interactive map, very useful - it's so much better than having to walk back and forth! I loved the end! The game has a good length: it took me nearly 5 1/2 hours to finish.
The storyline is interesting. There are 3 game modes, and you can decide if you wish with or without sparkles! The graphics are clear. You have to find objects scattered in the scenes. The puzzles are quite easy. You can earn some achievments and there are 21 angels to find. I was a bit disappointed by the length; it took me about 2 1/2 hours to finish. So I would recommend it more as a DD.
