Yes, I do know timing is essential for time management games but I also know there are other people like me out there, who play just for fun and relaxation and we enjoy the one without a timer! And this is a great game with a relaxed mode, great graphics and sound. Wonderful story and lots of fun! Go ahead fellow relaxed big fishers and enjoy this one!
I recommend this game!

Well, it's a standard TM game and for them who wants to play it untimed it has that kind of mode as well as two timed ones. The visual and music is fine. A couple of buildings I haven't seen before in TM games adds to the fun factor:)
The story line was a bit boring. Even though I realise I probably thought so mainly because something inside of me goes gnurmph whenever I see horned helmets on Vikings, being a Swede myself.
So thumbs up for the untimed mode and fun buildings and thumbs down for the storyline.
I recommend this game!

To start with I don't like TM games that are timed and make you stress your heart & soul out. That just isn't why I play computer games! But this one, just like Outta this Kingdom is only semitimed, provides lots of fun and for this one also unusually good 3D animations! What can you say...I'm thrilled, enthralled and actually wanting to get there in time for once, since if you play the leisure mode only half of it is timed so you know you can relax in a couple of minutes!
I recommend this game!

Want a game with no blood and no zombies but still intriguing and perhaps a bit romantic but still thrilling? This is it! It's not a great game but it's really sweet, interesting and very catching! It's set in the late 18th century-early 19th centuary and has very nice graphics. I bought it on a daily sale and never was my three dollars better spent! Give it a try if you're looking for a game without monsters and gore but still wants the chill down your spine! It's like an old fashioned novel from the same century. I think this game works both for adults and young girls aged ten.
I recommend this game!

Like the previous games in the series you're playing as the detective. Great graphics and voice overs. The HOS aren't too many and they're very varied in lots of ways, so I really never felt fed up with HOS in this game. Minipuzzles are perhaps a bit too easy but they also come with lots of variation. Only complaint is that it's a bit short (3h on casual mode). On the other hand the bonus game is great and continous the story so you get kind of a different ending;)
I loved the first game in the series about Venice and was actually a bit disappointed by the 2nd. In this the 3rd one I have no such complaint since this is really as good as numer one!
I recommend this game!

I love Agatha Christie and HOGs. But I only do them for fun and unfortunatly most Agatha mysteries are timed at Big Fish. This one isn't and it also happen to be one of my favourite novels, so I really enjoyed it. The story is good, it's a HOS only but you get to do it in interaction with the dialoge which is great and inventive. The only thing I miss is the lack of voices. Some nice English voiceovers would have been great!
I recommend this game!

Everyone who enjoys the Snark series will probably like this. This isn't cartooned steam punk though so it is much better. The graphics are photographic clear and the music is great. Only annoying thing for me as not of English origin and unused to voice overs on the telly when you're an adult (here everything is subtitled) is that the mouth movements don't fit...hehe...But that's a very minor complaint!
The storyline feels really new and inventive even if you're on another rescue mission. The environments are awesome and well, just sit down and enjoy the ride! Or should i say flight?!
It's not a sequel to the first (also really great) Surface game so you can play them in any order you like.
I recommend this game!

...reminding me of the old games I used to play on my first PC, only with much better graphic of course. Not the average HOS but I sometimes crave for that when I get bored of the comventional ones (piling through all junk). A really interesting and fun storyline and intriguing and funny characters just makes it even better. A fairytale game suitable to enjoy with your children. And like every fairytale a little bit scary but not too much:)
I recommend this game!

I seldom write negative reviews but I found this game a great disappointment. Not only was it really short, took less than 4 hours including bonus game but the music was horrible...or well the sound, cannot call it music at all. I had looked forward to some nice New Orleans jazz, butt the game mostly contained some kind of eerie sounds that didn't fit the environment. The story felt thin and the characters as well.
If you want a good HOG there are many other much better games!
I don't recommend this game.

I bought this game on sale and so it was well worth the money! Intriguing storyline and since it's a chapterbased HOG the locations never feel too many. So not so much running. On the other hand the amount of objects you need to find in the HOS are astronomous. I've played lots of HOGS and most games have twelwe objects to find. Here you have 16 and some of them are coming in large quantities which means in an average HOS you'll have to find like 25 objects. On the other hand there're not too many HOS and the minipuzzles are for once great and a bit out of the ordinary, which is a great plus.
And since it's also quite a long game for a SE I really do recommend it!
I recommend this game!
