This is really a four star game if you consider plot, puzzles, HoS and graphics. It's thrilling and not too scary. The problem is it's way too much reading and although voice overs in the cut scenes, books, notes and articles you find are not read aloud. Neither talking to characters you meet. And boy, do they talk sometimes! I played this with my husband, who is a slow reader while I'm a speed reader so we ended up me just giving him a briefing of the most important details in like for example four (4!!!) pages in a book. I still recommend this game but you shouldn't buy it if you don't like to reading because if you skip that you will miss the plot and important clues.
This is a great game. It's got several different HOS to collect money for your tank, standard HOS, collect a special item (like 10 feathers), collect everything made of gold or pick the first item of three that you spot 10 times. Since what you really want is to get money fast to decorate your fish tank it's nice to along with the standard HOS have the much shorter ones that only take a minute to complete.
As always in playrix games the graphics are super great and the storyline nice and logical.
I tried this when it was on sale and for 3 dollars it's absolutly worth the money! It's a cute Alice story and I think the feeling of a pop-up book is fun since my daughter, who is named after this charachter, had exactly such a book as a child. It's a simple game suitable for children or like me very childish adults. The graphics are nice and the HOS are easy. No scary monsters or horrors, so it's a game you can play with your children!
I bought this April 1st when it was on sale and this is one of my best sale buys without pre-checking! If you love the movie "A Knight's Tale" like I do this is surely a must for you! I was completely hooked like one minute into the game and it also have a new twist of HOGs, you can dress yourself up:) Just as in the movie it's set in Medieval times but with a lot of modern things...like todays road signs with a crossed out dragon...hilarious!
This game is different from most HOG, no looking for the odd shoe or sickle, you look for small parts of the objects you need instead. This actually made this one of the most challenging HOG's I've played and hint button was frequently clicked! But not because of bad graphics, the graphics are great and this is one of the rare HOGs with great music, at least to my ears! I really loved the cartoon layout and the fantastic fantasy storyline!
Nice and charming little game. But if you want your or your children's English to improve I cannot recommend it. Too many spelling errors and also lots of grammatical faults rules this game out for learning. A nice little game if you just want to kill some time though and is not someone who gets too annoyed when peace is spelled piece or she becomes a he or the last word of the sentence is missing or things like that. Everything in the story is typed, no voice over in this game.
Excellent HOG! One of the best and clearest graphics I've seen and the storyline is so nicely twisted you actually get two games in one, even without the bonus chapter. Also immensly logical and also a nice amount of locations (that is not too many) to run back and through to. Fun scares too and very good hidden object scenes. The mini puzzles were mostly the usual turning-things-around-that-turns-everything sort that I hate but there were also some new ones that I really enjoyed. Also it was great to have this new scenery, noot a castle or house, but a fun park in all it's twisted dimensions!
Great game. Just like Harris' books it's about cool vampires and very funny horror characters! Only downside is you can't complete the story in this game and next hasn't showed up yet!
I loved this game, very good story and very nice graphic. Very gruesome in more than one way but that makes it even more addictive since you just got to see the end of it! A must for catlovers like myself!
I enjoyed this better than Life quest, which is very similar, even though this probably is supposed to be for younger ppl. I'm an adult and not being American the high school theme in Life q was a bich rich... Magic Life on the other hand was just nice, enjoyable and lots of fun!
