Wow! I was just browsing the adventure games genre and saw this game. I looked at the lowest rating review of 3 stars based on the demo headlined "Don’t Ignore This Little Gem" and decided it to give it a try. Wow, based on 45 minutes into the demo and the 'doorknob' - made me laugh, I am going to buy it. Based on 45 minutes into the demo I am giving it three stars. The HO is extremely interactive, the entire demo is interactive. The story has a great start and the actors, real ones. Oh my, I just love it and I am hoping that the entire game is so wonderful. Bye now, I have a game to enjoy! I may give another review after I complete it.
I recommend this game!

Lots of junk piles, upon junk piles. As you finish one grainy junk pile looking for fish, bells, pipes and treble clef here goes another for you to do - no breaks in between. Well I began making my own breaks by ignoring some of them and doing other things like wandering from room to room but eventually I must do them. If you like delving into piles of grainy junk looking for stuff just for looking sake then dive in fishes and go look for starfishes, crawfish and crabs that have no connection with the game. Showing the same scene over and over again with the same junk. I started playing this game and stopped, weeks later I played to the end just to see it through.
I don't recommend this game.

The computer is a challenging player which keeps my interest peaked. I beat up the computer several times but the computer slamming me sometimes is good fun as it sharpens my skills. I enjoyed the demo and I am going to purchase this game.
I am giving four stars because I would have liked to see my opponents animated with fun back talk chats while the game is being played. I hope a developer is taking notice. Come on in this day and age Bigfish you can put out a better Dominoes game than this. Adopt the skill level but improve the animation and make it more real an lifelike. Like some of the poker games for instance.
I recommend this game!

After I played the demo I bought the CE because I liked the time travel gadget. I like gadgets. But to the rest, if you like hidden object scenes then look no further. This game you will love. HOS to HOS with few breaks in between. Leave one junk pile and delve into another. Objects repetitious and no class to them, just a junk pile to reward you with an object forming part of several same type objects to collect from HOS areas before you can put them together. Hither and thither, two and fro. The developers recognized the tiresomeness of it all and so using the gadget, it is transportation from room to room in the same mansion but at different time zones. I refused to travel any other way looking for HOS. I just get transported to them. That is pretty cool.
The story line is good, the graphics excellent, the music a bit tiresome and a few interesting mini games; but all in all a lengthy feast of HOS for you HOS lovers to gorge on. I love HOGs, this genre is my favourite but the game must not be replete with HOSs to the point of nausea. Especially collecting a list of items that makes no sense to the game. So for you lovers of junk piles, I recommend five stars. Oh alert - I am giving a spoiler - the ending is a cliff hanger, rather abrupt. Developers say to be continued. The CE does have a nice extra little game at the end with another banquet of guess what ---- Hidden object junk piles. HOS lovers, go search for feathers, bells, pipes, hour glass, roses and other whatnots. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This game had excellent potential but maybe the developers put it out too soon because it went 'splat' Like an egg hitting the floor. No omelet just mess. Lots of going back and forth to the same scenes. The weirdo aliens were an interesting addition until you find that you do not know what to do with them. I do not usually bother with hints and strategies but I must admit this game sent me there a few times. Why did I purchase it? I think it was on sale - that figures.

I could say I was enchanted during the entire time that I played this game. I was caught up into the story which the developers focused with every challenging aspect. Lovely smooth graphics, picturesque sceneries and interesting game play. Long enough to have a good few hours of enjoyable entertainment. Lots of good mini games and enough HO scenes without too much to detract from the story. There is nothing not to like in this HOG. A definite keeper. Waiting for more of the same.

If you desire an HOG that is filled with eye candy graphics, wonderful music and sound effects, with enough challenge to be interesting while not overly taxing your brain buy it apropos you will have something like a good movie to just relax and enjoy. This is it. Great story that pulls you into the game. I enjoyed playing with my daughter. It has a sound reminiscent of the titanic sinking. You hear it once and you do not forget it. My daughter knows when this game is being played even if she does not see it. Unique!
I recommend this game!

I began playing this game when I was joined by my daughter and she is a geek who can play in expert mode. So she began running through the game like a rocket and I had no time to enjoy the beautiful graphics and the story line. So I waited when she was otherwise occupied and I gave myself a new profile and started again but the music sold me out. She came running "oh you are playing empress of the deep without me". This game is so wonderful, all the Empress of the Deep games are. They are like a movie with you being the heroine. It is Fun, Fun, Fun.
I recommend this game!

Unlike Dana I don't like this ghost business but I was hooked into this one. The storyline was so interesting I wanted to know what this was all about and I did not read the book but it mattered not. This game put me into the book. I was Dana and I was determined to solve this puzzle and I stayed up and dug into it to the very end. Great game, I loved it and got others to purchase it too. If you love HOGs and you love adventure and you do not mind a challenging brain tease now and again, delve into this one.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this one too. Interesting story and the challenges entertain and tease the brain to think. I like that. The graphics are good and the game take steps which keep the story in focus ergo an important aspect to enhance the experience. A good game, money well spent.
