When you call it a "Hidden Object Game," it needs to have HOGs! This game wasn't bad, but didn't grab me like other ERS games did, and I have more than one. The graphics weren't bad, but a bit fuzzy in some spots, music okay, game play nice.
Didn't use the hint, so don't know about that part of it. SG was a bit sketchy, but not too bad either.
I like adventure games (althought I much prefer combo adventure/HOG), but as I said, this one just didn't make me want to run out and buy it...even though there is a special on it today. No buy for me today. Maybe as an SE, maybe not.
Try it for yourself and decide it if is the game for you. We all have different tastes in games and you may thoroughly enjoy this one. This is the only reason I am recommending this game. Thanks for the reviews.
Not a bad game, but not exceptionally good either. I beta tested this one and I'm still not sure about it. I have other Boomzap games, but the graphics are no where near up to par and are very cartoon like. Because of this, the movements are very choppy.
Nice game play, music okay (for a while), games simple, HOGs were different and a bit fun, and nice voice-overs.
This game did not grab me from the beginning and did not get any better with play. I do not feel the need to buy this game to see what happens next. Very predictable story line. This is a very nice game for a beginner, but I personally did not find it very challenging for a seasoned gamer. I may purchase the SE, or wait to see if we have any "specials" for CE games, but no purchase today.
As always, try this game for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may find it quite fun. Thanks for the reviews.
Okay, unlike in the movies, I feel that when a series is being done, it should get better with each addition to the series. This one seems to have gone the other way...really fell off the map. I have the other two Shadows and really liked them, so was very excited to see this one come out. I was a bit disappointed to say the least.
Graphics were up to par, music not bad, HOGs nice, SG nice, games simple and hint system good. Really got tired of hearing the wolf growl every time I did something. Once in a while is good, but not constantly. Game play was very nice.
Don't understand why people have difficulty with a wide screen...I never have. Maybe I've just been lucky, but every game I try fills my 20 inch monitor.
I liked this game, but I'm not sure it is worth a CE price tag. Especially when people are saying it is so short. As with everyone else, short games do not make me happy. If the game isn't worth the price, I won't pay it. I'm going to put this one in my puddle for now and think on it a bit longer. I may end up getting it if there is a CE special some time, but not now.
As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games. Thanks for the reviews.
Interesting game. Mad scientist and lots of spiders! Really like the voice-overs. They add a great deal to a game, but I agree with cbtx...annoyingly slow speech. Very nice graphics, although a bit grainy in some spots. Nice game play and SG. Good hint system. Nice music. Games not difficult but take some thought (and there are a lot of them). I liked the 3 spider game, but then I like puzzles.
The one thing I really didn't care for was that the rooms, and not just the HOGs, were cluttered with junk. Yes, I know it was a museum, but no museum I've ever been in was anywhere near this cluttered and messy. Way too much searching around for things.
I liked the game, but not sure I liked it enough to spend CE money. I was losing interest very quickly, so quit with 30 minutes left. I will go back and finish the demo and decide from there, but will probably end up getting it anyway. Sort of have the need to see how it ends.
As always, try it out for yourself and decide if it is for you. We all have our own tastes in games. Thanks for the reviews.
I recommend this game!

As with CBTX, I grew up with Elvis and loved his music. He made rock and roll what it is today (real rock and roll, not the junk you hear most of the time). Without Elvis to pave the way, there would also have been no Michael Jackson either. I was really hoping this would be a really nice game, but was extremely disappointed.
Clips were nice, music nice. Graphics were grainy and not very good (better graphics would have made a huge difference in this game). Scrolling from one area to another was very choppy. The notes in the hint system were hard to see at times and I had to hit hint more than once to find something. Did like the fish HOG..that was quite different.
There was no flow to changing scenes. You enter the gate and suddenly you are in the dead of winter. Where did that come from? Even thought I loved Elvis, and still love his music, I did not love this game. I found it to be a bit boring and slow. There was nothing there to make me want to buy it.
As always, try it for yourself and make your own decision. We all have different tastes in games and you may really like this one. Personally, I think this would be a nice game for a beginner, and this is the only reason I am recommending this game. Thanks for the reviews.
Well, I was about 6 minutes into the game and decided I would purchase. As always, Elephant has come through with a major winner. I have the other 3 Mystery Tracker games and loved them all. So far, this is my favorite, even though it tossed me out of the game with an error message. Never had Elephant do that before.
Anyway, love little Elf. Exceptionional graphics and music. Like the combo of morphing animals and need to find something else. Very nice HOGs and games were quite fun. Very helpful hint system and SG, very clear.
I am going to purchase this game, but will wait to see if there is a fix to the problems they are having first. I hope so, I'm hooked...
As always, try it out for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games, but this one is well worth the price of admission. Thanks for the reviews.
Exceptional graphics and game play. Monkey's constant chatter got very annoying very quickly. Music got very old very quickly as well. Easy games and HOGs. Story line was no different, so far, but it wasn't bad. Can't add anything more than what everyone else has said, except that the game didn't grab me, but was interesting enough to make me want to purchase and see what happens.
Short and to the point for a change. As always, try it for yourself and decide if it's a game for you. We all have different tastes in games. Thanks for the reviews.
This dev is not familiar to me, but there are a lot of them out there. If they are new, not a bad first showing. Same old story line, but the graphics are very nice and so is the game play. Music isn't bad either...didn't get tired of listening to it.
HOGs interesting in that you could solve them two different ways. A little change now and then is nice. Games simple. There was no map, which would have been extremely helpful and save a lot of shoe leather.
Hint system nice, SG was good (don't know how many chapters, again), but if you aren't going to have a "jump" map, then give us a little direction to save time, e.g. back two, down one, up three, and into pub, etc.
Two things I didn't care for. Too many keys to find..wow! Everything is behind a locked door or cabinet that has a missing handle or knob. A bit much. Really didn't care for the flash of light you got when you find an item in the HOG. Very distracting.
All in all, a pretty nice game, but would like to know how long it is before I decide to buy. Game didn't make me want run right out and buy it when the demo ended, but I did wonder what happened next. Not really sure this is CE quality, so this will go into my puddle until I decide whether to buy or not. As always, give it a try and decide for yourself. We all have different tastes in games and you may like it a lot. Thanks for the reviews.

Wow, what a superb game! Loved the combo of morphing and need to find specific item in the HOGs...very different and fun. Love the "jump" map...always a plus in a game. Excellent graphics and game play. I even liked the music!
HOGs nice (and fun as I said above), but I agree, wording needs to be darker or background needs to be much lighter. A bit difficult to see clearly.
Nice SG, but I prefer knowing how many chapters a game has before I purchase. Hint system nice, but when it tells you to go back, it circles the entire bottom of the screen...weird.
There are lots of things to do in this game and all are fun. I really enjoyed the demo, which ended much to quickly for me. This is a definite buy for me, but always, try it for yourself and decide if this game is for you. Thanks for the reviews.
Something seems to be missing from this "HOG"...oh, there were no HOGs! Do they show up somewhere down the line? I got through the demo with 32 minutes left, beginning chapter 4 and still no HOGs.
Nice graphics and game play. A lot of shoe leather was used on this one. Music nice, items easy to find (not talking about HOGs, because I haven't seen any yet), games not difficult. Nice hint system.
Didn't care for the overly explanatory chatter from the monks. Your replys were quite short and somewhat bland. Nice voice overs for the monks, but needed some from player as well.
Something seems to be missing...besides the HOGs. It just didn't grab me and make me want to buy it. It wasn't very challenging for me. Nice little game for beginners, but as I say, try it for yourself and you decide. We all have different tastes in games and you may like this one a lot. Thanks for the reviews.
