I seem to be in the minority for this one but I found it boring. All I seemed to have to do was follow the explicit instructions to complete the puzzles. There was little to no brain work involved. If you didn't know what to do, then simply clicking on everything would solve it for you. Sorry but not a fan, the others in the series were better.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It was difficult without being impossible and it seemed to go on forever. Excellent value. I never take much notice of the stories but this ws a good one and actually had an ending which seems to be rare. Well worth a look.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
I applaud the makers of the MCF games for always trying to push the limits and take it that bit further but I can't help feeling they went too far with this one.
I'm a reasonably intelligent person who plays these games for fun but I found myself having to go to a walkthrough every few minutes at one point and even when I knew the answers to the problems, they made no sense to me.
If you want something to make you stop and think for days, then this is the game for you but if, like me, you just want something to entertain then I believe this to be too hard and slightly out there!
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. At the time of playing it there was no walkthrough available and I managed to complete it without one. Due to the challenging nature it took a little longer than some but that was a good thing. I really felt it was excellent value for money. The others in the series are also good but they have improved each time. I can't wait to see what they do next.
