I didn't think Sunnyglow disliked anything! Don't want to be contrary, and I do agree about the "helpers," but it's a fun way to while away some time, and with the weekend deal, don't feel you have much to lose.
I can't add anything more to what has already been said, just wanted to put in my two cents! Try it and see what you think.

Based on demo: there are only two modes of play, casual and hard. No voices, just text. Graphics are childish. If you like puzzles, i.e., put all pieces in their respective color slots, etc. One puzzle after another.
The miracle of the Green Moon, which flourished with plants of all kinds, had lasted for only a few moments. A cataclysm made the Moon lifeless again. Find out why!
This review is based on part of the demo. I played the original Green Moon years ago and liked it. There is only one mode of play; you have a tutorial and hints. It appears the game is played in first person, as I didn't see or hear anyone else.
I didn't like the fact that you can pick up just about anything, so you have a LOT of inventory. Didn't really get into it yet, and plan on looking for some kind of w/t, as the hints aren't very specific. I do have a free game code, and may use it. A different type of game; saw no HOS in the approx. 10 mins. I played.

This is based on approx. 15 mins. of demo. There are 3 modes of play: casual, adventure and challenge. There are voice overs and text. I encountered only one HOS during my trial. In the HOS, you see morphing objects, but you can't get them! Strange, but I did get used to it. A tutorial comes up once in awhile, which was helpful when needed, and you can skip it. There are achievements, but couldn't access them during trial.
The game is about a haunted school where children have died or are trapped. You have physic abilities and are there to help them.

This is based on the demo. There are three modes of play: easy, hard and extreme. No voices, only text. Not a lot of HOS scenes (at least in the demo), and they were clear and not too dark. The story is about a woman who has her own ship and has been asked to help out with strange things happening in the town.

I'm about 1/3 done with the main game. I guess I'm spoiled, because there is no "hint" button. The only reason I use that is to find out where to go next. The game play seems haphazard to me. I guess right now I'd like to just "play and enjoy" and not have to keep going back and forth to the SG.
Not the worst game I've played, but not near the best either.

*and not because I'm afraid. Very poorly done graphics, constantly flashing "clue" button (not unlike a strobe light). The poor man is so afraid of his wife because he may not find the right tool to open the car's trunk.
One of the first puzzles is where you have to "invert" (their description) the pipes. The scene is very dark and you are supposed to exchange pipes. I usually like this kind of puzzle, but not like this.

I downloaded the demo just for the heck of it. Ended up being very surprised. There are two modes of play easy and hard. There is a lot to do. I even used the tutorial, which I never do. The hint button charges quickly and is helpful. If you don't like lots going on, I don't think you'll like this. I found it intriguing.
Very different game. There are a lot of noises going on, but can be turned down or off, of course.
The game involves a lot of machines, connections, monitors, etc. I found if you think about how to do something, it is mostly common sense. It appears you go about the town trying to help people. Talking to them lets you know what they need, and what you can get in return.
I may buy this game; as I said, it is very different and possibly addictive.

This is based on the demo. There are three modes of play. Written text and sounds, but no voices. The female detective and her father are "normal" looking people. Other characters appear to be a mole (hint button) and a cat that looks like Puss In Boots. Didn't appear to be a lot of HOS. Game appears interesting and different I enjoyed what I did play, and got it using a free game code.

Only one method of game play. Lots of dialog, though you can skip through it. You can't skip the tutorial (don't even get that option). Lots of HOS; straight, no interaction and a too fast click penalty.
This game appears to have been made a long time ago. Do have a question: has anyone noticed all the games about Greece lately? Anyway, this is a "no" for me.
