I found this game to be very intriguing, not sure if I love it yet, (I probably will when I get further into it); it has great possibilities. Man leaves baby at your doorstep and you follow him to find out what is going on; he morphs from an evil face to a kind one and says you are the only one able to save the baby. There is also a mystery in your background involving a locket with missing hearts.
Good stuff: 1--Helpful mechanical owl who can fetch things from high places 2--map which depending on difficulty level you choose lists tasks and shows completed areas also transports (beam me up Scotty) 3--4 difficulty levels including custom, I chose casual 4--roses to collect from every room 5--hearts to find 6--different HOS, one you need to open the lists with keys, move items around, outlines etc. 7--each HOS has a morphing object to find as well 8--achievements to accomplish 9--3 bonus chapters listed 10--you find books in various rooms and must replace what is missing from the book in order to progress in the game; missing items to be found within the room 11--in casual hint recharges quickly 12--graphics, cut scenes and voice overs are very well done 13--book giving background story, in order to continue the story you must find item listed in corner of book
Bad stuff: 1--HOS some items are difficult to locate areas too dark in some corners; in stained glass HOS you really have to search to find items. 2--Different HOS scenes could use a bit of an explanation on how to open them up
The games that have been released recently I have had no problem with and have become a bit too easy; I have found this game to be more challenging even in casual mode. I finished the demo before the hour was up and will get the game; especially since I have 2 game credits. I would say that this is a game NOT for beginners.

I had a coupon which would expire this week so I tried the demo. This is a good HOS/puzzle game for beginners and those who want something relaxing and not too hard to pass away the time.
Hints are good fill quickly no need for a SG. Animal helper Some voiceovers good but rest you need to read some cut scenes need to collect fireflies 31, some of which appear the 2nd time you visit the scene visit HOS at least twice no map so there is going back and forth after you complete puzzles there is a section where you can play them again (like in collector's games)
As I said good game for beginner, took some hours for me to complete the game; not much of a brain strain though there were a couple of puzzles I skipped. If you are a beginner I would suggest that you get the game for above player if you have a coupon near expiration not a bad game to get.
I didn't pay attention to anyone who said this game missed the mark; I found it to be great, the storyline, characters, and everything else!
It has: 1--graphic were very well done and not too dark 2--cut scenes were clear and as well as the voiceovers; fit the characters (1 very sexy voice# guess who 3--HOS were not too crowded; items fit the time period and not very dark 4--yes there is a transporter map #beam me up Scotty), click on the compass; also tells you locations were you have tasks 5--Lots of locations, more than any other game I've played; new locations in bonus game as well 6--hint button fills rather quickly and it informs you what to do next 7--collectibles, which when you have a certain set, gives you background info on story 8--achievements to earn 9--you get a helper a cute bat 10--touches of romance; instead of complete darkness
I found myself skipping a lot of the mini-games just to continue on with the story; the beginning may have started out slow, but it picks up later on and you get hooked; I know I did. This game did not disappoint in any way, except I would have liked the cut scenes added to the bonus features so that I could play them again!
I thought this was going to be the usual match 3 and it is and isn't. I guess I have been playing to many HO's and adventures as I have found most match 3's boring, but this one isn't.
After collecting enough money, goods etc. you start to rebuild an empire, plus you have events to do, catch a whale, get rid of a dragon. I played the timed mode.
You have two modes, timed and relaxed, the music is not too annoying but I turned it down. You have objects to move to the bottom, sometimes more than one I did have to play a few levels again. You pick your avatar which is cool, but the game itself is more cartoonish; I would have preferred it to be more like the avatars a more realistic look (which is my only complaint). You also have trophies to win.
All in all I found it to be a bit of a challenge and will probably get this game; if you want a more relaxing you can play in the untimed mode.
Deep in the heart of an enchanted forest, a forbidden love blooms. Guide the human Eveline as she sets out to rescue her beloved from the clutches of a tyrant.
I tested the Beta and from what I remember of it there were some HO scenes, but when I tried the demo today, it looks as if it were completely revamped so far in the demo no HOs.
They've created a new world and a new species werecats; star-crossed lovers; misguided humans; and a cute dragon helper (hint# which you can recharge along the way with fireballs.
There are cutscenes where the lips do not move but that is not too annoying; for the hero his voice could have been better #should be stronger sounding#; the others are ok.
Otherwise 1--great graphics; not dark but colorful 2--new world created, with different looking creatures 3--2 modes of play 4--hint dragon which you can feed 5--transporter map #beam me up Scotty# 6--diary which you can read or hear the heroine's voice; includes task list 7--make your own potions
This game has a different feel to it which some may not like; but if you are in the mood for romance then this is a buy #especially with the sale this weekend!).
Since I tried the demo I have been waiting for this game and even though they have revamped it quite a bit I will purchase this game.
I find these types of games are few and far between and are a welcome relief from the dark games they usually put out; so when one appears and on a sale weekend I strongly suggest if you are tired of the dark side go for the light; or at least give the demo a try!
I found it to be a different take on the story of Snow White (where is Prince? or does he show up later?). Could be the developers are doing their own version of the Dark Parables series.
Storyline, mom disappeared when you were 6, so you took care of your younger sister. Queen selects your sister (Elizabeth) to be her successor; kidnaps her and Big Sis comes to the rescue with the assistance of the spirit of Snow White (no Prince?).
In any case you have the following with this story:
1--great graphics and cut scenes 2--interactive map that shows where you can do/get things and transports you there (beam me up Scotty) 3--a pet you acquire so far it's a cute squirrel 4--collect coins to purchase items for your pet 5--achievements to earn 6--played in casual hint charges up fairly quickly 7--hint can point you in the direction you need to go, or points you in the scene where you need to do something 8--a few HOS, a couple of items hard to find and though not putting items together, you need to find hidden items with the HOS 9--puzzles so far were easy to accomplish; though they may get more difficult as the game progresses and you do have a skip button which is a Rose (same for hint) 10--in demo only 3 chapters appeared as well as the bonus game 11--you do have a journal, that's updated as the story progresses, it will also replay the cut scenes
Storyline maybe a bit dark, but so far the graphics are colorful and clear which is what I prefer. As I had the previous game and liked it and have 2 credits am getting it
I usually like ERS games and this one was not disappointing. Storyline, you are very ill and your sister is taking care of you when she makes a wish to save you; wicked witch appears from antique mirror and offers to cure you if your sister trades her youth and soul; your mission is to save your sister.
1--graphics were excellent 2--the world created is unusual and magical 3--you get various helpers, so far a mole, troll whose dialogue is said in rhymes, parrot and baby wolf not all stays with you long though 4--2 chapters appear so far in the SG 5--collect gold nuts for wise sayings, they may be hints to other parts of the game 6--achievements 7--hint button fills quickly played casual 8--3 modes to play in 9--magical amulet, need to find other crystals to use all its powers 10--Prince Charming or charming prince appears in beginning to help you and hopefully will reappear 11--there doesn't appear to be a map so far; and there is a bit of going back and forth, but the distance isn't great 12--HOS is a little different in that you need to find matching pairs; other puzzles appear to be easy but may get harder as the game progresses
So far I found the game to be enchanting, not dark and dreary as other games have been. After playing the hour I decided to purchase this game as the developer usually does not disappoint.
Try it you may like it! Oh dear I'm starting to rhyme, well it isn't a crime. Guess the troll rubbed off on me!
I just love these games, each one is different and interesting and BT games did not disappoint with this one. Try the free demo and you'll be hooked. The graphics are so beautifully done you'd want to jump into the screen yourself and enter their world.
--graphics, sound, cut scenes--outstanding as usual --morphing objects to collect 20 which speeds up hint --helper-----possibly --map #no Scotty to beam me up# shows areas of interest and an area where a task is to be performed --fragmented HOG, but most easy to spot --puzzles, not frustrating ones --items to collect to open parables --character items to collect on each Cinderella at the end you get the story on each of them --10 chapters plus bonus game in the CE --not quite at the end of the game a hint at a future one #not telling!!!!!!!!!!!!#
I was going to wait until the weekend to see if they would have a sale for Memorial Day weekend, but I just couldn't wait #I have all the other DP games) so I broke down and got it.
Try it you'll like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd like to see what Blue Tea Games would do with a really happy Fairy Tale!

I was looking forward to the end of this series; however it seems as far as the storyline goes they went the more childish route. The game also seemed too short for me.
However as far as gaming goes:
1--game modes--casual to advanced and customized 2--can even in the regular modes speed up hints and skip 3--graphics are absolutely beautiful 4--cut scenes are clear and the voice overs done well 5--fairy and owl are helpers as well as the dragon 6--hos are not too difficult and not dark at all though some are more difficult than others 7--puzzles are relatively easy, though a couple are a little harder. 8--no transporter map or achievements 9--music not bad
One complaint is that when last we saw the prince he was young, here he seemed to age 100 years (instead of the amount of time it took for Bella to be the age she is) what's up with that---doesn't make sense; but that's me.
I get the impression that they spent more time on the development part of the game rather than on the story itself; not realizing that both need to be good in order to keep the interest of gamers.
I would give this game between 3 and 3.5 because of the storyline.
A murderous figure in a red mask haunts the streets of a small French town, and the mayor needs your help to track him down. But you soon discover that the mysterious Red Masque might not be the real criminal…

I did have to use the SG (which I found had some errors) ex. lion cub listed as a tiger---hello tigers have stripes! Plus some of the instructions were out of order for example you had to do something else first in order to get the counterweight (from the fountain) which was very frustrating. This did make the game tougher than the others. Guys if you're going to include an SG please make sure it is correct!!!
Good things graphics voice overs very good interactive map (beam me up scotty# storyline very good achievements kitty you get and items you collect for her HOS different types, list and shadow outlines can have 2 different endings you make judgments who is guilty
Not so good on map no listing of things to do in areas, only pictures of where you want to go #otherwise too much back and forth#
HOS shadow outlines, are too small/unclear making it difficult to define items you are looking for #you'll need light and a magnifying glass#
movies a bit grainy and D's voice and face is completely different in the movies than in the rest of the game---consistency guys!!!!
I found this game to be a lot tougher than the others #some of which was due to the errors in the SG), but I finally finished and did enjoy the time and am very happy with it so I will recommend this game.
