Developers listened to everyone's comments and toned it down to a challenging level instead of an Insane level where one couldn't obtain 3 Stars even after a dozen tries.
They also added some cute new additions, such as man-eating plants, and a few new types of buildings, etc.
Storyline is still cute. Graphics are excellent. Untimed, Timed, and Timed with Multi-click options still there. Great replay. Good game mechanics.
Level of challenge does increase as one progresses through the game. This is as it should be IMHO. The difference here is that one can attain 3 Stars on all levels. It may take 3 or more times to figure it out; however, that is part of the enjoyment for me. I like a challenge, just not an Insane level of challenge where it is more frustrating than it's worth. Meaning playing a level 10 times and still not being able to get more than 2 stars. Again, for those who enjoy an Insane level, perhaps they could add a HARD level along with the easy (untimed), and intermediate (timed and timed with click ahead). This would satisfy everyone.
Differences between CE & Standard addition are Wallpapers, Stickers, Collectibles, a Walk Thru, etc.
As I wrote in the CE edition, please give the Developers 3 GOLD Stars for listening to their players and their comments. It is evident to me that this is what they did. Thank you!!! Great job!!!
Very enjoyable!! Hope there is another to the Series.

Finally, the Developer's got it!!
Toned down all the "making multiple steps" products to a reasonable amount. Still multiple steps, but not 50 million of them.
Also reduced the ridiculous level of hardness. True one must play some of the levels multiple times to figure out how to get 3 Stars, but it is attainable. I had to play one level 4 times; however, this was past the halfway mark. Most I only had to play 2-3 times, and they were well into the game, not after the 10th level. To me, this is a great level of challenge. Don't want to cruise through a game getting 3 Stars the first time every time.
Honestly, I almost didn't buy this one due to the distaste and frustration of the first 2. Although the 2nd was better. Glad I did.
As with the first 2, graphics are very nice. Storyline is cute. Replay is good. Game mechanics are also good. Love the multi-click. Will rarely play a TM game without this.
For those of you who liked the Insane Level of Challenge, they could always add a Hard level of Play to the Easy (untimed) and intermediate (timed).
I hope everyone will give the Developers 3 GOLD Stars for listening to their Players and reading their comments. The changes in the game tell me that that is just what they did.
As my title line states, this game just ISN'T fun.
I went back and picked up where I left off, replaying from the beginning again, reeeeally trying to like it.
Time Mgmt is my favorite genre and I am quite expert at it (not trying to sound conceited). I really enjoy having to employ some strategy on each level. Having to replay a level to get a good strategy is part of the enjoyment for me.
This one is just ridiculous though. I have replayed levels in excess of 5+ times and still couldn't get 3 stars. That's a bit over the top. The Developers are missing the fact that we play these for ENJOYMENT. I like there are different settings. Offers enjoyment for those who wish to play a more relaxed game, those who want some challenge, and those who want SUPER hard. This one doesn't have a middle ground. It's either no Timer or Insane hard.
I purchased this after playing only 8 Levels and am sorry I did.
To be fair, I went back to some levels, counted every single material needed and then replayed. This took me 3 times to get 3 Stars!! Sooo, one can attain 3 Stars . . . it's simply too painful and TOO much effort in my opinion. Part of this is because some of the buildings/items are SOOO far away that it takes the characters FOREVER to collect them, all the while, the timer is ticking down. It's just NOT FUN.
On a positive note: Cute storyline. Nice graphics. A great concept. Just needs to be toned down with a middle level of play as I stated above.
I'm sorry to say this is the first TM game EVER, that I will not finish. I'm just bored with it, as Expert Achievement isn't attainable for a good majority of us. (I was wondering what I was missing, until I read everyone's reviews).
Aside: If you don't mind not getting 3 Stars, go for it. You'll probably like it.
For me . . ., I'm done.
Unfortunately, I bought the 2nd one as well. We'll see how that goes. Hopefully, the Developers took all the valuable comments of the players on this game, and toned it down a bit. Doesn't sound like it though, from reading reviews in that Forum.
I really like the games from the Developer. Have a ton of them. This one really disappoints
I do NOT recommend this game even for some Expert Level players.

At first, I really didn't like this Series. I found the controls a tad clunky. However . . ., I have gotten used to them. Still could use a little fine tuning though. What I mean by this, is that when attempting to fill in a bunch of grids at a time, the mouse sometimes jumps and wipes out the highlight. It's too sensitive. If no one else is having this issue, I'll assume it is just me. Not the end of the world, but does get annoying after the third attempt.
On to the positives: The colors are beautiful. The graphics are easy on the eyes. The storyline is cute.
As there are always ways to improve most things, I would ask that the Developers ensure each puzzle can be "logically" solved. I've noticed that towards the end of each game in the series, that there are more "guessing" levels. I like to "solve", not "guess".
Still, it is an enjoyable and relaxing way to spend some time.
I do enjoy these and hope they continue on with them.
After reading the comments of the other reviewers, quite frankly, I cannot imagine why 4 & 5 stars were given. I'm guessing due to sentimentality for the Emily series.
This game was exceedingly cumbersome, and as another reviewer noted, painful to play. The "drag and drop" was ridiculous. Not to mention having to click arrows between one section of the plane and another!! I read that in the first review, but . . . decided to give it a try.
One plays for enjoyment, not to have one's hand cramping in pain after only a few levels. Even if my "not so young" hands could have endured this . . . the fact that items interfere with the ability to restock inventory, was the final straw.
This reinforces my opinion that this game was not well thought out OR tested.
Won't even comment on the CE status . . . really??!!
Wow!! The Developers REALLY missed the mark with this one. Absolutely Horrible! I hope they read everyone's valuable feedback.

I have played all the games in the Series, and this one doesn't disappoint.
Great replay, fantastic graphics, fun soundtrack, interesting challenges, cute storyline.
Not sure why all the comments about Paige being a brat?? There is more conversation centered on her in this one. A little too much, but nothing to ruin the game. You can Skip these for all but the first level of a location.
I also read some reviews that said you couldn't choose items in the Store, that they were selected for you. Not true. You may choose as you wish.
Haven't reached the end yet, so I don't know if there are fireworks. Hope so.
Great job to the Developers!! Please keep 'em coming!!

Some of the backgrounds on the puzzles, especially later in the game, made it waaay too hard to see where to place pieces.
The real life photos compounded with the dark backgrounds, truly ruined the game for me. After looking at extremely detailed subject matter all day at work, adding strain to my eyes when I'm trying to relax, isn't a good thing
I believe this is the game where you don't have to continuously hold the mouse button. I was switching between one that did and one that didn't. Not having to hold it, is a very good option.
I have enjoyed other games by this Developer. This one though, just wasn't good for me. Might be fine for younger eyes. Try it and see for yourself

Because I have enjoyed other games in the Series, I'll be a little forgiving.
Nice graphics, good storyline, don't listen to music, somewhat easy challenge level.
Only issue is that the instructions for a few of the mini-games were absolutely horrible! Didn't make any sense. Might be a language translation issue? This is not the first time this has occurred in this Series. Since the Credits show Beta Testers, perhaps they should also pay attention to the Mini Games Instructions??!! I don't enjoy skipping Puzzles because of poor instructions.
Even with the above, it was enjoyable.
Length was good. Not too short, but also didn't drag on forever.

A very enjoyable TM game, along the lines of Diner Dash. Good controls, excellent storyline, nice upgrades available. Clear, crisp graphics. The animation is fantastic. Good replay as well.
The pups all have different personalities, as do their owners. If you leave a pup too long, it begins to growl and then howl. If it's happy, it expresses that too. Super cute.
I enjoyed this game sooo much, that I have actually played it more than 4 times. Depending on which pooch you choose, you get a different litter at the end ;)
It is a good play for everyone, and for pretty much every experience level.
I would love to see a sequel to this. It truly is a Hidden Gem!!
