I have loved all the Grim Tales series, each one gets better and better and this latest one is no exception. Loved the morphing HOP scenes and the collectibles not always that easy to find and you had to be alert to find all the puzzle pieces. Story was good, not the usual kidnapped girl and all black smoking monsters. I really liked having to travel back and forth in time. This game is a must for all us Hidden Object nuts. Very enjoyable. I don't often play games twice but I will this one again.
All I can say is that I thorougherly enjoyed playing this game as the makers have taken the hidden object formula to the next level and instead of the same old, same old, the game play was more exciting with a different feel to it. The graphics are brilliant and the storyline, a good twist on Alice in Wonderland with no twee-ness to it. If I do have any critiscm then the morphing objects and collectibles were far too easy and also made easier when we are told how many collectibles we have to found on any page when it's more challenging when we don't know.
I really like this game. It appears to be the sort we first got years ago as it has an old fashion look to it but it's different and I found it somewhat of a challenge. For any of you hidden object/adventure addicts like I am then this is worth buying. I would have given it a 5 star but there are no added extra's with this e.g. no morphing objects or collectables which I have to say sometimes detract from the game play and there is no map which sometimes aids the player too much telling you where to go next when you are stuck and you can't be bothered to figure it out yourself. Very enjoyable.
This game has got to be my favourite that I've played for a long long time. I cannot understand how it's not in the top ten, or even number one. Please please can we have more of this great quality. I am a huge fan of Mystery Case Files but since they have been bought over the standard of them had grossly slipped until this new one that came out, Ravenhurst Unlocked, which I am partway through and is very reminiscent of the original Ravenhurst games but this game beats even that in my view. A must must must for Hidden Object/Adventure players
This is a good game, I really enjoyed it. Okay so it doesn't task you greatly but very enjoyable and different. Worth more than three stars that some have given it.
I thought this was a kids game when I first trialed it but it's not at all. It's significantly different from the usual same old same old HOP games and I didn't get bored at all. Would recommend this game. Liked it very much
Really really enjoyed this game. The makers have put a lot of effort into making it more superior than other games out recently that have just been the same old game play and uninteresting storyline involving spiralling black smoke and wicked witches. Let's hope this continues and we get challenging and interesting games to play in future and not the same variation on a theme.
This game is great. It was only by chance I saw it so glad I did. Very reminiscent to me of the early Mystery Case Files games that were my favourite. Good length and kept me entertained for hours. Can't really find any fault as it is right up my street. Please can we have more of these types.
I really like this game. Not always easy to work out where to go next or what to do. Good level of challenge So glad I bought this. Good length as well. Actually haven't finished it yet. Can't understand anyone who has played this and given it less than four stars.
I was really excited, thought oh, good something different for a change. It's different alright. I've put the challenge as high because it's nigh on impossible to play. After 30 mins of play I managed to put a couple of things on the map and book in the drawer. I read the forums and others who have tried to play this game suffered the same as me. Unless of course we are all thick!!!
