I never played a game based on a real tv show so I didn't know what to expect. I was rather pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the storyline where the murders were based on novels and the whole layout of the game.
The mini-games were fun and diverse. The graphics were extremely clear and bright. Overall, it was a very relaxing game to play and I would definitely buy another one like it.

I knew from the minute I started to play the trial version of this game I had to buy it. The storyline with the songbirds, Phoenix Queen and others was so interesting that you really get caught up in it. The mini-games are fun and the graphics are so beautiful and clever that you just want to look at everything. The only mini-game I didn't enjoy was the weather dial thing. Couldn't complete it so I just used the Skip option after trying for 5 minutes. I like the way the Bonue game ended the continuing saga. I can't wait for the next installment!

I have played all of the Grim Tales games and I have really loved all of them. This Collector's Edition does not disappoint. I love the map feature which allows you to instantly travel from scene to scene without having to arrow up and down constantly trying to locate a place.
The storyline of this game was really interesting and the mini-games were fun to play. I like the way they are continuing the story with Brandon. The characters are extremely unique and well thought out. Great graphics! Grim Tales never fails to please.

I really enjoyed this particular series edition because it got away from the really intense dark themes of the previous game in the series, which made me regret that purchase.
Nothing has come close to the exciting first Puppetshow game but this one comes in second. The storyline in this game still follows the original game.

I purchased the collector's edition of this game. I enjoyed the concept of jumping into the novels and playing that part of the game and jumping back to the present and continuing to play. I think that idea could be expanded into really interesting future games.
I liked the Romeo and Juliet theme of this game and the bonus game didn't disappoint.
'Dark' is the operative word here. In as much as the graphics of this game were superb [as are most Blue Tea Games], it wasn't enough to overlook the theme of the game.
Just because the word Dark is in the title doesn't necessary mean the whole game will have a dark theme, it may be just a character in it. Not so with this game. I just didn't enjoy the storyline at all and because of that it wasn't fun for me. I couldn't wait for the game to finish so I could play something else.
If you are someone who doesn't care about dark themes then you would definitely enjoy the game as it has all of the great mini-games and bonus play features we enjoy.

So many of these types of games have similar themes to them. Good vs. evil, potions and witchcraft themes. Fun to play but it would be nice to see some some new concepts. I like the princess/kingdom storylines, but some of the themes become alittle too dark art for me.
What I loved about this game were the mini-games. They were more animated and not just your typical hidden object stuff. Really fun to play and figure out. The graphics were also superior.
Overall, I liked this game a lot and thought it was a good purchase.

As soon as I started to play this game, I knew immediately I was going to love it. Nothing attracts me more than crisp, beautiful color graphics and a fairy tale theme. Detective Quest: The Crystal Slipper does not disappoint.
The game did not take too long to play but it was still well worth the money. You also get the great Bonus play which adds to the storyline and play time.
Of course, this is a take-off of the classic Cinderella with a girl named Isabella. Instead of 3 ugly step sisters, Isabella lives with her beloved, protective father. In this story, she and the Prince already had their famous dance and he is in love with her but can't find her. Evil comes in the form of a man who wants to take the throne away from the rightful heirs.
I highly recommend this game! Lot's of relaxing fun.

I purchased this game on the reviews alone. I wasn't disappointed. Boomzap is noted for their beautiful imagery that is a dream to play. This game is no exception as many reviews will tell you.
This is not a difficult game, but one that is relaxing and fun to play. The story of Ellie walking in the footsteps of her scientist father is an interesting one. She tries to find out what has happened to him and this leads her into an adventure of her own.
In the Collector Edition you get to play the bonus 'Epilogue' game and this very nicely brings you to a conclusion only satisfied by a future Botanica game!

This game was a lot of fun to play. It was slightly predictable but it had some surprises that kept you interested throughout the entire game. I purchased the collector's edition which had the usual bonus game to play. This too was well thought out and added to the mystery of the Four Aces plot.
Overall, a great game. I like the fact that it didn't take too long to travel from one place to another and it was fun collecting coins to buy items for Elfie, the dog.
