I am just beginning to get into the Nancy Drew games. My first purchase was Nancy Drew's Shadow At The Water's Edge which was one of the best games of this sort I've ever played. This game, The Haunted Carousel, was not quite as complex, but very enjoyable to play.
The only thing I did not like is that you were not able to skip the puzzles, you had to do all of them in order to move on. One of the arcade games I hated was the Barnacle game because I am not very good at the shoot-the-targets kind of games using my arrow buttons. Could have pulled my hair out on that one!
Overall, this is a wonderful game to play. I just wish they offered more Trial Games with the Nancy Drew series.
This is one of those games you can't wait to play. It is not as challenging as some games but it is a lot of fun and the graphics are incredibly beautiful. I would buy this type of game over and over.
I love games that take you on location to beautiful, scenic destinations like this one in Italy! It draws you into the action more easily and you are excited to see where you'll be taken next. The game play flowed nicely from place to place, the puzzles were challenging and the outcome did not leave you hanging.
I am really attracted to games with beautiful graphics and fantasy concepts. This game fits that bill as you help Anna save all of the animal guardians of the cloud city! This game was relaxing but challenging as well. The bonus game called Zem is real addicting! You'll love it.
I am a big fan of the Mystery Case Files games and the 13th Skull was no exception. This was a little darker of a game than I usually purchase, but it was still a great adventure, and a great game to play. You really get caught up in the mystery. You will love the graphics and Louisana locations.
The Awakening series are great, relaxing games. They are not as complicated as some games, but you will thoroughly enjoy playing this one from beginning to end. The puzzles are fun and you get to go from one beautiful scene to the next as you encounter some interesting characters.
I absolutely loved this game! The graphics were fabulous and you really felt like you were there in Japan. Even though it is a murder mystery type, there is a lot of fun elements to this game, like riding the train, playing arcade games and helping the one character prepare 'Bento' food packages-a puzzle. I really didn't want this game to end but it had a satisfying conclusion.
I started to love these types of games after playing the Syberia series. The Art of Murder series is just as interesting to play as you become agent Nicole Bonnet and solve the murders. You get a unique opportunity to think like an agent and use FBI type crime lab equipment. The graphics were great and in each location you felt you were a part of it. Mystery/adventure games have their challenges to solve, but that is also what makes them great to play!
You never know how sequels will measure up to the originals, but with Syberia II, it went beyond my expectations! The Syberia series are great, long games and you get caught up in the adventures of Kate Walker. You get to travel to interesting locations and the graphics are fabulous! You may need to use a walkthrough from time to time, but this game rates as one of the best out there!
I recommend this game!

Syberia
Seek out the hidden heir to a legacy built on cities of automatons and other clever machinations.
This was the first game of this type that I played and once I did, I could hardly wait to purchase Syberia II! You will love everything about this game from the storyline to the beautiful scenery to the conclusion. You really feel like you're a part of this game and enjoy all of the places you get to visit. I just have one thing to say, "Where is Syberia 3?"
