Why is this even in the Top 100 games? I sign on and immediately this so-called F2P game wants me to buy junk. How does this even compare to Mystery Case Files games that stay (or used to stay) in the Top 100 games for 281 weeks?! Graphics are cheap, cartoonish and uninteresting. Music drove me bonkers. My advice? Go pay $6.99 for a game that will actually test your brain power. If I want to play blackjack, I'll go to a casino where I have a chance of making real money.
Elephant Games is always outstanding in graphics, design, originality and creativity. I could give a rat's patootie about the story because I'm in it for the adventure, puzzles and level of challenge. I like the complex, multi-step puzzles that pick my brain.
I know, I know the level of challenge wasn't hardcore, but I liked the atmosphere, ambience, and scenery, so I had a good time. You want hardcore, go play Syberia.
It's hard to keep people happy now that everyone expects morphing objects, collectibles, achievements, and a free trip to Disneyland with every Collector's Edition.
I say this was a great game and I look forward to the next one.
Like haunted house games and this was ideal with fluid gameplay and a good music score. Nice addition of Behind The Scenes in CE. Some rough translations, such as a drafting compass is called a "divider", but no worries otherwise. I was pleased enough to spend 4 hours on the CE with no regrets.
I recommend this game!

Sherlock Holmes VS Jack the Ripper
Sherlock Holmes faces off against England’s most violent and mysterious killer in this thrilling Hidden Object adventure game!
This isn't an iHOG, it's an LFA with a high level of difficulty, but I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. The environment, the characters, the premise and story are all very believable. If you like non-linear games you'll enjoy it. If you like sparkles and hand-holding, you'll be frustrated. Still, it's very worthwhile to try something new if you're not accustomed to it.
