Now that you know the storyline, this is not a bad solitaire game. Classic solitaire, my favorite. But, again, the background music is painful. I could only play for half an hour before I wanted to mute and forget. Graphics are bright and clean. Too bad a good game got ruined by minor missteps

This game needed something, like some funny VOs, to make it more entertaining. Instead you have to read a French accent, while listening to corny French music. It's a M3 with a little TM thrown in. Not even fun enough for me to finish the demo.
I really didn't get this game. It is one of those okay games, but you have to wonder if it is worth the money. Graphics and sound are decent, some of the puzzles are fairly good, somehow though, I got bored. I didn't see the point of the "area scan", that was a lame part of the game. Also, the storyline was dumb and boring. I played the demo of both SE and CE versions, I might get the SE, maybe if there is nothing else out there for a while. CE is not worth it for a few morphies and more of that boring storyline.
This is a very, very pretty game. A definite buy for me, although I haven't quite decided between CE and SE. Apparently there is a bonus chapter, so I'm leaning towards longer gameplay with this one. The HOS are filled with interactive objects and finish with a riddle (love it). Some of the puzzles/mini-games are confusing and weird, but most of them are entertaining. Like I said before, graphics are super pretty and VOs are better than most of the games out there. Background music is good, not great, but not annoying. This is a great game to relax to.
Well, this won't be the first time that I disagree with other reviewers. I thought this game was excellent. The HOSs (not too many, in my opinion) usually progress to a multi-step or a riddle to solve. The mini-games were not that difficult but acceptable, and some of them were action-based. There is the circular wheel of inventory, but that adds a new level of puzzle to the game ,which I like. Amazing , and sometimes fairly realistic, graphics, and really great VOs. No pretty boys or gorgeous women with their bossoms hanging out, thank goodness and finally. I had no issues with loading or glitches. Gameplay was smooth and I am definitely buying this game today. I haven't seen too much from Cateia Games lately, but this one is top-notch...Next stop > Portonero.
Even though this is a HOG, it had the feeling of an adventure game. Lots of puzzles and the HOS were interactive and multi-step. I am opting for the CE of this game, because I liked it so much, but the SE isn't all that different. Great graphics, and background music and VOs were well done. I do have to add that I played the CE in Hardcore mode and the SE in advanced and didn't notice the puzzles nor minigames being more or less difficult, so that was the only minus to a terrifically fun game.

The only thing this game could've had going for it is the sound and visual quality. The background musak was so awful it actually gave me a headache. It reminded me a little bit of something I might hear in the elevator of a government building, enough said. The pictures were nice, bright, and cheerful, but 160 pics of birds?!? UGH! The birds were even in the sections titled humans, animals, and maybe somewhwere else too. The Waterworld one had mostly shells, of every size and color (yawn). Kill the musak, and maybe the bird theme, add some ambient sound and a section with architecture and/or seasons, and this game wouldn't suck. I did like the landscape and animals sections.

It would seem that unless a game plays itself for you, people are apt to dislike it. I, on the other hand, really enjoyed this game. You have to figure out where to go and what to do in the adventure part of the game. The HOS were simplistic, but even there you have to use your brain to open or uncover items to find things from the list. Yes, there are no VOs, but then, we all learned to read in grade school (hopefully). Yes, there is no hand holding or annoying hints to constantly guide your way. This is a game for anyone who wants some challenge. In fact, you have to buy hints. I liked the way this game looks, the graphics were simple, but very good and believable. Google it, people. I hope the devs of this game completely ignore the negative reviews, because not all of us want cookie cutter games everyday of the week.

M3 with a little bit of TM, yet done with painfully and horribly bad graphics and VOs. The background music was reminiscent of 1970's musak. UGH! I might have nightmares because of this game.
