This is a really fun game and puzzles that challenge you but you can still have sip of wine while playing. The storyline is good and in each scene you have to find 2 objects (one morphing) and a puzzle piece. I like the old fashion type graphics. I do not understand the negative reviews. Try it for yourself...enjoy!!
I recommend this game!

I like these types of games aa they are just plain relaxing fun. It has puzzles in between each scene and along with the standard HOS scenes you also need to find 3 hearts, 3 dogs, a morphing object and a gold coin. I have bought other games by this same developer and really enjoy them. The storyline is immaterial but the graphics are great (large) and colorful and I like you can play on a smaller laptop screen as well as a full PC screen. Give it a try if you like HOS games!

This is based on the demo and I have purchased the game. I thought the fairy storyline would not interest me but it is actually a good story. The graphics are excellent (that includes colors and voice overs). My complaints are the same old same old for the gadgets to complete tasks. Can't you PLEASE come up with something beside spraying insects, using buttons, coins, etc. to take off screws and feeding or finding toys for animals...to name a few examples. Come on...make this game worth the effort you put into the graphics, storyline and some of the puzzles...you are so close!! I am still going to recommend the game but you could do better. Also make the extra items to find a bit more challenging. I do like that you have 3 different types of objects to find! I would like more items added for achievements besides how long it takes to solve an HOS or a puzzle. It could use some improvement as well.
I recommend this game!

I loved this series but the last few I did not purchase. I think this one is a good game based on the demo I have purchased it. I like the storyline, art work and the puzzles so far are fun. Also glad they brought the fact cards back. I do admit I get tired of many of the same things such as the dog toy, building a ladder, etc. I wish they could come up with some new ideas, with that said I am still enjoying the game. Try it, hopefully you will enjoy it too! I don't understand some of the really negative reviews...to each their own.

This is based on the demo. The storyline kept my interest. Enjoy the puzzles...not too hard but not overly easy for the most part. Items to collect in each scene. Art work is great. I bought the game. Try it for yourself but personally I highly recommend it.

It is very rare that I couldn't even get through the demo. I am so tired of everything being so overly easy and everything is the same with the few developers left at Big Fish. As some others have written lately how often do you need a coin, fire flies, etc. I have been a BF member since June of 2009 and am considering quitting the club. What is the point of BOGO when I cannot even find one game to buy no less two! Get some new blood from some other developers. The last really good game was last year "Lost Lands Redemption CE" as far as imagination (yes the son was a bit irritating but still loved the story and concept). I use to pay full price for some games like Hidden Expedition series as I was so anxious to play them and the last several I didn't even bother to buy. I tired to play them and they were terrible.
Big Fish - Have your developers stop using the same cookie cutter gadgets and find some new blood or you are going to loose a long time customer.

As some have mentioned it was an immediate buy for me. I do think they should rethink the CE price in the future though. I love playing the games in this series. I haven't finished it yet but if you've bought others in the series you know what to expect, for others who have not this is a true HOS game with some puzzles thrown in. Love the stories.
Side Note to Developers: PLEASE quit having us load these old MS Visual C++ versions. This one has 2012 & 2015 versions. I've mentioned this on every review and are at the point I will not buy these in the future if this cannot be fixed as it always seems to cause issues later. PLEASE fix this.

I am not one for this type of genre and normally enjoy games with more of a challenge, but this is so well done with a great storyline that I am just enjoying it for what it is. Sit back have a glass of wine and enjoy playing. cheers!

Excellent game based on the demo. I am buying it. Like the story, items to collect, great graphics... just a good, fun all around game. Based on the key reviewer who submitted their review earlier today (1/7) I won't repeat what theyve already said but agree with them.

What a great, enjoyable and well done game. Can't wait to continue playing it. Had to buy it! Happy Holidays and watch out for Fritz and the Nutcracker.
