As some have mentioned it was an immediate buy for me. I do think they should rethink the CE price in the future though. I love playing the games in this series. I haven't finished it yet but if you've bought others in the series you know what to expect, for others who have not this is a true HOS game with some puzzles thrown in. Love the stories.
Side Note to Developers: PLEASE quit having us load these old MS Visual C++ versions. This one has 2012 & 2015 versions. I've mentioned this on every review and are at the point I will not buy these in the future if this cannot be fixed as it always seems to cause issues later. PLEASE fix this.

I am not one for this type of genre and normally enjoy games with more of a challenge, but this is so well done with a great storyline that I am just enjoying it for what it is. Sit back have a glass of wine and enjoy playing. cheers!

Excellent game based on the demo. I am buying it. Like the story, items to collect, great graphics... just a good, fun all around game. Based on the key reviewer who submitted their review earlier today (1/7) I won't repeat what theyve already said but agree with them.
I recommend this game!

What a great, enjoyable and well done game. Can't wait to continue playing it. Had to buy it! Happy Holidays and watch out for Fritz and the Nutcracker.

I really wanted to buy this game and it is a beautifully done game but gave it 3 stars and will not buy it based on demo. The developers did not include a way to let the user know which of the 3 types of collectable items are contained in a scene and if you've collected them. I am tired of games where I have to manually keep track and no clue when all 3 are contained in a scene. It's not designated on the map either. If that doesn't bother you then please try the game.
I don't recommend this game.
Explore a fascinating world, save a werewolf and defeat cruel witches in this amazing hidden object adventure!

What a fantastic game. The visual/graphics is excellent and continues through the bonus game. Like how the bonus game tied into the main game. Excellent puzzles (well thought out & challenging yet entertaining) and great HOS. The story line is great and kept my interest. I can see why this game has such high ratings. Highly recommend this game!! As a side note if you are not into fantasy don't be turned off give it chance by playing the demo. Not my usual genre either but in my opinion you will not be disappointed.

The story seemed intriguing but I am tired of trying to remember if I found the morphing object or is there a puzzle or figurine piece to find. It doesn't show you on the game or map. Also the graphics were just so so and the characters not very life like so for me it just didn't work for the cost. Try it for yourself and decide as this game has a lot of good reviews.
I don't recommend this game.

Normally I do not care for horror type games but this one is really good. The story line is interesting with a twist at the end of the main game. It has great atmosphere. The hidden object games are challenging including the morphing objects in both the HOS & in each scene of the game. Enjoyed the puzzle games they were different and fun to play. I played the trial first and within minutes I knew I would buy the game!
I recommend this game!
An intruder’s puzzling calling-card means certain doom for the Holmes family line!

This is a fun game not overly challenging and has a good story line. On the map it shows if you have all the puzzle pieces but not the morphing objects, wish they did both. In some of the scenes there is also collectables. Most puzzles are fairly easy so it is a relaxing game to play. The bonus game the graphics is not as good as the regular game and as others have mentioned it is a bit shorter than others but I still really enjoyed it. Nice game to have some challenge but still relax.
I recommend this game!

I have been a Big Fish Member since June 2009 and played a lot of fun and thoughtful games but this is the best game I've ever played. It's well done, challenging and fun!!!
Pros:
1.Thoughtful well done puzzles! Really Challenging in a fun way.
2. Graphics and the way characters move is a cut above. Sometimes games start with great graphics but then cheapens in the middle of the game. This game does not, great graphics from beginning to end.
3. Thoughtful interesting story line that makes sense in a fantasy world. I didn't find it 'wordy' as some users complained.
4. Morph and other objects are challenging to find. Not just obvious that starts making finding them meaningless.
5. I saw a few reviews complain you didn't know what to do in the puzzles. Somewhat true but I managed to figure them all out without using the strategy guide. They are really inventive. I like being challenged sometimes!
Cons
1. A few areas if not done in a specific sequence can be confusing. The one in particular is when you have to use the knife with the hydraulic hose. I consider this a minor bug. This happens very rarely.
2. Have to make a few notes but easy to go back and find the right sequence in your journal or other notes.
3. Although the map provides if you have found the morph objects and collection items I prefer you don't have to keep looking at the map to verify.
4. Very few traditional HOP (HOS).
