I did not bother playing this game for more than 30 minutes. It really sends you back in time - initially I thought it was developed for MSDOS based computers because its graphics simply looks awful. It is so fuzzy so that you cannot simply see anything. Even the cursor looks oversized and it does not blend into scenery. Storyline is very average featuring nothing new but old back-and-forth gameplay. HOS scenes are very foggy also. At the end of the 30 minute gameplay I simply fell asleep in front of the computer. Dah.
A famous actor has literally stepped off the screen to kidnap your niece. Now you must find a way into the dangerous and exciting world of the film to save her!
This is the easiest game in the series. I have completed the main game + bonus chapter under 3 hours in hard mode. The gameplay is very trivial featuring excellent graphics and sound fx. The storyline is somewhat artificial and boring to certain extend. It does not develop as fast as you want it to develop so you can pretty much predict what it is going to happen at the final scene right from the beginning. I think Reel Life CE had a lot of potential but it does not bring the excitement level that you expect it to bring in all aspects of its gameplay. Its predecessors were so much better fun. Finally, it is completely pointless to collect bonus flowers. 160 flowers to be able to watch 3 short movies is something that pushes you over the cliff as well as "Finish one HOS in more than 10 minutes" award.

Just played this game again. It is truly a stunning experience. The gameplay is tough, the storyline keeps you engaged till the end and puzzles are complicated. I completed the game in hard mode in 4 hours but quite honestly I was a few times.
This game is not done right. It features poor quality in all aspects of its play. Graphics takes you back to 1998 - objects are poorly cut and then embedded into the background. You can pretty much see the edges of all active objects. The puzzles were OK - nothing special. Storyline had some value but it develops very slowly. At the end, the morphing objects can simply drive you away from this game. Either too small or too big.
This is not the first game in the series, it took me by surprise that the developer was just unable to do it properly.

This game is trivial and short. You can complete it under two hours in the hardest mode. It does not feature anything new and exactly replicating the Haunted Halls storyline. Haunted Halls was so much better though. Here graphics was OK, scenes seemed to be poorly designed and looked empty. Puzzles were trivial. I did not play bonus chapter knowing it would have been the same boring experience.

The nutcracker game was so much better - this one has a very slow gameplay and very easy walkthrough. I did not bother playing the bonus chapter. The storyline was very odd. Not a Christmas gift for sure!
This is a perfect game for beginners. I found it a bit annoying at the end because it does not feature anything new but locks and keys of all kinds of shapes. The story line is average, pretty good for new kids on the block.

This game does not feature anything new but old school of playing. Graphics is so so, it is not even 16:9 ratio, music does not quite fit to the scenery. Gameplay is very boring and slow. HOS objects are very small. I did not find it interesting at all and deleted the game after 45 minutes of playing.
