I wanted to love this game and it had a great potential. Very challenging in the beginning but down the path it turns to a complete annoyance and map travelling walk around want to be travelling. I did not bother to play the bonus chapter since I had enough with the primary game plot. This game does not feature anything new but small objects in the HOs and morphing silhouettes that are pretty much impossible to find. B- is a fair rating. Better than average but truly not ideal.

This game is very good for beginners, the storyline is OK and does not seem as engaging as in other series. I have completed the game under 2 hours in the hardest mode. Pretty linear but still fun to play.

Absolutely stunning game that keeps you engaged throughout the entire gameplay. It is built on a new engine that gives you native 16:9 and makes you feel very entertained.

I wanted to love this game but I simply could not. It is endless back and forth to find keys and put them into right locks. The only thing you should memorize is where the locks are. Then prepare to solve sluggish puzzles that open doors to more locks. I tried to play to the end of CE but reached certain point where I could not deal with the storyline anymore or the gameplay.
I am giving this game a B because graphics and sound FX are amazing as always. But I am willing to compromise quality for a super engaging storyline like Dire Grove.

This game does not feature anything new but total frustration. It is very slow, puzzles are dull. Storyline is not engaging. You should really avoid this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I treat this chapter in the series as a nice try out. Every once in while it is good to try something new to see how public reacts to it. I am talking about the new era of clicking. Basically as you move forward new objects that used to be "unclickable" become "clickable". This is an OK idea but if you ever play in the hard mode what that really means for you is that each scene you come back to, you have to click through all over again to find new objects you can act on. This is impossible and boring.
Pros:
- Amazing graphics
- Nice HOSes
- Good storyline
Cons:
- Disabled objects in scenes become enabled as you proceed forward
- No music and very low background sound
- Too much of everything relatively the same - puzzle pieces are pretty much the same - it is just the matter where you plug those to
- Game crashed on me 4 times on Windows 8 64-bit with all the updates in place
Eerie music fills the air in Vienna, where shadows terrorize people in the streets. Two musical prodigies have gone missing. Can you save them without striking a single false note?
This is an OK game that I have completed under 2 (!!) hours in hard mode. I think it is the simplest in the series and will be ideal for begginers. It is too linear and too short. I started at 7pm and finished it at 9.10pm including the bonus chapter. The storyline is OK but too slow and sluggish. Graphics and sound are amazing but the fun factor somehow disappeared after 20 mins of playing.
This is an average game with a simple plain gameplay. It does not really feature anything new. The storyline felt very artificial and farfetched. The entire gameplay is about finding locks of all kinds of shapes and putting them into right places to unlock even more keys for other locks of other shapes. HOSes are simple but impossible to find in the expert mode because they do not sparkle and you have to simply click back and forth to find where they are. Very trivial game that takes you back to 2009 with all its features.
