This was an excellent game. It was very clever and had lots of fun mechanics. However it wasn't so difficult that the average mechanic wanna-be couldn't accomplish anything.
It was totally fun from a to z.
I recommend this game!

PuppetShow: The Face of Humanity
The mayor's daughter is missing and you must find her!
I have all the Puppet Show Games as far as I know, and they are some of my favorite games. It is like a holiday when a new one comes out.
I even love the music which is amazing since #1 I usually only tolerate the game music or not, and #2 I don't really like 'classical' music. However Puppet Show is just enchanting and the music is one of my favorite things about it.
HOWEVER, Puppet Show is really losing its edge somehow - with this one I notice how short it is compared to the original Puppet Show games.
Even more concerning, somehow there is just a lack of drama and intricate mechanical contraptions (art) to the last couple.
Although I am glad his appearance was limited I love to hate the spider puppet so I am glad he wasn't obliterated completely.. He is just so despicable. True to form, he never has one redeeming quality. Perfect Villain.
Anyway Puppet People please get your Mojo working again. xoxoxo
I liked this game - although I have only played the CE and SE demos I had fun both times and may buy the SE when I am looking for something to do.
I am particularly susceptible to stormy weather and find few things more invigorating in real life. (scary dangerous too). I thought the developers did a great job of demonstrating with both audio and visual, a really exciting storm.
After being contacted by a secret organization of elite mystery solvers, you're sent out in the field to prove your skills. This job interview may be your last!
This was a well-done game and I enjoyed playing the SE a few times after purchasing it.
However as I sometimes experience, there are really insufficient/too vague instructions for the mini games. In some cases it was as if they didn't even work.
No amount of clicking, dragging, etc ever made them move in any direction. So it was a two-fer-bummer = no instructions and then no response.
Adding insult to injury was a huge wait time for [Skip] - over a minute in most cases for the same mini games I couldn't do anything with.
I really think this game should be up for an award. There has been a lot of great games lately but this one stands out from the pack even of the greats.
It is ironic that I almost didn't even finish the trial because I got frustrated in the maze - but then (hello remember walk thrus?) I reinstalled it and with a little help I got through and came to realized how far out this game really is, so I bought the standard version.
Everything about it was just awesome and I loved the way that it played with you and made you reason things out -- for example @ parts where there is no skipping available, I realized I am doing this over and over and nothing is changing. How can I get out of this? Then I finally realized I was missing something, fixed it finally moved ahead! Duh!
Let's see more from these geniuses please (developers and artists) - man I would love to see how their minds work. Just fascinating.
