I can't believe I am saying this. I will admit. I was leaning away from the awakening games til I gave this one a chance. I had to say, It's not a bad game as most people stated. Actually, the game is quite decent, and maybe healthy competition to "Found". However, I believe it's not a 5 star game. Here's why-
Storyline:
This one gave me some confusion a bit to understand the placement in this game. It seems this takes place after she traveled off which would make sense before the 5th game : Sunhook Spire. In that perspective, you are safe to assume this is not the 6th game, but like a branch of the major series. Instead of being Sophia, you are her unknown steward, and she gave you a task...... "Fix my broken down kingdom." So get prepared to play Awakening Kingdom: Kingdom restoration Project to say the least. I had to say the story was more decent than found, but what about Visual?
Visual Quality:
The Visuals is the same old same old style. I am sure they are trying to get this game out quick, but I was hoping for at least a slight upgrade on the visual category. I had to say the map though was gorgeous, and probably the animated people is a bit of a step up. But If you played all the awakening games, you've seen their quality art in every game. Not much difference.
Level of Challenge:
I found this game to be pretty easy at the beginning. Found was the same way. The more you get into it, hopefully the harder it gets. However, I like this better than found because you actually have puzzle games as well, and other multiple things to do besides just the same old hidden object, collect this, and so on routine. I give it a plus for that.
Finally the Fun Factor:
I think this game is quite fun, but I bet it will have the same issue as found. You're going to run into a situation where you will run out of power. Have to wait for power to recharge to play more. By that time, you probably already found another game to buy other than spending money to recharge and such.
My final verdict is that this game is a 3 star. It's not a 5 or 4 start because it's no where near the perfection of being a highly fun game nor the improvements reflect such. However, it doesn't deserve a 2 or 1 because it is pretty decent, and the game is quite fun. Honestly, this is a 3 star game.

This is one of their better side games besides the usual blue tea epic game series we all known as Dark Parables. However, I will tell you why this game deserves your attention.
Storyline:
Basically, you start off as a festival, but not all goes well. A mysterious character known as the dark piper summoned bunches of rats to the city. Yes, I will emphasis on the rats. However, as a detective you jobs is to scoop out and find out what really happened. Overall, the story is pretty compelling, and I will say this, "There is soo many twists, but it all worked out." They really did a good job on the story.
Level of Challenge:
This game is well balanced as you progress in the game. It starts out as easy, but the puzzles and clues start to become more difficult to comprehend at times. One thing I liked that was an add on is the extra tools which they never add in other games to help you in your findings. Though they are limited, it still adds a spice to the challenge of when to use these special tools.
Visiual Quality:
Unless you are in the hidden object scenes, the game contains nothing but silence. However, the music is pretty decent in the hidden object games. If you like the music in these types of games, your not going to be as easily annoyed. Overall, a few of the sounds I did remember hearing before to be honest. I believe it was best that most of the game is silent since you are indeed traveling in an empty area.
Fun Factor:
I had to say, the combination of the mystery, the animated scenes, and the methods are very catchy. I was pretty much hooked til the end of the game. I was also caught off guard by one of the twists as well which like I said does add some spice.
In the end, I would recommend this game. This definitely suits more of the adult and teen players. I wouldn't advise it for anyone under because the game is overall pretty dark and scary especially the rats. I mean they probably could, but I wouldn't let them play it like at night. In the end, the game is awesome to try.

Because the farther I play through this game... I feel less like I was in a dream and more into a creepy Nightmare. However, the game is pretty descent.
Storyline:
Not much to tell. Your husband got kidnapped by a dream fairy, and you got to save him. You get stuck in a fantasy world around your house. That's pretty much what keeps you moving. However, I kinda forget that my mission was to save my husband, later in the game. However, the imaginary voice in the sky (the narrative) keeps reminding you every stage. Well, if the story wasn't soo simple throughout the whole game, we probably wouldn't need to be reminded alot.
Level of Challenge:
The puzzles in this game is pretty fun. However, you may run into a few puzzles that are not explained well. Note: The items in this game is really small. I was wondering why they didn't add a magnifying glass option to see those tiny items or stones. Literally, you have to zoom up to your computer screen and strain your eyes to see half of the items in the screen. That's your challenge folks. Strain your eyes to find the prize XD.
Visual and Sound Quality:
The twinkle and noises tend to be quite annoying. To tell you the truth, the game is really quiet on the sound. I hardly even notice it. In the end, the game is pretty much more on the visual catch as well. The scenes are indeed 3d renders. Pretty much because the game is pretty old. It was probably good back then.
Fun Factor:
If you enjoy walking through wacky places, interesting puzzles, straining your eyes to find tiny items, and very little story to move your through. Than this game is for you. Other words.... I wouldn't touch this game.

Sigh... how can I touch this game without being soo mad at it. I got the full version of the game. I do like it, but the game itself is broken in a way from beginning to end.
Storyline:
You start out as an explorer with an artifact. However, these evil red spirits desire the artifact. Even worse, you have been transported on a place of runes to figure out why you're here, and the story behind the runes that is built around the tree of life.
Yes, I know. It's not all that fascinating, but this is what you get. The story is dry and the more you get into the game, the more things tend to leave you asking more questions. Be warned. This game will make you mad in the end.
Level of Challenge:
The game itself is pretty easy once you get your ropes around everything that you had to do. Most of the time, it's trying to collect certain symbols that unlock hidden stories in the ruins or things to help you make an important item. Overall, the balance is there in the game especially with some hidden object scenes and puzzles that most people might enjoy.
Sound Quality and Visuals:
Okay! Recording people moving and putting them in the game seemed too digitalized. When I first saw the game image, I thought the characters will be like animated to fit the game cultural aspect. The story was done in drawings. However, if they would of cleaned it up, I believe they could of made it more impressive. You might get annoyed of the music though. The music is the same throughout the whole game. You might get a slight variation, but it's still the same bell like music.
Fun Factor:
With the mix of puzzles ahd hidden object games, It is pretty decent. I would suggest this game because it still an enjoyable game. You might still get mad at the ending though. I'm not going to say why either.

Sigh, why is it everytime someone does a game about a church, it's always lacking in a lot of perspective. Not to insult the people who go to church or religion, but to be honest.... this game is just lacking luster. However, here is my review.
Storyline:
You start out as a young woman who traveled to the catholic church. You were summoned to finish what your father has started. The seal of the door keeping evil locked is about to be open, and you got to solve what happened to these runes. I will admit this paper cut out story. It is indeed pretty dull. Not much action pact in the game, but it does add a mystery icon that might pull your interest.
Level of Challenge:
The challenge in this came is interesting. However, I was pretty vexed that most of the harder puzzles are in the beginning verses in the end. I guess to keep people from beating the game too fast. However, do not be ashamed to use the skip button. I had used the skip button on most tedious types of puzzles due to time. However, I believe this is more towards puzzle lovers that hidden object game lovers. Yes, there are some hidden object scenes, but you also get the ones where you put stuff back which becomes a puzzle in iteself. So, if you are indeed a hidden object lover. I wouldn't touch this game if I were you.
Visual Quality and Sound:
Seems kinda grudgy and dull. I had to say this, the sound track is definitely not worth the collector edition. There's not one music l liked form this game. The talking seemed to be kinda dull and dragging the game a long by taking up time. I even believe some of the cg scenes are clearly unnecessary, and most are unattractive to watch.
Fun Factor:
I had to say, I did get some decent fun out of it. However, I believe there are better games I would rather spend my money on. Actually, I am kinda glad this was pretty much my free game. It was definitely not worth buying the collector edition. Heck, I would of been better off with the standard edition of the game.
Overall, it's not bad, but it's definitely not a 4-5 star game. A lot of work needs to be done to it. And this game lacked a lot of luster to make it shine as a really fun game to play. Overall, Good for puzzle players, bad for hidden object lovers.

I was looking for a new train of games with similarity to Isabella, but less cutsey. I think I found that game. So, Here's my review on it.
Storyline:
Basically, you are at a museum hearing the story about what happened to the house of orion which is a complete mystery. Suddenly, after looking at one painting, you get zapped into the middle ages. Now, it is up to you to solve the mystery of what happened in the house of Orion.
Level of Challenge:
The Challenge is pretty decent. I found a few puzzles either creatively made, or recycled. Overall, the hidden object games has a little twist after you finish with a mini game to find which item in that list will be useful on your journey. It's a plus, I wish they could do more with the puzzles though
Visual and Sound Quality;
Of course the visual of the game look like a lot of 3d renders moving. It almost has that feel of that kids game called "I spy", but a lot could of been done with the look of the game. Furthermore, the sound is very decent. I like how it does change from time to time, and then goes into dead silence with scary noises to remind you that you are in an abandon castle. Overall, more is still desired, and sooner or later you will get annoyed of the music. Just telling the truth.
FunFactor:
I found this game quite addicting regardless of a few down points. I liked how there are some clues in the game are not even useful.... til you really need it which I am not going to spoil.
Overall, the game is pretty decent, and if you want a break from those who played isabella games. I believe this game is a great substitute.

Sorry, you have to already beat the game, and be a female to get what I am saying at this point. A male would probably get it to, but they had to be open minded about what females think. Anyway, on with the review:
Storyline:
The game starts off in the woods where the chacellors daughter was kidnapped by a strange person on exhiled prince road. When you approach the scene, the only thing you may find is her book. The rest is up to you to figure out what happened to the daughter.
Level of Challenge:
I had to say this game has the most brain scratching puzzles out of all the dark paraboles I played. This game I also labeled the hardest because there are a few puzzles that are brain scratches. I mean the game makes you think a lot, and I find myself easily lost in the game at some points. Regaedless, I still enjoyed the game all the way through.
Visual and Sound Quality:
It's definitely an improvement from the first game. It was annoying that every place you clicked sounded like rust bars in the first game. They got rid of that in this game. Furthermore, the sound and the atmosphere gives the game a sort of creepy investigation especially when you step inside the castle or in swan lakes and snow whites memorial areas.
Fun Factor:
Actually, this game is pretty fun, I enjoyed even the extra game that came with the collector edition and more. It has a lot of potential, and I would play this game again and again.
Overall, the game is awesome improvement from the first game. I strongly suggest playing this version.

Alright! I had to admit. I accidentally played this game first, and noticed that this was actually the fourth game. However, this game is still my number one Dark Parables to play. So, without further ado. Let's do the review:
Storyline:
The game starts off as the girl running away from this wolf in the woods. One of the red ridding hood sisters saved the girl, but got jacked in the back by the wolf queen. I won't spoil anything more than that because the game is best off played not said. Overall, your goal is to help the red ridding hood sisters.
Level of Challenge:
This game has a variety of difficulty which I like in most games. You start out your investigation easily. However, the closer you get the more difficult your findings and clues get. I will tell you the truth, the game is not hard. However, I am speaking from actually beating the game 5 times already on both editions. However, if you were a first time player like me who jumped into the game, you might find some previous game elements that you may never get unless you play the earlier parable versions.
Fun Factor:
I actually had a lot of fun playing this game. Especially, I like how you play in the day, but in your later investigations you had to play in the night. I wish they played more around with day and night or time. they played around with time in Final Cinderella. The mini games I find intriguing as well especially the ones that give you info about the story.
Overall, this is a great game. I hope to play more dark parables series. This is an improvement from their earlier series. However, I strongly suggest playing the earlier series, since more past elements keep popping up in each version you play.
I recommend this game!

It always wanted to play this game, but a few other better games kinda pushed it aside. Now, I finally got it and wanted to put in my two cents about it. Overall, this is not a bad game at all.
Storyline:
You play a part as the villager, and for some reason these terrocotta warriors were alive and caused destruction in your village. It is now up to you to figure out what is the cause and save your village. It's a pretty simple story, but there's more than I said that I do not want to spoil.
Level of Challenge:
I find the game very decent in difficulty. Some puzzles are easy, while others are pretty much mid range. If there are any difficult puzzles in the game, it was because of the lack of understanding of the puzzle. Overall, I strongly suggest to look in your journal more often in this game. While the puzzle itself will not give you clues, the book will note down clues. Overall, I do find more fun puzzles, and they are not repetitive.
Visual/Sound Quality:
I found the sound in this game very questionable. The game sounds very decent in a way to fit the situation. But I agree with earlier comments that the music doesn't feel oriental enough. There score could of been much better to fit the culture of the ancient Chinese traditions.
Fun Factor:
Overall, the game is pretty interesting, and it kept drawing me in til the end. I don't mind playing this game again. However the only drawbacks is some of the hidden object scenes. You might find a few items not translated very well. So, don't feel ashamed to use the hint button when you run into them.
In the end, the game is good. A lot could be done to make it better. I hope they do more games though.
I recommend this game!

I find this game very relaxing, and very useful when I don't want to stress my mind on doing a lot of hidden object puzzle games. Here's a few subjects I like to pin point about this game.
Level of Challenge:
I find the game to be pretty good with the challenge. They seem to mix things up with the list every time you play. Even if you end up playing the same background, you'll never get the same list again. Sometimes, they would throw in different games for different levels like gold finding (one of my favorite games to play on timed), silouette, flashlight, and speed diving. However, I wish there was more variety of games for hidden objects.
Visual/ Sound Quality:
Hearing the same noise every time you click an item tends to be annoying at some point, but the music is really good. It always matches the level you play. For example, if you get the circus background you get this carnival like tune or if you play the alien one you get a space like theme. I advise you take a break from the game at some point because the music will start becoming repetitive if you play too much.
Fun Factor:
I find this game very addictive. I enjoy making money to buy fish, decorate your tank, and the add ons and achievements are pretty good for a standard game. Most content like that you have to get a collector edition. However, I don't mind the standard edition price for simple things like that.
I highly recommend this game for any age. Yeah it may seem kiddy, but it's good for those who want to take a break from doing hardcore puzzle/hidden object games.
