This is based on playing the game for a full hour. Be warned. I never played the earlier series, but for some reason this one caught my interest. Maybe it's because I love sirens as much as mermaids. Overall, Let's get started with the Storyline. I bet you guys are drowning in thought about that.
Alright, your a museum expert at topics like Davy Jones and other sea legendary things like defeating him. However, a mysterious guy you never knew comes to your door with a package only you can open..... suspicious.... Well, you decided to help the guy regardless that you have no idea who he is or not even any relations. However, when you finally opened the box to see the artifact.... things went down. You get attacked by shark-like henchmen, you get dragged on a boat with a fish man, and you get to.... wait a minute.... aren't I just a museum girl who's only an expert! Now, for some reason I have to save the siren from this corrupted mayor. Well, there's your basic story. Not the best nor the strongest. I mean it's a predictable plot, but hopefully there's a twist. However, do not quote me on that.
Alright, next on the market is the level of challenge. I had to say, the puzzles in this game is very light challenging. I find myself zipping through the puzzles quickly solving every last one. So far, I hadn't skipped not one. Just skipping any puzzle will insults one's intelligent. They are that easy. However, if you want more of a stress free puzzling with hidden objects. This is probably the game for you. However, die hard puzzle fans maybe disappointed. However, I think the more creative ones I like the most are the puzzles that's mixed with hidden objects. I had to say. They did a well done job with it.... Unfortunately, I was disappointed that there were not more of those creative puzzles/hidden objects.
So far, I would like to touch on the Visual and sounds. I had to say the Sounds was epic, and the Visuals itself was well done moving from one place to the next. However, I sometimes question the animation which is the reason I gave it a good. There were times where the animated character sticks out too much from everything. Even in the cutscene where the siren is kidnapped by the Kraken for some reason just looks odd. Regardless of those few factors, the overall thing I find amazing in this game is fun.
This game actually pulled me in for a whole hour, from trying to piece together the story to trying to follow the carriage and the obstacles that stopped you. I also like the fact that you can choose between doing the hidden object game or doing mahjongg which adds interesting gameplay. You can play all mahjongg, play all hidden objects, or mixed. It's like they're trying to please both the puzzle people and the hidden object loves which I give Fun Factor the highest.
Overall I liked the game. However, I was debating between giving it a 3 or a 4. It's not an entirely bad game at all Lowest I would possibly give it is a 3 because there could of been more done to it. It wasn't there. In the end, I think this game maybe a bit too hyped up for it's own good from others. It's good, but not great. There are better games. Overall, I will still recommend it. I don't see much of the advantage of the collector edition. I might wait til it comes out on Standard edition or when collector edition is on sale.
Well, I hope you like this review.

Alright! This review is based off nearly beating the game. Meaning... I almost got to the end, but I had to remove the game because of some issues. So, let this review begin with the bottom of the bar (the story)
Alright! You start off as a medicine healer summoned from an old friend's brother to heal his son. However, things do go the way as planned, and you realized you are on the run on an epic adventure to cure the son and save china. Well, as simple as it may be, it's not the best story. However, it could of been better. One thing I disliked about the story is that the bad guy is soo obviously bad from looks down to his attitude. You can already pin point the bad one just when you first met him or by the girl talking about him if you missed that bit. However, The story is not that bad, but because of the obviousness, I have to give it a 4 out of 5 for that.
Another is the level of challenge. I had to say, some puzzles were brain scratches, while others were just plain easy. Regardless, I like that not all the puzzles follow the same routine except the opening puzzles. There are hidden object scenes in this game and even a few interactive items, but it is still quite enjoyable because everytime you play it changes a bit. This gives replay value a bit up. Overall, I gave it a 4 of 5 because I was hoping a bit more, and I hope they do even better in the next game.
The third is sound and visuals. Very Very nice. I even like it how some scenes would fuzz out. When you put your pointer over it, you can see the city. The detail is very nice, and I do have a feeling like I am in china in some way. They definitely did their research. However, the things that concerned me is the consistency. Sometimes, when you go through hidden object games you sometimes find items that are not related to china. It's a small tweak. but it really doesn't effect the gameplay or visuals all that much. So, final verdict is a 5 of 5.
Lastly, it is the fun of the game. I had to say, I did have some fun with some of the missions I had to do like trying to find the eggs, working the medicine box in situations, completing circles. There was a variety of activities to accomplish in this game that kept it fresh in every section you explored. Overall, this game deserved a 5 of 5 for that.
In the end, the game is very good. I had to say from the creators of Voyage of the tree of Life, this game is a step up from that. I can't wait to play another sequal of this game and what country adventure to explore next. I hope it is Greek or Egypt, maybe I can deal with native American folk tales. I mean that got some material to work with.
I recommend this game!

Alright! I actually purchased this game, I only play it once and a while. Though it doesn't hook me to play it like all the others. However. I will discuss 3 of the factors.
Starting with the Challenge, the game is actually even. All you're doing is finding items. This is purely hidden. So, I suggest having this game as one to take a breather from more hardcore breath taking hidden object games. When I don't feel like playing puzzle hardcore dark hidden object games, I come to here. The game gives you a clock to find all the items, but if you decide you don't care to race the clock, then you don't have to. I had played levels where I got 0 stars and still opened the next scene. So, it is not very strict.
The next on the list is probably the visual. I have no problem with the scenery when it was light. However, it's the dark ones with the spotlight that raise the seeing problems. When you move your mouse, the background tends to jerk or shake. In certain scenes, it was quite difficult. However, if you feel like spending your coins can solve it, but that determines if you are going after stars. Furthermore, the music is too repetiive. I find myself muting it and playing my own music.
Last but not least the fun, It's pretty much strait forward Hidden Object game as it says. So fun will vary. You will get bored of it pretty quickly, so play sparingly to keep it fresh. Other than that, it's an okay game. Not the best, but okay. Actually, I another game is way better.
I recommend this game!

I had to say, I have purchased all the dark Parable Collector Editions, and unlike any other game collector edition... They do not disappoint. However, I would like to tell you about each category starting from storyline up. So let's begin.
Story Line:
Is probably one of the two highest ratings in this group. The story line is pretty simple. You're a detective called upon this mysterious ball that girls have been invited too. After the party, they would turn into glass. So, it is up to you to discover what this evil god mother's plot and why the final Cinderella is soo important to her, I had to say they did a very well job mixing two different stories, plus their own story and made it work.
The next I would like to discuss is the level of challenge. Typically, I had to say this is one of the easier dark parables. If I had to list out the hardest to easiest level out of all 5 parables I played I would organize it like this-
Exhiled Prince-Red Ridding Hood Sisters- Curse of Briar Rose- Rise of the Snow Queen-Final Cinderalla
The reason I consider exiled prince the hardest because of the level of difficulty of the puzzles I find more questionable. Also one of the Parable games to easily get lost than the others. So, Final Cinderella is one of the most easiest and strait forward game to get around unlike most. However, there are areas that are consequential if you're not done with everything. My advice to you, use the hint to make sure you're done with everything before travel. It will save you a lot of OMG do I need to restart syndrome.
Next is the Visual Quality. I heard a lot of people complain about how the game is hard to see. Well, I saw it perfectly fine on my lab top. Sometimes, I did find the slight light fog kinda annoying a bit. However, this can be easily solved if you go to your options and mess with the gamma a bit. This is the cause of why people are having a hard time seeing in this game. Sometimes, the set maybe either to dark or light for you. Plus playing in window mode may be an issue as well. So, I don't think the sight thing is the game's fault because I was able to fully see everything okay with an LCD.
However the visual and music are top notch. I liked how they made it dark yet colorful which is not seen in any early dark parables. Be warned, make sure you do have a good monitor or graphics card because those qualities may determine that.
The last thing to talk about is the fun factor. I had a lot of fun events with this game. From times where you know you're not the perfect detective because there are a few points in this game that you fail, scared out of a place, and even tricked. However, I will not spoil that because that's the main meat of the game and the events are best played not said. So I shall not spoil anything. I even found the collector edition extra bonus game interesting as well which kinda showed the event before geppeto even.... oooops no spoils. Play the game. You won't regret it.
I recommend this game!

Hello, this is kitty, and I just beat this game. However, I had to say.... I was highly disappointed in this game.
The start out was good, when you actually reached skyward castle, and you had to recover your alicorn or unicorn in the story. However, you encounter dreadmire who appears and causes destruction in the skyward land. You had to save people who were turned to stone, and at the same time find your parents that you've hadn't seen in a 100 years. So far soo good right,
Well, that's what you get for the first hour. However, the interest doesn't really hold itself much with the gameplay. As I will explain each part.
First the story line, I had to say, out of all the previous games, the story line seemed interesting at first. Believe me, it does start out really good. However..., the story tends to drag more as you go through the story. I even felt like when you get to one bit, it felt like the developers was just trying to drag on the story when all you want to do is finish the story. You feel like you are getting closer to the climax when all of the sudden... oh great more repetitive stuff to drag on the story. Which is my next bit...
The challenge I marked at the lowest... not because it is easy.... it's because it has unbalanced puzzles with some that don't even give you better instructions on how to solve it. Which was the biggest issue in their past games. I am shocked that even up to now that they did not fix that issue about the puzzles. For example. I probably would like the patch puzzle enough if the first puzzle give you a simple diagram on what the numbers tell you. Do not be ashamed to look at a walkthrough because you'll be depending on it on most of the puzzles because the owl is completely useless. If that's not bad enough, you might find a problem with the puzzles. There's also no balance between the puzzles that take you hours to solve verses the puzzles that give you a break from those. Sooner or later, you'll get to the point that you don't even care to solve the puzzle because they throw at you a bunch of time wasting puzzles along the way. The worst part is that they keep repeating them in different ways.
The only positive thing is the looks. I mean this game looks awesome and is unchanged from the last few games. As always, it feels like you're going through a nice picture book.
However, the last thing I would like to talk about is the fun factor. The game would seem fun at the first hour. I mean I was pulled in and brought the game. However, when I got to the mid point I realized how much the game is not giving you much direction on what you need to do. In time, you might start depending on the owl. If it gets really bad, than the walk through. By all means, do not feel ashamed to use a walkthrough if you're a person with a life.
Overall, for a kid with a lot of time may find this game fun, but if you're an adult and you only got limited time to play everyday.... this game is not for you. Avoid it at all cost because you will not have fun. If you want to play an awakening game that fits your needs. Play Dreamless castle or Moonfell Wood. Those are the best games that fit your needs. Goblin Kingdom is iffy, it has similar issues like this game, but it's not as bad. You might slide with Goblin Kingdom. It Sad because I really want to like this series. However, I won't delete this game because it was my free one. Overall, I would not recommend this game, and I believe this would probably be my last buy. I might as well save my money for the Dark Parable series. The ones that did it right.
Overall, Kitty Out!
I don't recommend this game.

Alright! How to start this off...
After reading most of the negative comments about the game, I decided to play for myself and see what the ranting, raving, and screaming is all about. In short to say, what really is truthful about the reviews and what is a plain rant.
To tell you the truth, I don't trust any review of someone who played less than 45 minutes of it. I brought the collector edition, and it was more than what people give this game in less than that time.
For a review, you play as bella and destined save your mom from the witch who stole her beauty and turned your mother into stone. As a premature girl, of course your power is not all that great as the queen Isabella, so you need a wand. The usual cast from the last two games come, first the fairy, and next the dragon. However, as you get out of your hideout in the sky, you meet a new cast in the group. However, in your travels to finally get to the castle, you meet the witch, and in her en-devour to trick you, she kills your FAIRY.
I mean most of the comments I read complained about the fairies voice, when in a short moment of the game, she is killed, and a new ally takes her place "Mr. Owl". XD I had to say I do like the new change with the owl. Oh! With the magic wands... it kinda feels harry potterish if you like the books. So, I had to say I didn't regret the CE edition. Sure, everyone is right about the game having no interactive Hidden Object games, but going through so many bad games with those, I sorta start disliking them unless it was created by Spirit of Mystery. Another thing maybe true is the difficulty level of puzzles. It's not all that difficult. Most are pretty easy to get by. I did have to look at the strategy guide because I had to report that there maybe some bugs with the puzzle closing out while you're trying to solve it, and other issues. However, none are brain scratches, but that's probably because during the long distance of waiting for this game... I played other games with similar puzzles and more.
I have a feeling that the game maybe shorter than the previous Isabella series, and if a SE is your forte, than wait for that one. I have no reason to go against anyone who don't want to buy the CE. But at least give it more than 10 minutes of chance. Judging by most of the reviews, some people didn't even get to the castle part.
I had to say for an expert, this game is probably bad. However, I felt like this game appeals more to the newer generation of Isabella players verses the older ones who played it in the beginning like me. Which I believe where most of the source rant is that it feels more for kids than adults. It's not entirely a bad thing because you can still enjoy the game some what regardless of that feel.
However, I can't say this game is better or worse. It's kinda on the same line which I don't mind. Sometimes, I don't mine games that keep the same line. Heck! look at awakening's games story, that's an interactive HOGA that kept falling after the second game. I think they were playing it safe than sorry with the new mechanics.
In the end, that's my thoughts about the game. However, if they are gonna make a 4th game, I believe they should stop making isabella games or try a new series. I might not buy it unless it really appeals to all fans.

Hello,
I played this game for just an hour. However, this game focused on a great idea, but it just didn't pull through as expected. I did a bit of research about the true story this game was based on, and I was surprised. However, surprised of the accuracy to the real story in Siberia, this game is only based on the true story in 1770's. I better first start with the story line.
You start out as a detective, and someone form the higher ups noticed some cases of attacks and deaths in a town called Kisilova. So, you were set out and test your detective skills to discover the culprit who was causing all these deaths and killings in the town. However, on your way to the town, a mysterious man in a black coat tries to stop you in anyway possible: blocking paths, kidnapping, stealing something important to your case, the whole shebang. So, you have to uncover the case with little knowledge. Sounds exciting huh? Unfortunately, the execution of the story is not well played due to a lack of other features I will mention if you continue reading.
The good thing this game has for itself was the challenge of the puzzles. There's an even amount of difficulty to enjoy for both children and tweens. However, the target audience seems to be more of teenager and adults . So, most people may find the puzzles a bit too easy. Judging only by the hour, I hope the puzzle difficulty goes up as you investigate.
The factor that really dragged the story down while listening to all the talking from the people around you is the music. The music in the intro was superb, and I was hoping to hear more engaging sound track beyond the intro screen. Unfortunately, it seemed to die out just by the first hour of gameplay. In the hidden object scenes, it's like total silence. However, to much silence causes the game to be a bit boring. Especially, when you're trying to find things in the area. I don't mind some dark scary mystery music while I am investigating the town. Think if a mystery movie was completely silent. You'll probably be bored by the thirty minutes watching it. However, the visuals was decent and fit the time period of the game. It's like I am going through a painting made in the american patriotic period, so I say that's a good note.
Finally, The fun factor, and probably the lowest on the list. There's too much talking and not enough play. I even believer there should be some areas where it should be an option to talk to them more than forcibly hear what they had to say. Most of the stuff they say is not even important or helpful to solving the case or getting to the next area. They need to balance the talking and the game play more. Too much talking drains the fun I always say. Along with the silence, I felt less intrigued to keep going. In some cases, I find myself bored, but that could be my fault because I got lost at some point.
Overall, I was hoping for more in this game. For example, the detective partner could be a more interactive partner than just giving hints, and I wish there was more of mysteriousness in the guy who tried to stop you. He kinda seem to obviously evil, and with all the hard work.... the story could be too predictable because of that. I also encountered bugs while playing the game. However, this is not the worst game, but it not the greatest game either. I believe they went too bold to make it a collector first. They should of started out with an original standard game. If they make another series and it's good and improved from this one, I believe a collector edition could be plausible. However, this game deserves the 3. It's too buggy and dull to be a 4 or a 5, however it's not soo bad that it deserves a 1 or a 2. Well,
I recommend this game!

After countless of times downloading, playing, deleting this game, and repeats. I had to say no to this game. I really tried to play through this game, but often times, I found myself jerked out of it again. Then, I tried to play it again. At that point, I had to ask myself.... Am I playing this game for fun, or am I just forcing myself to like it even though I really don't. After all the good reviews I read, I would think I like this game. However, reviews don't reveal all. So here are my thoughts.
I had to say the one positive and catchy thing is the story line (which is probably my highest on the list). You basically start out as a person who brought this house and found pieces that reveal a girl is missing. After going around, you come across a girl in the water telling you how to create a watch to go to the other world and save her. Sounds simple enough. It was quite catchy and did make me want to save her. However, I will get into the okay range of the game which is the visuals.
The visuals is okay actually. They were pretty nice and even well done when you go into the fantasy world which is somewhat cursed as well. It definitely had more of a scary feel, but I am a bit use to it. However, the sound really tears the game. I know the music after a while either made or break the game. Sometimes, the sound is just overwhelmingly trying to freak you out while you're already exploring a creepy place. Oh.... by the way..... it lasts a while throughout the game and I get more creepy music sounds and not even a break to settle down. Good luck playing this game in the dark room.
However, the puzzles are not that hard. They're pretty easy. Actually, if you played previous hidden object puzzle games before they will be pretty easy. However, I didn't even have to read how to do the puzzle to solve it. So, challenge could be almost too easy. I think maybe a simple child can solve these puzzles pretty easily..... but... I have a feeling this is not for little kids because of the overall creepiness level of it. Heck even the good characters in the game are as creepy as the shades that are watching you with no eyes.
In all, I just find myself jerked out of this game too many times to say I like it. The story is good, but that will not hook you for long. I had to say this game is good for those who like creepy, but the puzzles are too easy that you might get jerked out of the game because of the simple challenges.
I can't give this game 1 star because It's not a game to hate. However, I wasn't having any fun due to a few reasons that easily jerked me out of the game. Overall, I hope you all have a nice day.

I brought this game during the 4.99 deal, and I had to say,
"It was worth the money." However, it would be different if I paid the original price. After buying the game, and beating it in less than a day. I had to say, the visual aspect of the game was top notch, if you overlook the character's smooth-like but still choppy movements. The Hidden Object scenes and the Puzzles in the game were very appealing. On top of that, putting together the story they handed out to you was pretty interesting. Furthermore, the music is breathtaking. The score in this game is very lovely no matter where you go in the game. Most scores fit the mood of the area.
So far, I told you about the good aspects. However, let's try to look at the flaws of the game. Through this game is strikingly compelling, there are gonna be some things you'll notice that might jerk you out of the game. For example, you might receive or find an item that you might not use til like you get to the other section story of the game. Even then, it would be a while til you need it (Oh you can't organize your inventory, so things you need might get mixed with the things you don't need). Another flaw is the talking. There would be some scenes where the talking goes too fast ,and you might miss something really important. Good luck if you miss something because, you can't go back. Another bad part that if you leave the game for weeks/months and come back, the game will not remind you what you need to do. At that point, you're highly dependent on the hint button. If you're playing on a higher difficulty, you might be doing some time wasting searching for a while to get where you need to go. Furthermore, if you read anyone reviews and said that the puzzles are hard, you are sadly fooled. I played this game hoping for "Drawn Quality Puzzles (Original Puzzles that challenge the mind that's not common in other Hidden Object Games)". However, most puzzles are just light brain scratches. You'll probably never use the hint button on any puzzle you run into.
In the end, there is an equality between the good and the bad. Regardless, that I gave it 3 stars, I would still recommend this game because the story is catchy, and the art is compelling. It's a pretty fun game to play regardless of the flaws. I'll probably play it again as well. I felt like this game could be so much better verses the hype everyone gave this game. So that's my thoughts.

This game is not just pure hidden, it has hidden objects, puzzles, and interesting mini games to play. Overall, you have free choice to play them or move on to the next level. For example, if you find the purple lettered items, you may be free to continue the level or move on since you already got the item.
This game contains beautiful scenery, pictures, and creative artworks to go through. I strongly recommend this game for beginners who just want to get into hidden object games without the stress of exploring through many places to solve a puzzle, or pressured to find the right answer to move on.
This game is fun for any age. However, I would not recommend this for more intermediate or advance players since this game is not at all challenging. However, it is a great stress reliever from the stressful types of hidden object/ puzzle games.
I recommend this game!
