The title says it all. I have played this game four times. I keep coming back to it every 3-4 months because I find it so enjoyable.
Some people seem to have difficulty understanding how to play this game or complain about needing better reflexes to play it. I'm 74 and my reflexes certainly aren't what they used to be. I had no difficulty at any point of the game determining what needed to be done, and I appreciate being able to control how to proceed rather than needing to follow a narrowly defined path as in most games. Some say they were bored; I very much like the fact that this game is untimed, that you build your camps over time, that you have to think instead of merely racing around, and that gameplay is not frenzied as are many other games. I also like the variety of activities, although "fishing" is not my favorite.
All in all, this is a terrific game. I would definitely buy more like it.
I recommend this game!

I don't often play mosaics games because I usually find them tedious and dull. Not this one! I'm glad I took a chance to try it, because I enjoyed it so much I was shocked when the demo time was up. This is definitely a "keeper," which I have already purchased and will play more than once.
I really like the multi-tier approach to game levels; playing each level one color at a time adds to game enjoyment as well as producing a mosaic that is more attractive than those in other mosaic games. You can choose the type of tile you want displayed, as well as earn power-ups that become especially useful as the levels increase in difficulty. I also appreciate the factoids about the places "visited."
I rarely rate all aspects of a game as 5-star. This game deserves the rating.
I recommend this game!

I played the demo for about 45 minutes and thought the game was really slow moving with simple HOS, but I was out of new games to play, so I got it with the Daily Deal. I'm truly sorry I bothered.
The game devolved into endless scenes that made little sense, the dialog was awful, the Dark One was ridiculous (with every trite manifestation of "evil"). There was no real challenge beyond trying to figure out game play that made no sense. This was not in any way enjoyable for me, and after wasting another hour to see if it got any better (it didn't), I quit the game and will never finish it. I've already deleted it from my GameManager.
For me, this was the worst game I have played in a very long time. You may think differently, so try before you buy.
I don't recommend this game.

After playing the demo, I decided I didn't think this game was worth purchasing. However, I decided to use a free coupon, as I was out of new games to play (there have been very few good time management or adventure games released for Macs recently). I’m sorry I wasted the coupon and that I actually finished this game. There is no reason I would ever want to play it again.
The game just goes on and on; after playing for half an hour or so, you will encounter nothing new. The dialog is truly dreadful. The intrepid heroine keeps saving her inept father and his incredibly clueless assistant. There is almost no variation in the hidden object scenes; most of the scenes are repeated. The mini games are OK, but I was pretty much bored by them. All in all, this really was a waste of time for me. But I’ll let you be the judge. Just try before you buy.
This for me, was a one-star game; I’m giving it two stars because others may not consider it a total waste of time.
I don't recommend this game.

An enjoyable game! Good graphics, voiceovers, mini games. Also good HO scenes, for those of you who enjoy these. I appreciate the option of completing puzzles instead, and found myself completing some HOGs and switching between HOs and puzzles
Although the casual mode would certainly be boring for expert gamers, there are a total of four game modes--something for all levels of players.
I'm not sure why many reviewers felt this game was too short. I've been playing for more than two hours (SE version), and I think I'm about halfway through the game. I'm playing on an iMac, OS 10.10.5.
Although I generally prefer to play strategy and time management games, this is a nice change of pace for a relaxing, fun afternoon of gaming. Definitely worth buying, especially using the Daily Deal, but you be the judge.
I recommend this game!

This game was a total disappointment for me (I expect more from Elephant Games). I regret having purchased it, and I've already deleted it from my iMac. I agree totally with Rescue-helo's remarks. The game looks good, but is simplistic and boring. Without giving it away, the ending was really lame. Most of the mini-games and HOPs are incredibly easy; I sincerely wish the developers had included a Match 3 or other option.
I don't really understand the number of 4- and 5-star reviews for this game. (For what it's worth, I'm learning to question 5-star reviews from folks whose high reviews are 80-90% of their total reviews.) Try before you buy!
I don't recommend this game.

For those who like HOG after HOG after HOG every few minutes (always just a list of objects, with one or two that morph), this game's for you. I'm sorry I purchased it, even with the Daily Deal, and I won't be completing it -- too boring.
The mini-games are OK, some far too easy, some take a lot of time (but aren't much fun). Items throughout the game are frequently misnamed; for example, you're told to find "pearls," which turn out to be red, green and purple buttons. Many things you need to find don't make much sense; for example, you need to open a can of bird seed (is there such a thing?) when a loaf of bread is next to the can. For animal lovers, be aware that questionable actions are required, such as poisoning a fish and using lightning to kill a wolf that's in your way.
All in all, this feels to me like an old game, with little to recommend it. Try before you buy!
I don't recommend this game.

This game is addictive! I couldn't resist completing it in one sitting--took me a little more than 5 hours. I kept playing after reaching the primary objective (supposedly but not really "the end"), so I could get almost all the awards; I would have won all of them if I hadn't sold a key resource that I couldn't replace. I will definitely replay this game in the very near future, using a better strategy for purchasing and using resources in order to achieve all awards.
Contrary to some reviewers' comments, the English is better than that of most non-American developers, you can complete quests after you have achieved the primary goal, and you need to use strategy to achieve your goals with relative ease. The graphics are crisp and I had very little trouble finding even the smallest objects. In fact, I found this aspect easier than many HOGs.
You definitely have to think about how to buy/use resources in order to have enough on hand to minimize a lot of the back-and-fourth, yet not have too much left over at the end in order to earn all awards. It's worth noting that some resources (such as workers) cannot be sold if no longer needed after being purchased; other resources may not be available if you sell all you have to raise cash.
This may not be your type of game, but it's just become my current favorite. I hope the next version will be available in the very near future for us who are Mac-based.
I recommend this game!

I purchased three of the previous games in this series and very much enjoyed them--did not review them at the time, but would rate two of them a "5" and one, a "4." What a disappointment this one is! I agree with the comments of the other reviewers who could not recommend this game--plus on my iMac the graphics were extremely fuzzy. I lasted 35 minutes into the demo before deleting the game.

I could not find anything redeeming about this game. It was gross, demeaning toward most of the characters, and (at least on my iMac) buggy. And if it was supposed to be amusing, it was not. I played to the end to see if I could find *anything* redeeming about the game prior to writing my review. I didn't, and I sincerely regret the waste of my time.
This is definitely NOT a game for pre-teens nor, IMHO, most rational teens or adults. I truly cannot understand the majority of the reviews that raved about the game.
Be sure you try it before you buy it (even with a credit or free game).
I don't recommend this game.
