First of all, I'm quite surprised to see this game as a TGT, it's an old game, but I'm a Nancy Drew game fan, and this one is one my favorite. I think it has one of the most original storyline ever, and although there is a lot of talking, it gives clues. I love the concept of ghost towns and Indian dwellings. The characters have personality, and the length of the game is good. I recommend this to you if you like adventure games. ^o^
I played the demo for 45 minutes, it looks fun, the game combines real actors which reminds me of MCF games.. but their mouth don't match the text, which is a pity. The hooded figure, like many other mystery game is the culprit and to save missing journalist is actually is an old story but there's something engaging about this game that wants me to play more. The HOG is easy, which is good for me, the graphic is clear and the hint button recharges quickly.
One thing though, the cursor is not very responsive, is it just me? I read in some reviews that some of the users also experienced the same thing, hopefully it is a bug and they fix it, because it's not very enjoyable playing the game when the cursor is draggish..
Still thinking of buying the CE, maybe when I have got my two game club credits..
At first I was reluctant to buy this game when I tried on the demo. Seems like there are many backtracking and although it has a nice voice overs, almost nothing in the game has music (or is it just me?), but after reading many positive reviews, I decided to buy this using my two game club credits and I've got to say I am pretty satisfied with this purchase. It has a nice graphic, great storyline (although it doesn't show clearly why we had a car crash and our sister seems like to order us around), but the game itself is long so it's a good value for money. I love the map, so no backtracking is needed, as long as we know where it is, we can always track on the to-do list. A plus for this game. I don't really need to use the strategy guide because the hint is quite useful.
Overall I am happy with this game, hope you could try it and have fun with it as I do.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
I purchased the game as soon as it was advertised in BFG, I loved the 13th Skull and how it was made, so I decided to buy this one as soon as it came out. + The length of the game was okay, not too long and not too short.. I think I played this game for 6 - 7 hours. + The strategy guide is helpful, but sometimes I have difficulty in finding where I should go next, because the game has so many backtracking (-), and it's quite disturbing when I have to go through the asylum and sees the 'distrubances', which I don't quite like (-) + In some part of the game it is scary, and somewhat cruel in a way, too bad the very last part of the game is very short. + For the morphing thing, I like it, basically because HOG is difficult at times, and this time is a fresh change. I think there aren't many in the game, so it's bearable. + The voice acting is good, as usual, but I prefer still from 13th Skull. One more negative aside from the backtracking: for CE, there's barely any bonus except for the Strategy Guide, I heard that we need to collect some items in the game, but that was it. There is no extra play or anything (correct me if I'm wrong).
It is quite embarassing for me to say that this is the first MCF game that I ever played, I even didn;t know about MCF games and its Ravenhearst games before. I played this game because the demo creeped me out, but in a good way. It is set in winter, and throughout the game, and the snow looks so real for me to feel really cold. I like it that there are videos to be collected that shows what is really going on, the occassional specter showing in and outside the house gives more sense of creepiness. A good game overall, even after I played Ravenhearst, I still feel that this game is better. First impression always lasts, they say ^^
I bought this game at the same time as Syberia, as I was totally curious with what happens at the ending of the first game. Playing this game sends shivers and chills because basically it is white all around, the graphic looks so real, and every movie clips on the game I feel looks like a real scene. The sound and voice acting are excellent like the first one, and the two bad bullies added more twist to the game. However what I was a little disappointed about was the ending, which seems so abrupt, like what is going to happen to Kate? will she ever come back to New York? if so, how? those are not yet answered, but I hope Syberia 3 will be realased and answer those questions...
I recommend this game!

Syberia
Seek out the hidden heir to a legacy built on cities of automatons and other clever machinations.
I bought this game because of the very positive reviews in other game site. I am not very much a point and click kind of gamer so I was reluctant at first but fortunately the game really delivers. The sound effect, voice acting are superb, they add to the fun to the game, and the graphic is the best I have ever seen.. makes me want to learn more about mammoths, which never occured in my mind before. Plus the added conflict between Kate and her fiancee adds more spice to the game, it feels so real. I am totally excited with this game and really recommend this to everyone!
When I first saw this game advertised I was excited, the title itself is very eye-catching. The voice acting is superb and really nice to hear, the graphic is nice and the idea of a 'haunted house' is spooky, however unfortunately almost everything is already 'directed' in the game, they tell you what to do with the item, tell you the goal, and the puzzles are relatively very easy. Not to mention loading between rooms.. when I check the SG, I am already on Chapter 3 from 7 or 8 if not mistaken and I'm only on the demo! I'm a bit concerned whether this game is going to be short.. I hope not.. Maybe I'll wait for the SE to buy this or on promotion :)
