This is an older game but I loved it so much at the time after playing through the SE the first time that I went back and I bought it again as a CE. I've actually played it through twice.
I love how they break up the chapters with innovative stories. Chapters are divided to save several different characters from ending up in the cemetery and reverse the outcome to a good one!
To date I feel it has one of the best storylines I've ever played. You actually have a real desire to help the individuals and feel a need to keep playing to save them!
SINCE upgrading to the CE of this game, all those years ago, I have purchased the CE to every Redemption Cemetery in the history of this series. I love how Amax/ERS adds screensavers to their games and they are always great ones.
The screensavers and bonus play is what makes the CE worthy to me; but I also like having the strategy guide.
Along with the other RC in the series-- I think these games are similar so if you liked this one maybe try the demo to these here @ BFG:
1. Haunted Halls: Fears from Childhood
2. Reincarnations #3: Back to Reality (all 3 great)
3. Mysteries of the Mind: Coma
This very game started my great love for the HOPA genre. Play the demo and see if you love it as much as I do. Personally, it still stands the test of time.
Thank you Amax/ERS not only for this great game, but for the RC series in general. It's a favorite!!!
I recommend this game!

BASED ON COMPLETED GAME & BONUS PLAY
This is a 2015 game and it was in my top 2 favorite games for that year.
The SE portion of this game took me 4 hours
The bonus play to the CE took me 1 hr. 45 min
Total play for me was 5 hours 45 min.
This is one of those games that just gets better after the demo which is a rare thing. The graphics are clear and colorful. The cut-scenes are amazing.
It's funny because in Chapter 1 (pg 6 of wtg) there is a poster on the wall of a woman in the hotel. She looks exactly like Gene (Eliza)Tierney. Even though she is decades before my time, I've always been a fan of her on the silver screen.
There are several great HOS here & a storybook type with pop up paper type characters the illusionist does tricks in.
The game feels as if love, time and money went into every detail is thought out. It is a long game compared to those coming out in later years.
You collect morphing trick cards. I absolutely adored this game from beginning to end and would rate it higher if I could. I will definitely play this game again as the replay value is super high.
Thank you to BFG and Blam for this beautiful game.
I recommend this game!

In each scene there is a morphing spiral, a regular spiral to find and one in each of the HOS so an upgrade from prior games and I was happy to see the morphs outside of the HOS.
I felt some scenes were clearer than others but huge points for the fact that each of the scenes looked different from the last in that the sun is shining in some and a different colors were being used. I tend to prefer actual cut scenes to the split screening MH has been using lately. I also wish we'd had a notebook to follow the story better.
I also loved how from afar, the characters looked almost like live actors. Our character has a voice actor (a great one) and you connect to the game more because of that.
I also loved the 3rd HOS into the demo where you have a thumbnail of an area/part of an item and you need to find it that way.
Believe it or not, one of my favorite things about this game is the "Options Menu". This DEV has a check box to remove the actual game sounds effects and that allows you to still hear the environment ambiance. I play so many of these games that game effect sounds can make or break a game for me now as to whether or not I will purchase it.
If you like this demo: Try the "Beyond" series by MHG, especially :
Beyond: Light Advent CE.....
Several years later and that is still one of my very favorite casual games I've ever played.
I recommend this game!

BASED ON COMPLETED DEMO
I am a big fan of Mosaic Grid games in general. I buy them a lot and play them daily. When I played the first in this series I was amazed by how creative and clever this DEV is.
When I was doing the demo for this game I was half way through playing FM #20, so I noticed more what I liked and disliked about each of the game series by comparison.
Personally, I don't like the Roman numeral levels in this series. I don't have a problem with reading Roman numerals but it just seems redundant (and annoying, instead of fun for me). The multi-color levels are kind of basic (picture-wise) in comparison to the other game I had been playing so in this one I was dying to get to the next "moving grids" and "maze grids".
I agree with Pennmom36, the colors should be more varied over the levels and more vivid. I too, liked the shaped levels.
To perfect this game, I'd tweak how the shadow guide for the row to be elongated into the row where your grid numbers are. I change the color of the border of the grid from black to a lighter color so you can see the shadow guide into the grid numbers. I kept mis-clicking due to being in the wrong row and realized my shadow row guide (which was in the other game I was playing) is now missing, and how much I missed it.
I preferred some of the types of grids in this game more so then others and would rate them differently.
I'd give the Maze and the Moving item levels a 10* of 5*-- if possible. I know if the game had ALL grids of this type I would have to buy every grid game that came out by this DEV.
I'd rate the usual colored square levels a 3* of 5*;
Roman Numeral levels a 0* of 5*.
What sets this game apart from all the others are the levels with the moving pictures you create with water, stone, grass & flowers. Watching boats and critters move over and through these areas is mind blowing because when I see it all done I'm happy just to sit and watch my completed grid!

The same applies with the maze levels you create; it's what sets it apart from ALL games of it's type. It is SO FUN to be able to play within the grid you just created. I would offer way more of those 2 types of grids in the newer versions of this game.
Note to the Developer......
This game has so much potential for some really neat spin off series, such as "National Forests" with the same type of learning/fact info. we see about the cities here, we could learn about different forests and the animals that live there. In the mazes you could lead a lost animal, like a baby fox, back to his family; or sheep to it's flock, etc.
Or a series with National Gardens, using placement of water, waterfalls, flowers, fish, animals, and learn about world gardens instead of cities. Spending a lot of time in Vermont makes me naturally like forests way more than cities and in general I prefer spending time there.
This DEV thinks outside of the grid :) AND I LOVE IT. Keep them coming and I'll keep on buying!!
I recommend this game!

I liked many things about this game. I felt some areas have room for improvement and it could be ultimate in its class.
Like the game, The Voice of Heaven (my favorite M3 by this DEV)... the mechanics are pretty much the same with this one. The basics that most M3 have are here and there is a building feature you earn currency for. In both these games, you have 6 upgrades you work toward and you match certain tile icons to refill each upgrade as the game progresses. The upgrades are then used to help clear the board.
Relaxed mode does justice for people that like to fast match, like me, where you need to collect items to refill your upgrades quickly as you clear the tiles on the board. It is also geared to people that enjoy limited moves, in options, if you prefer a more concise matching game.
I loved the fact items were moving beside the play grid, such as sailing ships and flying birds. I also loved that the building screen had moving items such as flowing water, etc. Many of the other M3s now a days seem to have a static background building screen with no moving parts; so I loved this one felt more detailed and involved which made the game feel like they put way more time and money into it than a lot.
This game also gives you enough money to buy new items pretty much every level or so. I absolutely loved that about this game because so many of the M3 don't give you enough $ to work with....like life :)
I wasn't a huge fan of what you get to purchase though. The buildings and items seemed too small. I play on a large monitor and this would be even worse on a small computer.
The match board seemed a good size for me and I had no issues with that.
A few things I would tweak to perfect it would be:
- The gold rims around the tile, instead of an entire color over the tile. It made it hard to locate where they were and especially at the end of the level to finish the board.
-The bombs don't blow up enough tiles and they need a larger boom imo.
- Finally, I wish the DEV would change the sound effects between the M3 games they put out. And discontinue sound of match 5 ding- in this game, altogether // It's usually a M4 sound in their other games) Many of this DEV M3 games have the same sounds and effects.
My favorite M3 by this developer is The Voice from Heaven.
If you enjoyed this game, maybe try the BFG demo for:
Hero's of Hellas 3- Athens
My faults with this game are minor technical things and I do recommend trying it out to see if you like it too.
I recommend this game!

BASED ON COMPLETED DEMO
This game was created in 2014 so the graphics aren't as crisp as some of the newer games. The boards seem small at first but new areas do open as you progress by matching next to locks.
It begins with a Barbie-like princess who's voice actor sounds as if she is addressing children. Your first task is a fragment find HOS, which I wasn't huge on right off the bat. At first I didn't think I would like this game but it grew on me over time. I was really enjoying it when the demo ended.
I love that you can match items quickly; even when tiles are falling. There is a lot to do, and upgrade bombs etc. that will help your progress. It does NOT have limited moves (YAY!).
It is definitely a "cutesy" M3 more geared to children, but I'm an adult female and I was still having fun with it.
This game's "windowed mode" is on the small side @ 14" diag. so it did degrade the graphics a bit on a larger monitor. Thankfully, the widescreen setting seemed to adjust on its own.
Music is on a repetitive loop that I found annoying but the ambient effects are outstanding, such as tweeting birds, frogs & wind chimes. So I turned off the music and turned up the environment volume to high. I also liked the game play effects.
Eventually, a 5 eyed bear appears (personally wish he had 2 eyes) once you "drop baskets" down the play board. He requires you to fill his basket with several of 2 types of items, such as 10 berries. I couldn't identify what some of these icons were.
What you match for: There is a "scenic land" (it's a bit dull due to the style of graphics) screen that you buy items for. You make pastel-like background fill with various items. I liked that they moved and reacted to the environment. I wished you could purchase something every level but at least it was every other level or so.
All in all, this is a cute M3 that I had fun playing. If you liked this game you may want to demo Kitty Sanctuary (& Puppy Sanctuary) as they will appeal to both children & adults also.
I recommend this game!

My initial thought after playing the first level was- this is a low budget M3. Sadly, that thought remained to the end of the demo. There is no map that ticks off what level you are on; instead there are floating lands that I assume open up after later levels.
You can only play on Easy or Normal mode and can't change that status without restarting the game.
It has all the things you'd expect in a M3 as far as gameplay but for some reason I realized I wasn't having fun playing it. There is matching over colored squares, next to boxes, bombs, dynamite, through chains and the levels get harder each time.
My biggest complaint-
LIMITED MOVES: You can't match just for the fun of it. You have to think out every match so you don't run out of moves.
Most times, if you run out of moves you can purchase a small amount more to end the level but by Level 17 it told me to restart the level altogether. There is no place to change this in options.
Purchasing extra moves. How fun is that, really?
And the reason/reward for matching isn't much better.
**********potential spoiler alert*********** Items are added to your island and the first item I won was a cheetah skin over 2 sticks.
They could have had a live cheetah chasing a butterfly or romping around. So again, a huge disappointment.
********end spoiler************
Later it takes several times to "buy" an item for the island because not only are you required to have money but you need these yellow stars as well. You'll notice quickly that you have plenty of money but will often need 2 or 3 stars MORE to get a new item. That is so disappointing. At the very least give us a new item to buy each level or a minimum of every other level.
I wish they'd make the reason for matching better, because the entire game would be better. Here are some of my favorite M3, to help the DEV with ideas. They all have a fun reasons for matching.
~ Kitten Sanctuary & Puppy Sanctuary- both games a blast
~ Fishdom Seasons under the Sea- You build tanks and
get a screensaver to keep of the tank after the game ends.
~ Jewel match series- mostly building castles and some give
you wallpapers to keep every few levels.
~ Queens Garden series- You select items for a garden and
the areal view shows your little people walking through the
garden you created.
Try the demo for Lost in the Night (by this DEV) it's a fantastic M3 and one of my favorites to this day. I highly recommend that one instead of this game.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a Delicious-Like game with a spin. This DEV has thought out of the box to change up the usual gameplay of this type of TM. I absolutely loved it.
It is not easy either but you become more accustomed to game play the more levels you complete. The only extras I can see in this CE are extra levels and getting the diamonds to earn for a case-book. So I wasn't huge on the extras, not enough pull to buy the CE version.
All of the "basic tasks" that are in the Delicious games are here, with some other tasks added that really make it a real challenge by comparison. I loved them and they are an improvement to most TM of this type.
Instead of clicking on a check-out register to complete your people out, you click on a police officer instead. Since he changes position each level or so, this can sometimes offer more challenge as well.
Your little task bubbles will show different areas in a room that have a matching shape; a square, circle, or a triangle. Unlike the Delicious games some of your clients need to be moved to different shaped areas, before they will go to the check out officer.
This game has a more serious storyline then most of the Delicious-like games and it's more like the 3 games in "The Hearts Medicine" series, in that way.
I liked that Parker, your female character, has more intelligence than we see in games of this type.
The only things I would tweak to perfect this game are minor;
They are: I prefer Carl the mouse to squeak instead of the cutsie female sound effect(s) that didn't fit this deeper storyline. I wasn't a fan of the precise clicking (though it gets easier as you learn). By that I mean, The little orange icon above the client's head would have to be clicked on exactly. Several times I would have to replay something because I'd clicked the character and not that orange icon box and thought I'd done that person already to only have to tend to them again. One final thing was closing out the minigames. I loved the MG, and the amount of them, but I didn't like that it needed one final click on the window when the MG was completed in order for the MG box to close. Those last two flaws make your progress stumble.
I own and have completed most of this type of game. The earlier CE versions of Delicious made me want to buy that version as there was enough bulk for the extra money; not so in these newer versions (aside from Dr. Cares #1 because I love helping animals and it was a must own simply for that fact).
My favorites in the Delicious group are:
1. Delicious #4 Taste of Fame (2009)
2. Delicious #6 Emily's Childhood Memories (2011) This
game has the best CE content of this type.
3. Delicious #7 True Love (2011)
4. Delicious #8 Wonder Wedding (2013)
5. Delicious #9 Honeymoon Cruise (2014)
And here are some other Delicious-Like games to demo if you haven't already, they are of similar type (I put them in order of my favorite games):
1. Dr. Cares: Pet Rescue 911 (2017) I loved the animals.
2. Heart's Medicine Series has 3 games (2015-17)
3. Maggie's Movies: Camera, Action! (2017)
4. The Love Boat (2017)
5. Mary Le Chef: Cooking Passion (2017)
6. Fabulous, Angela's.... (has 2 games in series)
My only dislikes with Parker & Lane #1 are simple technical flaws and all in all this game is a blast and I will be buying the SE if it comes out as one. The CE version would have to have more available, like we see in Delicious: Childhood Memories.
Thank you to the DEV! This game is SO well done and you should be proud!!
I recommend this game!

I liked a few things about this M3 but it just didn't have enough to do. You don't build anything or work for matching in any way. The basic point is to match several types of one item each level while wiping out a number of silver & gold squares.
There is a cave room but it's entire purpose is pointless! You enter it and see each level that a new item appears with a glowing red area around it. Once you finish the next level one item will glow green instead of red. I could not figure out what the point was.
You frantically collect these spinning gold coins (get them quick as they disappear) and have no idea where, or why, to use them until level 15. An upgrade hammer appears (2 other upgrades you see will unlock at some point). The hammer is used ONE time then you need to purchase another hammer for 50 coins. You really only need the hammer for the end of a level to get to those tricky silver corner squares that matching didn't rid. Around this time I had accumulated 12050 in coins! I couldn't understand why you'd need so much money to use/buy an upgrade ONE USE AT A TIME.
There was only 1 HOS in the demo and it was finding several of 1 item. It took me around 25 seconds because the items weren't hidden.
The music and sound effects are pretty good. The graphics are great and the icons were great.
If they make another game like this I'd suggest adding something to use your coins on. That cave is pointless. So it would be great to be able to build something. I always like when they offer a screensaver or wallpaper to build towards keeping as "winnings" like we see in the game Fishdom Seasons Under the Sea.

Here is another M3 that feels like it was designed for a phone or tablet.
The goal is to serve 3 customers at a time that appear at a counter and you serve them various types of cupcakes. Over time you need to match NEAR items, as well, such as whipped cream and cookies in order to make them appear and fulfill that customer's order.
Graphics are very clear and cartoonish. I didn't like the goofy style of the characters either.
The boards are VERY small at first, 4 tiles x 4 tiles and get bigger with levels. By level 10 the tiles get smaller and it's around 9 x 9. The game itself does not fill a PC monitor. To see what I mean- refer to the 3 little descriptive windows on the games Title Page. For PC there is blurred space on either side of the monitor and on a larger monitor, like mine, there is 14" total of useless space. It is obvious this would not be the case if it was only required to fill the small vertical space of a tablet. The map shows there are 90 levels of gameplay.
LIMITED MOVES: I can't stand a M3 that has limited moves and no other options of gameplay choice in the Options Menu. The first time you'll notice the limited moves is in Level 1-10. This gives the entire game a feeling of it being a lower budget compared to many other PC M3 offered here.

If I was actually reviewing this game for a tablet/phone I guess I'd give it a rating of 3 but since it's for a PC with the higher price tag... I'd say save your money or buy it for your smaller device. There are just way better M3 out there to spend your time on.
Of course demo it, just in case, you may love it, but this one is a no buy for me on all fronts.
I don't recommend this game.
