It's such a shame that such an interesting series has been getting worse and worse with every sequel. Maybe they should just conclude and move onto something else?
I don't recommend this game.

I liked the concept when I played the demo and thought it was really pretty, but when I started playing the full version I got frustrated with how cluttered this game is. It's hard to find things and going back and forth to your house is a little annoying. I got bored very soon.
I don't recommend this game.

I played all of these, in full version, but this one is EXACTLY the same. Literally nothing has changed and I was getting bored. There's not much of a plot, and it's odd Elizabeth is STILL the villain and connected to ALL the plots. I only played the demo and decided not to buy, even though I'm a stickler for finishing all the series.

I don't know why people are ragging on this game while giving others high scores! This game was unique! The visual quality weren't extravagant but at least it was original and funny... I like the interactive dialogue and the funny leprechaun and I quite enjoyed this game! I'm gonna play the others in the series too now!
I recommend this game!

This is a unique adventure game. Very difficult, though it gets increasingly easier once you figure out the game's mechanism. The story, dialogue and voice acting is excellent. The atmosphere is very creepy and the goriness and sheer horrific elements of Sherlock's findings sneak up on you! It makes you uneasy and not for the lay person who just wants a simple adventure, like a HOG.
The graphics are unfortunate but this company has probably a low budget. The game makes it really difficult for you to enjoy it for the first few hours because it's had to navigate, find things and it starts off really slow. Bear with it!!!
I recommend this game!

High praise for this wonderful HOG series! The second installment was even better but had all the elements I liked in the first one; simple, straight to the point HOPs and puzzles, cuteness and nice art. I like simply games like this, reminds me of Dark Tales (one of my favourites).
I recommend this game!

I liked it, it was creepy. Really simple and straightforward with good but not over the top artwork. The atmosphere was well done and the story original. Yeah, some of the voice acting was goofy but not overly so. The HOPs were a bit boring and some things are hard to find, but the puzzles were challenging.
I recommend this game!

This game reminds me of the old school MCF's. Its very simple and yet challenging if you don't use hints. I found it a lot of fun and am excited to play the others in the series.
I recommend this game!
