Thank goodness for Grandma .. my favorite developer. With the loss of so many of our favorites and no new ones coming along I truly appreciate the effort of Grandma to continue to produce our games. That being said I do agree that it wasn't up to the standard of the earliest games in the series but was certainly entertaining! Bring back my owl !!!!!! The HOPs were varied and fun, and so the puzzles were a good mix of easy and more challenging so I didn't mind so much skipping the harder ones. I will continue to support Grandma in whatever comes along.
Step into the shoes of a Private investigator with short-term memory loss and uncover the shocking truth about his involvement with a serial killer called The Executioner.
When I took the survey for the beta I commented how disappointed I was that the leprechauns did not have Irish accents and played a few minutes of the released game to see if that had been improved. Sadly NOT and in my opinion it takes away from the whole experience.
I request to all developers to give us equal numbers of HO scenes to puzzles. And if you are going to give us an easy option make it real easy.
One thing I really did appreciate is on custom you could skip at zero seconds!
What fun I had while going on this wonderful adventure with these seafarers. Jack was accompanying Jane in a quest to find her father. The best part for me was I didn't feel like the adventure was interrupted by one puzzle after another. While the HOs weren't the most creative they were rather interactive. I for one am anxious for a sequel to rid the curse!! I enjoyed how Jack and Jane got separated and the story was told by one and then the other throughout the game. Excellent story, GREAT voice overs. Well done.....
The bonus game told how Jack happened to be on her ship in the first place.

The first two games in the series were so excellent that the series became my new favorite. But starting with the 3rd and including this one it has veered so far off from the originals I can't recognize them anymore... the games are too sweet and the fear factor is gone. I sure do miss the shape changers and all the creativity that I loved.

After replaying the beta for this game I could see how much work and care went into providing us with a game that's different and somewhat challenging and best of all it's a Standard Edition !! So, purchased it immediately and looking forward to finishing it.
Even though there's little in the way of customized settings, the hint fills pretty quickly and for the puzzles the hint button becomes the skip which also fills quickly.
Good map that will be an asset.
So thank you Specialbit Studios and hope we can do more business again in the future.
What a gem of a game!!!!!!!!!! Loved it. The hidden object scenes were SO varied and original. I usually won't purchase a game with twice as many puzzles as HOs but this particular game offered so many that even I actually enjoyed and didn't skip for a change. At one point (I think it was in the guide) I spotted "time played" and intended to go back and check it out before the main game was over but forgot. I WISH somehow that feature was more available and visible when one finishes a game.. that all developers would do that.
Bonus game was average in length and fairly fun, too.
I think that so far in 2019 this game is at the top of my favorites list and I will probably replay sometime in the future while waiting for another Grandma Game .

Late to the party but simply must add my 5 stars to this terrific game. Eipix has proven it can provide so much more than eye candy graphics and run of the mill entertainment.
Thoroughly enjoyed the HO scenes and even some of the puzzles. The adventure part of the game kept moving with tasks that were fun to complete.
Excellent story telling and as long as Eipix produces Anderson Accounts of this caliber I will continue to happily purchase! Great bonus game, too!
