Played the full hour on my touchscreen PC with no issues at the relaxes level. What I really enjoyed was the fast action, identifiable goals and watching/hearing the goats when you touch them (hysterical!)
I made it through the levels finding the puzzle pieces, achieving gold and silver star status and really having fun listening to the sounds and music.
Like the other games it isn't necessary to take everything off the board and you really need to keep the goals in mind to get the gold status.
I'm buying the game.
I recommend this game!

I thoroughly enjoyed the play and found it engrossing and challenging. The hour was up in what seemed like fifteen minutes.
I don't think the dialog was particularly helpful like in some other HOG's but you never know if you'll be told about something special to look for and get extra hints or trophies. There is what area where you'll talk to someone on the train and that had me laughing cause of the geekiness of the dialog.
I highly recommend!

This game is a BLAST and what better way to stay thin than making and playing with virtual chocolate. Now, it took me a good 15 minutes to get the hang of what I was doing cause I don't think the directions are especially great - However, once you get down pat how to make the chocolate bars in the factory - the rest is a really competitive game of buying, selling and haggling! I LOVE IT!
I bought this game as soon as the time was up cause, you know...it's chocolate and I don't want it to melt : ) Yum, chocolate.
Okay, you start off in San Francisco and you need to move the cursor around a bit cause different establishments will light up and give you different information or you can purchase ingredients to make your candy bars, etc. Once you go a few rounds on the first level you are able to design and name your company!
Next you travel to different destinations, buying ingredients, selling candy bars, or perhaps playing gambling with the locals. There's so much going on with this game that I would consider it strategy, time management and designing.
Bought and played another 3 hours and was never bored - and it teaches math, probability, history and life skills! Are you sold? I am - maybe I'll buy it twice...oh wait! There's two more of these games - so, I'll get them instead ; )
I recommend this game!

I'm sure this is a great game for puzzle people. Moving items in the direction of an arrow with as few moves as possible. I'd rather play the match games than this though.
With that said, this won't convert me to playing puzzles any more than it would convert me to playing word games. Too much thinking - like chess. After working in finance all day I don't want to think - I want to find objects, buy items in time management or bash things!
I thought this was easy enough in the first ten minutes so I quit knowing I wouldn't want to have to think as the levels advanced.
Not my cup of cocoa!
I don't recommend this game.

I like the house building, road building, rescue type of time management versus the restaurant find the ingredient type of TM's.
I only played for 10 minutes because I thought it was boring and not really sure why this is labeled as a HOG. The game is okay unless you've played other TM's like Road to Rome, Rescue Me and Fairy Godmother Tycoon.
I think this is probably more for the younger players or someone who likes to cook would probably enjoy this...I'm dieting so I don't need to think about food while playing ; )
It does remind of another TM that was about building grocery stores ... pretty similar.
I don't recommend this game.

I love Wizard of Oz - I have a bedroom dedicated to all things Oz. With that said, this one is for the kiddies. It tells the story and has great icons that are fun and build on each step. My favorite was the tornado - at least for the nine levels I played to see if this would get more challenging.
I played for 26 minutes and 15 of those minutes wasn't on the computer but out in the yard with my dog. I really think this is a great one for the kids and teaching shapes, colors, etc.
I'm recommending strictly for kids about age 8 and under cause there really isn't anything much challenging or to learn for anyone older.
I recommend this game!

The makers start off with a warning about this game being scary and to play with the lights off and volume up for optimum effects...so, I kept the lights on but did turn the volume up...I had to turn it back down - I scare easily.
I liked the game - it's an asylum type HOG with the spooky hospital, freaky evil doctor and a little kid running around that I don't know if she was suppose to be helpful or not - I'll have to buy the game and see!
It's a fairly dark environment, not meaning the storyline (but that's really dark) but the visual parts. Normally, that just ticks me off but I could still find the hidden objects and the puzzles were different and not something I've seen in other HOGs.
With the wind blowing outside at 30mph that also added to the scare factor, along with my dogs sharing their point of view over the spooky man's voice - they didn't like him and started barking every time he spoke, which cracked me up!
I played the regular mode and I don't think I made it very far - lots of searching and trying to figure out what worked where and that's my favorite part! I like to gather lots of items and then start using them. The tension builds throughout the game cause you've got Mr. Creepy Voice, scary music (wind outside!), restless dogs (inside!) and I'm waiting for something to happen, cause after all, I've been warned by the game makers...then it happens! Something wild and then my hour is up!
My heart is still racing as I'm writing this cause I'm not sure if I should go ahead and buy this game to keep my heart attack going at maximum speed or try to relax with all the lights on and wait until tomorrow so I can get scared all over again...hmmm.
I liked this game. I'll buy it eventual, just not tonight cause I really do want to get some sleep without having all the lights on!
I recommend this game!

This wasn't a game for me because I don't like it when the game designer/maker simply makes items small or even takes the items mostly out of the scene then wants the player to "hover" over every little inch and wait for the hand icon to light up...nah - this wasn't my cup of tea.
Personally, I wouldn't buy this cause I didn't care for the challenges.
Now, what I did like about this was the story character "Tom". At first I thought this was suppose to be Tom Sawyer - looks like him, certainly acts like him. Tom is obnoxious which makes me laugh.
Everything about the game was "okay" but didn't really entice me into buying it. So, for a Collector's Edition I'm disappointed. HOWEVER, I would buy this on the $2.99 daily sale if it came up just to see what happens and if the sister/wife/cousin (not sure who she is other than bossy) smacks Tom upside his head. Actually, that would make for a pretty good game - every time he opens his mouth, she smacks him with whatever happens to be lying around.
I don't recommend this game.

I feel like the youtube "Ultimate Dog Tease" and I'm the dog! The game ended and I'm all "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..." So, I BOUGHT IT! Yep, what is it about the Collection Editions that make them so superior that I can't wait for them to be released in the simpler story?
Yes, this got me hook, line and sinker - get it? It's the story of a ship wrecked couple and the gal is trying to find the guy and gets hints here and there of the mysterious evil on the island. I like this game, the graphics are cool - a little dark to where I had to squirm around in my chair for better lighting in some of the scenes but that's probably cause I need a bigger screen...yep, that's what I'm going with - I need a bigger screen to capture all the awesomeness of this game ; )
The puzzles aren't nearly as complicated as the directions for the puzzles and some of the item names in the HOG scenes left me scratching my head and really guessing - like what a British person might call something vs. what we call it in the States - HINT - it's a file people, a FILE...okay, that's a big hint that will have you shaking your head and agreeing with me if your in the states.
The music is like most of the other games. In my opinion you really need to have the music turned on and up to get the real atmosphere that the game makers what you to experience...you know, kind of keeping you on the edge.
The hour went by fast, and I sincerely enjoyed the game.
I mark myself as an intermediate player because I don't play the expert level on any of the games - this is my relaxing time not my stressing time...so, there you have it and I hope it helps you in deciding to play.
I recommend this game!

First off - SNAKE! Don't touch it - seriously, I wet my pants a little cause I tried to smack it....okay, I jumped and knocked over my soda which had my boyfriend cracking up. I was startled, a lot!
The graphics are unbelievable - it's like watching a movie. Seriously, these folks spoil you and other games just don't meet this level of beauty. For once the music is different - still creepy so you get those "Jaws" kind of moments if you have the music cranked up...duna, duna, duna, duna, duna.
Challenging game play - moving back and forth through the scenes (avoiding that stinking snake and then wondering what else is going to scare me - yeah, they get in your head big time) great puzzles, interesting hidden objects scenes with puzzles in them...all in all a really terrific game.
For once I didn't make it through the test version within 40 minutes...played the full hour and then the screen goes black and started yelling "nooooooo" so, I had to buy it! Yes, it's that good!
I recommend this game!
