This game has a story, but it is told to you.
For the most part there are piles of junk that you must go look through. You must pick out the pieces that look alike. This can be timed or untimed. I failed on the timed segment because I could not pick out the matching pieces fast enough. Apparently, You must find all the matching pieces before the timer stops, or you will have to play that segment over and over again. The game will not progress until you finish the segment.
I found this tedious and boring so I disabled the timer.
There are other games like puzzle pieces. That was better, but I still found the overall game a bore.
I don't recommend this game.

I hardly ever give a game five stars, but this one is a masterpiece.
I got a little frustrated because there is no hint button, but that's the beauty of it. You have to use your wits and logic and figure it out.
Adam Wolfe is a ghost hunter of sorts, sort of like Constantine. He is in an ongoing quest in search of his sister who has been taken to some other-worldly realm. The game is much like a serial comic book, with chapters and comic book type panels at times.
We need more of these types of games.
I recommend this game!

This game didn't seem to know which age group it was aiming at. The graphics and story line (someone disguised as a father kidnaps child and takes her to the netherworld) was creepy, and for adults. but the talking doll was silly and for a much younger group. The step by step instructions were a bit too much. I didn't enjoy playing it.
I don't recommend this game.

This game has a lot more interactivity than we usually get. The other character seems to respond to my actions, as if I am talking to another person. Usually if an animated character is in the room it just ignores you. This character responded as if there were actually two of us in the room. How cool is that?
There are lots of videos: at least at the beginning. I only played the trial version. It starts out with lots of action as you try to save your and your friend from a doomed aircraft.
Definitely try this one out or buy it.
I recommend this game!

This story links several princesses together with a brother/prince and Rapunzel's dark sister.
You travel through several lands and gather tokens to open several princess stories.
the colors are bright but not too childish.
Fun game
I recommend this game!

I only played the sample version of this game but it was a whole lot of fun. You start out by being murdered. Your son is kidnapped and you go after him. But you get to enjoy all the paranormal activity there is in being a ghost, including scaring the bejesus out of the living. You meet with other murdered relatives and release their souls one by one. It takes energy to handle and move solid objects and you must renew your energy once in a while. There are also spells cast on objects to keep ghosts out, that you must find your way through.
Really cool game.
I recommend this game!

This is a Dorian Gray type story where a painter trades souls to the angle of Death in exchange for his own.
This game has a lot of places to visit and revisit. For me there was no way I could remember all the places to go back to that had something to be done, and which ones were finished, and how to get there, so the map was invaluable.
I hated the angel. she had no place in the game and was a visual sore thumb.
The visual elements seemed a little bit of a hodgepodge, with graveyards, mechanical beasts, dragons, angels, a sword in a stone, ghosts children, puppets, magic crystals, a vampire, and yes, a raven.
It was a good romp. I recommend it.

This game starts out with frustrating details. You are a detective who is also a medium of sorts. You can touch objects and through them, travel back in time to collect clues from crime scenes.
When you first travel you find many objects to investigate but nothing can be used until you find missing pieces. there is an ice bucket tongue that you can't remove, a zipper you can't unzip, things you can't open, tings you can't move or pick up: it goes on and on. And this is the first five or ten minutes of the game.
Once you run all over finding things you need to do things you need so you can do other things the game finally gets moving.
I've only played the trial version so far. I hope the rest of the game is not so tedious.
I recommend this game!

This was your usual HOG but they did not dominate the game.
I found the story line a bit confusing. Who is the villain and who is the victim? The game meandered so much that I got frustrated running back and forth doing minor tasks. It was as though the creators added tasks to keep the game going so players wouldn't feel cheated.
At the end of the game I still had two items left. Either I didn't play the game correctly or those items were not needed.
It ended on an odd note. I'll leave it at that.

This game actually made me want to seek out a jazz club. Sometimes i just let the music play for a minute or two before i continued the game.
I was a little grossed out toward the end with the sailor. But i won't give away that pert.
I recommend this game!
