Cute game which makes one think. This is not an easy game at all - reminds me of prof fizzwizzle.
Very early on at level 5 you already need to think outside the box to get the mouse to the cheese. There are 80 levels in all and the game gets progressively harder. Nice game to relax into after playing the dark HOPA.
We are given blocks shaped like tetris blocks which aid in helping the mice jump from one place to the next. You can move or reshape the blocks by right clicking. There are also bombs to help pop the crates. Take care when dropping the blocks - I squashed a mice ooops but the cute thing turned to a ghost when I accidentally killed it.
MEGA TIP: Keep an eye out for the "undo your last move" button at the left hand side. All the other play buttons are on the right side. i only noticed the undo button at level 4. This button is a big help so you need not re-start the level when you accidentally dropped the block in a wrong position.
BONUS: We collect shards along the way, there are achievements, rewards and videos you can unlock after getting to a certain level. You can also check how well you played by going into the Stats from the menu.
later on in the game you get to play underwater. Enjoy!
I would have given it 5 stars if the devs allowed us time to read through the introduction. It zipped through in a flash there was not enough time to read some important details.
You might want to turn off the sound as It is gets annoying after a while. Try the game. Definitely cute but not for the little ones.
I recommend this game!

This one is one of my all time fave. Played it five times and still get heaps of enjoyment each time. I like games with lots of variety in puzzles and this game definitely has heaps - from easy to difficult. Without skipping the puzzles and taking my time to solve each one, the game took me over 7hours so well worth the price and re-play value.
Bear in mind this is an old game so no map, no VO, no inventory locks; our hint comes in the form of our trusty old "frog" which tells us exactly what to do. IMHO this is the best one in the series. The newer ones in the series do not come anywhere near the fun factor that this game has. As always try before you buy.
I recommend this game!

Mystery trackers is one of my all time fave; comes close to the MCF games. I really enjoyed the first two in this series heaps better than this one.
Great VO, intro grabs your attention, heaps of HOs which comes in list form and you can use your inventory in the HOS. Lots of puzzles, no challenge at all, way too easy.
Great value for money as this is one long game (over five hours).
We get a jump map but it is not 100% accurate. The hint on the other hand tells you everything. Hint comes in the form of our trusty old "frog" which tells you exactly where to go and what to do; Devs please give us a hint NOT the solution.
Still an enjoyable detective game. As always try the game before you buy.
I recommend this game!

I almost did not buy this -I was put off by the ugly cat and could not even finish the demo due to the cat. Glad I persevered and bought the game. It is a great game with a great story. What a shame the annoyingly ugly cat is right in your face all throughout the game. Not just as a helper but also as the narrator of the story as it unfolds.
The game is not too short nor is it too long that one gets bored. It took me over four hours without skipping puzzles. There are seven chapters. Game play is fun and light, puzzles were on the easy side, glad there was a jump map lots of backtracking, lockable inventory, great VO, graphics were lovely as we fly to different kingdoms and far away places.
This is one of the very few games I finished in one day which means I had fun and totally enjoyed this one!
Try to ignore the ugly cat and focus on the game you may just end up liking it.
I recommend this game!

Now this is what gaming is about. Lovely graphics, soft soothing music, jump map, lockable inventory, different iHOS where you have think about the clue to find the HO example 1-12 is a clock, or woman + fish = mermaid. The objects are not cluttered, HO are nicely hidden but not to the point your eyes have to squint.
Puzzles on the easy side yet enjoyable and some are new. What an intro it was like watching a movie! I agree this could win one of the best yearly awards. Well done Eipix.
I enjoyed the game so much I actually read the credits to the end -which is a first for me. DO take time to read the credits its very funny. It's not just names in there. They describe each other in a way that's related to the game....kudos! Shame the credits went by so fast I could not keep up nor could it be paused.
Why not five stars? Some VOs were irritating to listen to, one was pretending to have a child's voice; the other was the forced Irish accents which was so painful to listen to. But problem can be solved - next time I will turn off the sound and just read the lines.
Almost five hours gaming time for me - I enjoy the cut scenes and the graphics and not go rushing to the finish line. I really enjoyed this well worth the money. I should've bought the CE.
I recommend this game!

Excited to see a sequel...disappointed after 20 minutes. It just dragged on and on. It wasn't until Maria appeared 50 minutes later when the game spiced up a bit tho' not enough to get me interested.
The collectibles which looked like hidden portals with books inside them and the morphing objects made my eyes squint a lot. Perhaps cute Gears would have been a better collectible option?
The first game had me buying the CE 20 minutes into the demo. This one should go back to the drawing board. It's not bad but it's not good either. I might wait for the SE since finding the collectibles and morphs will be close to mission impossible for me. Do try it you might like it.
I recommend this game!

Basic HOG and some items are quite hard to find which adds some challenge. You collect 59 tin cans and mirros in each HOS. The more mirrors you collect the more hints you have. The tin cans are hidden really well as the games progress which adds more challenge.
When you complete the game, you unlock the "mirror mode" which is exactly the same game but played in reversed (as shown in the mirror) - loved the challenge! As there are actually two games this game is good value for money. First game took me well over 5hrs without skipping any puzzles.
This is an older HO game but I still enjoy it every now and then.
I recommend this game!

A relaxing way to spend one afternoon - took me 5hours wihtout skipping puzzles. The story is complete without needing to pay for CE price to get an ending PLUS there are 55 masks to collect -some are quite hard to spot. well done devs...if this had a jump map I would have given it 5stars.

Haven't written a review for ages but had to thank devs & BFG for giving us this game. Thanks fishies for all the reviews I was convinced to buy and I'm glad I did.
I normally play 30 mins per day and finish a game in one week. Not so with this one. I enjoyed the game and got so involved it took me only two days- that's 2.5hrs in one go!
The VO and sceneries are great -like I was watching a fairytale movie! With a jump map, lockable inventory and a journal I had everything I wanted in a game. For an SE it's great value for money. I should have gone for CE. I wish BFG would give us that "upgrade" option *hint*hint* That way we only top up payment & not need to have both versions of one game.
If you like fairytales, easy puzzles & a different twist of HO
try this game....you might enjoy it as much as I did. This one's a keeper. I am off to play it again!
I recommend this game!

I hardly buy CE as I do not care much for extras - wallpapers, collectibles, artwork, etc but this along with two other games was an exception.
This is worth the extra money as you get THREE bonus chapters, replayable HOS until you get all the morphing ones or if you want to beat your previous time.
I have already played it twice. I normally wait couple months before playing the same game twice; then again this was an exception. What an amazing game! Took me almost six hours for the main game + two hours for three bonus chapters. Plus re-playable value... wow what great value for money! Thanks devs and BF.
This is one game you need not try....click buy and have hours of fun!
I recommend this game!
