The game is boring. The story is boring. A ghosts thing see a zillion times. (¬＿¬)
The design, the graphics, the colors, the music are great. But there is no challenge : collectibles, hos and puzzles are too easy. The story and the repetitive tasks makes all the experience so-so at his best.
I was hoping after the two first installments that things would improved but no - this game is less good. I replay old MCF and they are SUPER CREEPY, dark and gloomy with psychopath vilains. This is a kid game and not a good one.
They should remastered Dire Groove and Return to Ravenshearst instead of losing their time and my money. There are tons of complains about the fact that DG don't play on W10 (and probably not W11) so, we could have something to enjoy for Christmas 2022.
I don't recommend this game.

Don't understand the 5 stars here...my... the demo experience was just painful !
Nothing is good in this game - i agree with the other reviewers about his age - feels like a 90s game - and not a good one. The graphics are awful - blurry - dull - just ugly. The music is boring, the characters unappealing and the voice over - god - Merlin's voice is the worst i have ever heard in my entire life - kudos to the dev for this one - you win a razzie award ್ ﹏ ್.
Not worth a CE either - almost nothing interesting in it. The game is not fluid and have coding problems too with some bugs. King Arthur's Legend is one of the most beautiful and great story outhere - what a failure ...
Wouldn't have enjoyed it 20 years ago, so don't enjoy it more today. Bought at your own risk ⊙_ʘ

La qualité et le niveau de stratégie m'ont impressionné. Vous devez construire des bâtiments, dégager des routes et atteindre vos objectifs dans le temps imparti. Le mode expert se complète du mode "Battre le record des développeurs" que j'ai utilisé et atteindre les 3✬ ne fut pas chose aisée. Du défi et de la stratégie comme je les aime ❣
Ce jeu ne s'adresse ni aux novices ni aux joueurs qui recherchent la facilité. Il faut réfléchir et se construire une stratégie en tenant compte des nouveaux éléments qui s'ajoutent graduellement. Un jeu long (100 niveaux) avec un guide (dans la version collector) qui pourra être utile aux joueurs de niveau intermédiaire.
Les graphismes sont bien rendus, clairs avec des perso tout mignons et j'ai bien aimé la musique ainsi que la voix du narrateur. Par les mêmes auteurs de la série "Les 12 travaux d'hercules", ce jeu est une réussite sur tous les aspects. Pour ceux qui voudraient y jouer sans contrainte de temps (mode relax n'y étant pas inclue) vous pouvez continuer chaque niveau même après que le chrono ne soit écoulé ; )
J'attends le deuxième volet avec impatience ...

It's been quite some times since i've play a good game here but this one is really good. Lovely story, quality design, beautiful music and entertaining puzzles. The CE worth it, full collectibles, good bonus chapter and more...
I want to play good games, not anything spectacular. I want to enjoy my time and pass a good moment - no need for revolutionary gameplay. When something is well done, even if it's basic, it's a winner for me.

What a letdown ! The synopsis seemed interesting but it is another cookie cutter with a boring story and annoying features. I want a good scary game with a real psycho not an average idiot killer and a non existent plot.
Everything in this game is childish : the colors, the graphics, the characters, the dialogue, the scenario - event the soc have this big red X with the most annoying sound every time you hit a wrong place - feels like a kindergarten experience.
The game is short with very few puzzles. This is my last purchase with this dev - all their games are the same. I replay Dark Alleys: Penumbra Motel instead - this is a good game even if it's old like Methuselah ...

Ce jeu est une copie conforme de la version précédente sortie en 2012 avec quelques nouveautés inintéressantes qui ne vaut pas ce prix faramineux.
Je suis entièrement d'accord avec les avis des autres joueurs : ce site ne fonctionne plus. Tout a débuté avec la fermeture du forum il y a quelques années qui permettaient aux joueurs de trouver nombre de solutions à leurs problèmes de jeux. Depuis silence radio... Le service à la clientèle est exécrable. Personne ne vous répond. Vous recevez un courriel automatisé et un coupon - c'est tout !
Les jeux ne sont plus traduits en français depuis belle lurette. On doit se rabattre sur le site anglophone par dépit. On nous sert des jeux d'objets cachés calqués sur le modèle des tout premiers jeux - sans histoire - sans mini-jeux - sans graphismes de qualité - que des titres inintéressants...
Il n'y a plus de nouveautés depuis des lustres. Je suis membre depuis 2011 et je possède plus de 1000 jeux. Plusieurs d'entre eux ne s'installe plus - code d'erreur par-dessus code d'erreur. Aucune aide de la part du service à la clientèle. Ces jeux ont été achetés et payés sur la base qu'ils seront disponibles en tout temps.
Et maintenant ce sont des jeux "remastérisés" qui prennent le relais. Eh bien - à moins d'être un nouveau joueur, ils n'intéressent personne.
Sur ce, je retourne jouer à mes anciens jeux (ceux qui s'installent). Même après 10 ans - ils sont mieux que la plupart des offres des dernières années ...

This is not a bad game nor a good game - a cookie clutter like all the games of this developer. Noting new or exciting.
But what annoyed me the most was this bee on the hint button. It's not the first time i encounter those kind of annoying thing. Many games have this "distractive too much big and glowy" hint button. I hate them and don't buy those games.
I want a good playing experience without been distracted by something that always move in my screen. That's a basic thing that every developer should know !

J'adore les Christmas Stories. Le graphisme est excellent et chaque décor possède cette ambiance caractéristique de Noël. Il y a beaucoup de détails, des objets anciens, des décorations, des jouets, des confiseries le tout accompagné de belles musiques. Les personnages sont mignons et l'histoire est intéressante avec une touche de féérie.
Le gameplay est classique avec des socs bien construits et amusantes. Les mini-jeux sont rares par contre et faciles. C'est le seul aspect de cette série qui me déplaît. Un bonus intéressant mais un peu court. Le jeu demeure excellent malgré ces inconvénients et saura plaire à ceux qui aiment la magie de Noël ✲ !

Great game. Another hit by GrandMa Studio.
What i love is the old vibe of the MCF fused with modern visual and gameplay. Visiting old locations is super fun and encounter the previous villains reminds me of the oll days. Everything is well done and feel coherent. The graphics are beautiful, and the story is good and credible. Many references to the old games with new devices and stuff.
The level of challenge is on the easy side and the puzzles of Goldberg are not there - this is the only thing i miss. The bonus level is a prequel - i'd prefer a sequel. For the rest, i love the efforts made by this developer and will gladly bought new games from them. Compare to others games of this series (after the gold age) they have done a really good job. Happy Gaming and a great holidays season 2 all ! シ

What a letdown ! This game is sooooo boring. The story is an empty shell. A bunch of ordinary stuff put together without any consistence. The characters are childish and non appealing - they are flat without any personality. Everything is laughable. Nothing to give you any chills or fears.
The mini-games are dull and super easy. The game is short and the bonus chapter is ugly, with blurry scenes and boring hos. On top of that coding problems with lagging, long loading and non-sync dialogue. Some good graphs on the main game and fun collectibles but it's not enough to save this title.
It's been forever now since a good, innovative, interesting, non-childish game have been release here. Sadly, i think all the good developers of the ol days are long gone ....
