The game has very nice graphics, music, cutscenes and voice overs. The storyline is a typical fairy tale, you must save the kingdom and your family. There are also 2 play modes. Didn't play casual, but the expert mode includes sparkles for the HOs.
The HOs are the typical junkpile, but they are clear and crisp with some interaction. The puzzles offer nothing new and are all fairly easy and doable. The game play is somewhat lineary and easy to follow.
Finished in less than my average time, but did enjoy it. Just a nice relaxing game.
I recommend this game!

This game was very slow with an uneven flow to it. The graphics are pretty good, bright and crisp, but nothing else to warrant comment. The intro is comic book style which I haven't seen in some time.
The HOs were very small, messy junkpiles that made items hard to find. There were also FROGs of a sort, except you had to find pieces of the scene, a rather odd play. The puzzles were nothing new and very easy.
Personally I had no desire to find the lost brother and quit after 30 minutes. This game just really fell flat.
I don't recommend this game.

When I first looked at the images, I thought this would be a good family or kids game. However, I don't think it is either. For a family, kid or beginner I think the game would just prove frustrating and unenjoyable.
The graphic were good if cartoonish and the storyline seemed promising. But it turned out to be only promising.
There are no voice-overs, so the characters are constantly "chatting" sometimes relevant, but mostly annoying.
The HOs were big messy junkpiles and some items were difficult to spot or misnamed. The puzzles were nothing new and very easy.
I lasted about 15 minutes before quitting. Overall the game just fell short.
I don't recommend this game.

The graphics as usual are very good. Dark and dreary; however, items are visible. The cutscenes are very well done, and the music quite appropriate. No voice overs and 3 modes of play. The storyline is good, imaginative and adds an interesting touch to the death of Houdini.
The HOs are clear with some interaction. I enjoyed the wordplay, for example, "liquid chicken". Made the HOs entertaining. The puzzles were very good with a fair amount of challenge.
The game comes with the SG, thus the word Deluxe. A very nice feature. Always nice to know the answer is right there if you need it.
Game play was a good length for me, right around my average. So overall an enjoyable and interesting game. The Midnight Mystery games are all very well done, and continually improve.
I recommend this game!

I have to admit to being totally addicted to the Snark Busters Club.
The graphics again are wonderful, the music campy and fun, the storyline as much fun as the first, and the game play entertaining. Unfortunately, no voice overs or modes of play.
This is a FROG game with interactive play in each scene. Most pieces are easy to find, some hidden requiring another piece be placed or an action. There are some puzzles, easy but fun.
Very much like the original but with a new character, Jack Blair, race car driver.
This is a great game for any level of player who just wants a fun play. Great to play after a long day or on a dreary day when you just need something to chase the blahs away.
I highly recommend both Snark Buster games!

You pick up a lovely young hitchhiker only to find she leaves something behind in your car. So you turn around to return it. And so the story begins...
This game has beautiful graphics, dark and gloomy, yet the scenes are all very crisp. The cutscenes and voice overs are really good. And the music is wonderful, not overpowering or "I have to turn it off before I go mad".
The HOs are junkpiles with some interaction, but they are crisp and clear. Very easy on the eyes. There are very few puzzles relatively speaking, and they are fairly simple. I would have enjoyed a few more with a bit more challenge. There are also 2 modes of play, but either could probably be played by any level of player.
This game actually feels more like an adventure than an HO to me.
The atmosphere of the game is what really makes it great. The rain, thunder and lighting really add to it. There are great flashes of white light, and even a few spots that will give you shivers.
The overall length was about average for me. The game is not overly challenging but does make for a satisfying game play.
I recommend this game!

This game has it all. Beautiful graphics, cutscenes, voice overs, live actors, dialogue and even the music. The storyline seems interesting; however, the storyline is not necessarily a key factor to me since they really are much the same.
There are 3 modes of play, the HOs were clear and bright with interactive and the new inventory play. The puzzles were good, the few played in the demo ranged from fairly easy to medium. There are achievements to earn, red flowers to collect, and some wondering around. However, the demo just seemed to imply a uniqueness about the game.
Hints, if needed, tell which item to use from the inventory and where. I don't know if this is unique to this game, but obviously it is very helpful if you get stuck.
I finished the demo in under an hour so that would imply that the game would be average for me. Therefore, I'm going to purchase the CE something I don't normally do.
I recommend this game!

When I first bought this game, I was fairly new to computer games and wasn't sure I was up to the task. And I probably wasn't, but I kept at it. Finally I made it and really did enjoy the game. I will say it took me quite awhile as I would set it aside to play something else before starting again.
So what do you get?
Marvelous graphics
Great storyline
Great sound effects
Puzzles that can drive you mad and others that seem like a snap
360 movement which takes a bit of getting use too
A real mental workout and a lot of satisfaction when done
I highly recommend this game to those who wants go on to the next level but I would also suggest purchasing the SG as well. For those who have played these types of games I think you will really enjoy it.
I recommend this game!

This game has absolutely beautiful graphics. The music and storyline are both fantasy themed making for a light-hearted, airy feel. You travel between the current and backwards places to complete your goal-finding the Snark.
The game itself is a FROG where you have items to assemble and use in each scene. Most items are fairly easy to find with some hidden. The puzzles are few and again are fairly easy. The length was less than my average play time. It is not overly challenging. A good beginner or youngster game.
So what makes this game so good? It is just plain fun to play. It is a great way to lift your spirits on those cold, rainy days. There are no demons, no dark and dreary places just brightly lit colorful locales.
I recommend this game to anyone who just wants something light to play once in awhile.
