I usually love Blue Tea games, so I bought the CE without even playing the trial version. My bad. Though the graphics, music and even the voice overs were good, I found the pace so slow and boring that I didn't even bother finishing the game let alone the bonus chapter.
This game seemed much too short, but maybe that's because I was enjoying it so much. I liked the very limited voice over because I could read at my own pace. Graphics were okay, not as sophisticated as some games, but the rest of the game made up for it. Puzzles (no lists) were fun, though not too hard. Hidden objects were silouhettes, which was fine by me. I liked the storyline a lot. It's a nice, light and refreshing romance with a demensional twist and made a change from the doom, gloom and creepy stories that have become the norm in the HOG catergory.
I knew, within 15 minutes of playing the demo, I wanted this game. I loved everything about it, from the graphics, to the music, to the puzzles. I even enjoyed the bonus chapter, which I sometimes I skip if I'm tired of a game. The story, heroine saves love to save world, is not a new one, but it somehow seemed fresh and appealing in this game. I didn't skip a single cut scene either, in fact I was glued to my computer while I played! My only criticism would be is that the game wasn't long enough. I hope there is a sequel, or at the very least another game soon by these creators. Their other game 'Amber Maiden' was also fantastic.
Great game! Good graphics and interesting story. Lots of twists and turns. HO scenes are not boring, plus there are some really good puzzles. I thoroughly enjoyed this game.
The perfect blend of creepiness, magic and adventure, lots of challenging puzzles, stunning and sophisticated artwork and a compelling story line make this game a winner. Just like a good book, I couldn't resist it, yet dreaded finishing it. One of the best games I've played this year.
