The other reviews gave great details about the game play, so I will just add that this game is a refreshing change from all the dark-gloomy HOG's of late. It offers a very nice mix of HO's, farm management and cute puzzles to keep things from getting tedious. The only thing I didn't like was how small the gems are, but I guess that's why they are a bonus. I will purchase the game now even though I won't get the bonus punch using a free game coupon, but it's worth it. If you're looking for a relaxing change of pace this is it! Enjoy Fish Friends!
Unfortunately this is a no buy for me....I just don't get anything out of having a battle, rather have a romance! But, I felt compelled to write a review to encourage anyone who like this type of game with competition battling to be sure and try it out. The graphic, music, set-up of game play, etc....were all great! I played most of the demo and did enjoy it and who knows, maybe on down the road when I've worn out another 100 games or so....I come back to get this one! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT, especially to the guys out there!
Why? Because I am not a god and I don't believe it is ok to 'pretend' I am in a game. The Dev's simply could have called me their 'leader' and I would have continued on with the trial. It's one thing to refer to ancient Greek mythology gods in a game, but entirely different, and in my humble opinion not right to call me (the player) their god. This goes against my spiritual belief in a supreme being...the one true God and his son Jesus Christ.
Premise was adorable with the little creatures, graphics and music were nice as well but I cannot recommend this game due to storyline content.
Start building your very own amusement park in Dream Builder: Amusement Park! Grow the park by adding the coolest new rides, the yummiest concession stands and the most entertaining attractions.
You are never too old to have fun playing a game and I hope I never get there! I tried a TM earlier today and due to my chronic illness I just couldn't play it fast enough...was feeling a bit down about it and then I saw this game and read 'untimed' and immediately downloaded the trial....good decision as I played about 45 minutes and bought it!
I love the design aspect of the game, the apparent size (length of playing time) and the graphics that are full of colors. This is the same developer that produced Flower Paradise...an M3 that I played many, many hours of and go back to from time to time...this will be the same I'm sure. I expect this game to appeal to all ages and all different genre players because I'm 56 and love M3's, HOGs, Stragegy, Arcade, Brain Teasers....basically all games that are not too fast or too difficult!
Try this game out, I think you will be please you did!
I had tried one or two strategy games before and had a little trouble keeping up (no TM's for me)...cannot do anything timed or fast pace or fast clicking, so I've stayed in the HOG genre but needed a change. Downloaded this game, fell in love with it instantly and finished it in about 3 days, several hours at a time! HINT: To keep your people happy: write on a piece of paper what they LIKE to do and what they DON'T LIKE to do....believe me it will help you a lot because they are more productive when happy. (not that I'm the expert~~~yet!)
Please give this a try ESPECIALLY if you are new to strategy games and I hope you'll enjoy it like I did.
What a wonderful refreshing break from HOG's....I miss my little Promise Land characters already...Ruth, Steven, Karen, Patrick, etc, etc.....47 in all! ;(
Help Lillian discover Titanic’s mysteries and get closer to unveiling the truth behind the disaster that took her great- grandmother’s life 100 years ago.
Played the demo for about 25 minutes and closed it out and will uninstall it. I think this ship's story has been told enough times. However, it might prove useful for someone to take their kids through it for the history as well as the puzzles...which are always good brain food.
Hate to give bad reviews and I am surprised Nat Geo wasted resources on this game...I really like to support them, but cannot purchase this one...maybe next time.
I'll be brief since there are 189 review already...just wanted to say this series is very satisfying to play with extreme attention to detail by dev's so kudos to Elephant games for another winner.
Two complaints 1) some puzzles are too difficult for me, but not just difficult but frustrating, ie: pieces that do not snap into place, a few other puzzles I found to be easy to solve, so this is no major complaint. 2) this one is personal preference, but I get a bit bored with task after task after task and need more cut scenes and character interaction to hold my interest....other than these two irritants, I loved the game and look forward to the next installment which is already out. But I'll wait for SE as these are lengthy games.
I am not good at giving all the specific details of a game...I have poor memory from FM called 'fibro fog'...so I will just say this: IF U LIKE M3 GAMES, IF U LIKE GAMBLING, IF U LIKE BATTLING AND IF U LIKE PIRATES and if you LOVE VARIETY IN A GAME AS I DO......You will absolutely LOVE~~LOVE~~LOVE THIS GAME!
Sorry 2 shout it out but I am amazed at this game play, fun, addicting, adventurous and you can control the level of difficulty by choosing/using various weapons....so I could go on n on n on....but will leave it at: GIVE IT A TRY PLEASE!
Not going to list a lot of specifics as there are usually enough detailed reviews written before I get around to playing a game (have a back log). Just wanted to say in general this was F.U.N. 2 P.L.A.Y. and since I bought it on sale...it was a real steal for the $$ leaving me not a bit bothered that the game was on the shorter side. One of the first games I've played from start to finish in one sitting in a very-very long time...thoroughly enjoyed it and hope you do as well!
This was a good game but a couple of things kept it from being great for me. First of all...dev's: if you are going to have morphing objects do not make them 'maddening to find'. This distracted me throughout the entire game. I am sitting staring at scenes until my eyelids got heavy and I lost track of what I was doing a moment earlier...smh! Secondly, I really appreciate how some HOG's close off areas that will not be used again, I don't know how many times I went back to the lake to see if they had inserted a morphing object! NOPE! Ended the game and still had two MO's I didn't find....now you can say, well, why bother at all looking for them? Once I start something...I HAVE TO finish it! That's me! One other irritation was in the sound effects, the music was pleasant enough and I always play with sound...and with headphones late at night, but in this game the HOS were weird in that if you didn't 'just barely' touch an item on the list you got an awful sound, but you could click around the entire scene multiple times w/o penality??? Made no sense.
It's a shame because I gave Blue Tea's last game Macabre Mysteries high praise and comparing it to this one...this just fell short...they also should have a least used some FROG scenes instead of cutting them out altogether....
Hope next BT game will be better...they really do have talented people! 3.5 STARS TOTAL
You may totally enjoy it and not be bother at all how I was...so please give it a try, it's a good story and has good characters, cut-scenes, graphics, etc....
