It seems from the reviews that people either like or hate this game. I was one of the lucky ones who liked it.
The puzzles use the original illustrations from the book I had as a child, which was really sweet. There are a few challenging minigame puzzles, Match-3, and point-and-shoot.
Some of the hidden objects were very difficult to find, but the hints are plentiful and I used them occasionally, because quality of life. lol
I took one star off because the music was very repetitive, and a couple of the games were tedious.
I played in the standard casual mode, and it took about 3 hours for me to complete. Overall enjoyable.
Try it for yourself and see if you like it or hate it!
I usually love these kinds of games, but this one just didn't do it for me.
The visuals were pretty, but the storyline was pretty terrible, and there was hardly any music. It would only play for a few seconds when you went from one scene to the next. After that, it was almost completely silent.
Some of the mini-games were fun, others weren't challenging at all, and there were some where the purpose wasn't easy to figure out.
It just seems like the developers were in a rush. They didn't develop the story, script or music to any degree.
Maybe you'll like it better than I did. I hope so.
The graphics and music are really awesome in this game. I only took one star off for excessive "achievement" pop-ups that detract from game immersion. Also, many of the mini-games weren't really a challenge.
Other than those two issues, this game was really fun!

Distracting and annoying "achievements" that pop up, make loud sounds and detract from the enjoyment of the game. The story line was predictable and formulaic.
I just think they could have done so much better. The game itself feels really dumbed down, and focuses more on instant gratification of the pop-up achievements.
