First of all, sorry for the long review.
"Enigma Agency" appeared to have an interesting and original storyline as well as locations, but the only good thing about it was the graphics and the music.
What I liked:
-The graphics are really beautiful and you can see that they were done by great artists.
-The music was one of the things I liked most, really creepy and mysterious, spot on.
-The hidden objects scenes weren't many, which was great and the artwork was beautiful too and pleasant to look at and look for the objects.
What I didn't liked:
-The map was practically useless. Apart from showing the tasks you had to do, you couldn't jump from one place to another, and although the locations were never too far from each other, it's always a great feature that makes the gameplay less tiring.
-There were always way too many tasks to perform and so I lost my way quite a lot of times, especially in the mansion grounds.
-I felt that they exagerated in the number of puzzles, really. It's different from most games, it is, but everytime I finished a tough puzzle here came another and it was always like this.
-Some of the puzzles, if not the biggest part of them, were kind of difficult. Although sometimes I don't mind the extra challenge, some of them would make me give up and skip it. I think this is not a very good feature because the average and the beginner player will probably have a hard time on this game and that most certainly will make them give up on playing the game or refer to it has being ridiculously difficult.
-There was something else I noticed about this game. Everytime I found the object I've been looking for for ages, some disaster would happen. Take for example when I finally managed to dug out the ladder and found out where to use it. After I put it in place, it breaks. Oh, just my luck. This kind of things happened a lot in the game and it wasn't amusing for me since I just had to walk around in circles always trying to get things fixed.
-The storyline, in my opinion, was a mess and badly explored. The premise is that you have to track down in Central America someone who has gone missing and fight an evil curse, right? Well, most of the game (in the mansion) you have to go through a series of tasks in order to get the "not yet missing" person a glass of water. Okay. Then, finally, he decides to go missing and you end up tracking him in Central America. After going through some tombs and whatnot, you find him and just have to figure out a way to save him. What I'm trying to get at here is that I felt that the story was only there to fill in a blank in order for your annoying character to go through the beautiful sights of a mansion and then of wild Central America. And then the evil curse. What curse? I don't recall a curse ever being mentioned, but that's just me.
-Uninteresting and annoying characters. I didn't care for John, neither did I care for Kukulkan, he wasn't even creepy and that's a shame because this Mayan deity is really creepy according to legend. The main character was a pain for real. Her remarks were always so obvious it made me me cringe, not to mention she has an annoying voice alright.
-I didn't try the extras, I just took a look at the wallpapers and started the bonus chapter, but since I don't like déjà vu (not the mansion again...). I also saw that I had to find the balls to play the basement door puzzle. Again. So I exited and unistalled the game.
I'm going to move on from this "Case of Shadows" since that's exactly what the main focus of the game, the story, is. A shadow. Never developed and just there to fill a hole and that hole isn't even appropriately filled.
For the pro player, try the game and perhaps you will like it, since the puzzles are a real challenge.
I recommend this game!

This second "Adelantado", although it showed great improvements, still made me tired of practically always doing the same.
Pros:
- You now have rewards! Great!;
- Great graphics improvements, you can clearly see it and they look better than ever;
- More level related variety. In some levels you don't have to set up camp, but go through a series of characters quests in order to advance. You also have more variety in the normals levels, you have more tombs and burial chambers to visit and they are larger;
- You can now exit the game and your level progress is saved! Hurray!;
- Beautiful artwork and cutscenes, without a doubt;
Cons:
- Still the same music! Since its always the same, I always end up turning off the sound because it annoys me;
- The gameplay is still the same and so, the game becomes tiring after a while;
- I noticed that now the efficiency of the buildings drops much more quickly than in the first game and although you can now restore it, it costs too much and then it drops down quickly again;
Although it has been improved, it still practically feels the same to me and the gameplay becomes tiring as you advance through the levels. By the end, I'm sick of doing the same things over again and never accomplishing nothing at all. However, I still liked it and when "Book Three" comes out I'll definitely try it.
I recommend this game!

Oh. My. God. This game is an incredible casual gaming gem.
If I could give it ten stars I would. I just completely loved it. "Pilgrim's Hook" has incredible high production and you can clearly see and feel it. The storyline is the best I've ever witnessed in these types of games and the most original, not to mention the most creepy of villains. Castor himself. The end of the game brought tears to my eyes, really. I loved every single character.
Only Pros: Where to start?
- Beautiful, incredibly detailed graphics. The locations are a pleasure to watch and to be in them. I always took some time to take in the sights that Pilgrim's Hook had to offer;
- Very profound and memorable characters. I don't know which one was my favorite since I loved them all;
- Incredible aura of mystery. I loved exploring every single place in town and playing every single HOS. That's definitely something!;
- The storyline is amazing. Play the game and see for yourself since I don't want to ruin anyone from truly immersing themselves in this seaside town;
- The music is amazing and genuinely creepy;
- The ambient in this game is amazing. You can feel the opression of the secrets the town holds;
- The extras are definitely worth it. I loved reading Arthur's diary to find out more about him and the town, loved to explore the island once again to find the whale's bones and to play the bonus chapter therefore learning in first person how Cedric became a pawn in the "tentacles" of Castor;
I don't know what else to say or mention. I can't tell you enough how I absolutely loved to play this gem. This game is the most complete casual game I've ever played and now it definitely holds a special place in my memory.
A beautiful, sinister, and touching game.
Go to Pilgrim's Hook and find out for yourself.
I recommend this game!

Before playing "Angelic Night", I had played the beta to "Kiss of Death", and, since I liked the beta, I was expecting the first of the series to be great. Unfortunately, it wasn't, for me. Most people will love it, I'm sure of it, but for me this was an uninteresting and boring game, despite the high-production value.
Cons:
- Way too many hidden objects scenes. I just hate this because it completely undermines my gaming experience. It makes playing the game a total pain and bore;
- Confusing storyline. I got most of it, but the way the story was told and unfolded made it confusing to now how it all really came to an hospital full of sinful demons. Not to mention that you never end up actually knowing what your character was doing there. Apparently, he was just a vessel to carry out the act until the end;
- The backtracking in this game is impossible! You have the map to tell you where you are and where you need to go, but you can't jump from one spot to the other, and the locations sometimes were miles away from each other! Another way to ruin the game for me;
Pros:
- Great mysterious music;
- Nice graphics, as always;
- The locations are very beautiful, especially the garden where you find out how to summon a succubus;
- Beautiful concept art!
- The ending cutscene was really beautiful;
I'm not going to say if the Collector's Edition is worth it or not, because I didn't play the bonus chapter. I hit play, saw the cutscene, then I saw that there was a HO scene waiting for me already. Jesus, no. No more looking for objects, please! So I gave up.
I was expecting to love this game, what with all the great reviews and the screenshots, but I didn't.
The story is very thin and is confusingly told, a mess, really.
All the backtracking and the hidden objects totally detract from enjoying the game and so, this one wasn't good for me at all. I'll still recomend it, though, since I'm positively sure that most people will love it. Give "Angelic Night" a try and see for yourself.
I recommend this game!

This one just became one of my favorites!
Despite its outdated visuals, "Rita James and the Race to Shangri La" is a memorable and amazing game.
- Despite that in some scenes the graphics would really seem old, the interior of certain buildings such as the hotel and the restaurant were beautiful, not to mention the exterior, especially in the village! The snow falling was just a beauty!;
- The music was beautiful and very oriental, amazing, really, one of the best soundtracks that I ever had the pleasure to listen to in a casual game;
- Amazing voice-overs!
- Very funny and memorable characters, as well as lines, such as "How I Lost My Marbles"!;
- Though looking for objects in the locations sometimes was difficult, I started enjoying it more and more as the game advanced;
- The storyline was great, and I couldn't wait to set my... er... Rita's foot in Shangri La, at last!;
I don't know what else to say, really. This game had no flaws for me, except that it ended, unfortunately! I only wish they make a sequel or another game with Rita.
The trip I made to Shangri La was an amazing one and I only wish it didn't had to end. I just loved this game, but I realize that most people probably won't, so what you have to do is try and I sincerely hope you'll love it as much as I did!
I recommend this game!

"Life Quest" was a different and cute game for me, but it got tiring easily. Always doing the same things or doing different things that always felt the same.
- This game had very cartoonish artwork and so I just loved it!
- The housing (low-end, high-end) artwork was beautiful and comfy!
- The music was nice, fitting and didn't intrude at all.
- You had a very large variety of stores that you could visit and each provided very good looking locations.
- I actually liked taking my character to various classes in order to increase her stats and get a better job!
Some puzzles or mini-games (for example) here or there would have made a lot of difference and it would have made the game fun.
Despite the reason that I liked this game, I barely had fun with it. You always end up doing the same things all over again (eating, going to your job, shopping and so on), and although they sound and look different, they all feel the same probably because all you do in this game is spending time and spending money.
I don't know what else to say. "Life Quest" is very good looking but also very flat. Nothing I ever did with my character provided any fun whatsoever. I will give it 4 stars, however, because I know that later on my "gaming journey" I will end up playing it again for how different and "comfy" it is.
If you're looking for something different to play, try it, maybe you'll have more fun than I did.
I recommend this game!

This first entry in the "Adelantado" series was a great one, however, it had a huge downfall for me which made the game tiring at times.
Pros:
- Very different story and setting, barely ever used in a game, and a great one!;
- Nice, different music (it's always the same one that plays);
- Beautiful artwork of the "cutscenes" and the characters;
- Easy interface. You can learn the ropes easily and can become good at the game in no time;
- The "relax mode" is definitely great for me, and you can play at your very own pace;
- Great enviromnent;
- It was fun (in the beginning, at least) looking for the secrets, and they are quite easy to find;
Cons:
- The great downfall, as I have mentioned above, is that you can't save in-levels. When a certain level was too big this became quite annoying for me because if I left the game I would have to start the level again, and so I had to play a level, sometimes, for about an hour and half or so. By the second chapter, this became constant, thus making the game a bother to play;
- Although the song that is always playing is nice, I wish that it wasn't always the same everytime... This game needed more musical variety;
- Some variety in the levels every once in a while wouldn't have hurt, too. You always end up doing the same thing everytime you start a level: set up camp, look for survivors, save up gold, send gold, pick up key part. This also made the game a bit tiring, overall;
In resume, "Adelantado Trilogy: Book One" is a nice game. The whole "Age of Discovery" storyline, setting and characters quite made up for how tired I would become while playing it, but these problems can definitely still be bothersome. Not being able to save in-levels made it a very time-consuming game and that took away some its charm.
And "Adelantado" is definitely a charming game.
I recommend this game!

This game was a great joy to play!
It offers great presentation, memorable characters, beautiful artwork, good gameplay, great extra content and tons of replay value!
Pros:
- Nice, cute and polished graphics;
- Beautiful artwork, from the presentation, to the towns, to the characters and to the intro cutscene;
- Great voice-overs in the intro scene! The voice actors did an amazing job;
- Memorable and funny characters. Cedric was very amusing (especially with his Jerboasaurus fear), I liked Tippy and the Dovecote owner too;
- Smooth gameplay, which is more than great in a time-management game, and it also made it easier to get gold in all the levels;
- The tips that appeared when loading a level were very helpful and it was a nice addition;
- Great replay value, really! You could try to get gold in previous levels, increase your rank, win the achievements, play the bonus challenges and so on... Just great!;
- Solid Collector's Edition content. It was nice reading about the development of the game, and the wallpapers and the music were nice, too;
- The music wasn't annoying, and the track I liked most was the one that played in the Arctic levels;
- Nice sound effects, pleasant to my ears;
- Towns with varied scenery all throughout;
- A very addictive and time-consuming game, which was a good thing since this "Royal Envoy 2" is an amazing game!;
Cons:
- I wish it had a "relaxed mode" option, so that I could play it not so rushedly;
Overall, "Royal Envoy 2" is the best time-management game I have ever played and although I never played much of these types of games, this one I know it's a fabulous one!
Thanks to this game, I'll look for more time-management games in the future and definitely for more "Royal Envoy"!
I recommend this game!

This was a fun game, but at times I got a bit tired of playing the hidden objects scenes... I played the Collector's Edition, but since it's not at BigFish, I'll review the regular version anyway.
Pros:
- I looove Austin! He's so funny! He's probably my favorite thing in the game;
- The music is beautiful, polished and relaxing which is just great for a game where you have to look for objects;
- The graphics are cute and pleasant to look at, such as the interiors artwork and the characters artwork, too;
- Decorating the hall was really fun and I felt really accomplished when I finished it!;
- This is a cozy and cute game to play when you ain't got nothing more to do, and sometimes it can be quite addictive!;
- You have two modes to play: timed and relaxed which I always love in a time-management game! Go figure...;
- It's really great to interact with Austin, the furniture and the animals! You gotta love when he starts stressing out with the preparations or when he uses the phone (not to forget when he uses the umbrella to protect himself from the fountain water)!;
Cons:
- By the end of the game, when the furniture you buy starts getting uber expensive, I didn't wanted to save too much money in order not to make Austin sad (he always gets excited to buy new stuff), but I had to sell a lot, and I mean a looot, to get enough money, and it started to tire me to look for all those objects...;
- The greatest fault of this game, in my opinion. Though this is a time-management game, you don't do anything else besides looking for hidden objects;
Overall, this "Gardenscapes" wouldn't be fun if it wasn't for Austin and his predicaments. The hidden objects scenes are the only thing you have to do in this game, and luckily, choosing the hall décor also helps, otherwise, there's not much to do here.
I recommend this game!

This game was really beautiful and totally worth the lots of 5 stars reviews!
Not only beautiful but also fun and entertaining. I found myself really enjoying the puzzles even though sometimes I couldn't get it done right.
Here go the pros:
- Beautiful, beautiful graphics and artwork! All the statues were a delight to look at, especially the titan Chronos (truly terrifying!);
- All the characters were interesting and had amazing voice-overs. I really liked Rupert and the gnomes!;
- Very beautiful and interesting storyline, a bit different from what I'm used to;
- The hidden objects scenes weren't too much and were delightful to play;
- The music was really beautiful, too. The track that played when you cross the bridge into the town of Martlet was just amazing and really conforting;
- The snow effects were done beautifully and were a pleasure to look at;
- The scenery of the achievements (the angel with the rings) was phenomenal and truly original. The rings were well designed too and the statuettes were just top notch, a favorite, really (I only missed one)!
I have no cons against this game.
Only top notch production here and a lasting game.
The Collector's Edition was totally worth the price for the time you will spend in Martlet will be an absolutely pleasing one!
I only wish I'd played it during Christmas time... ;)
I recommend this game!
