At first, I thought I was going to like this game a lot, the art is great, it has a speelunx/steampunk feel to it, but I got bored fast and it did no hold my attention. The HO's are good, the puzzles I thought were cryptic and I had to refer to the guide to understand what was expected...It is a very artful game but it goes on and on with no real meaning, after a while I did not know what the purpose was exactly for all that back and forth...
Still hoping for a Thriller scary game which does not seem to be coming....

I cannot say enough about this game. Creepy with great music, NO enchanted overdrawing from the 18 th century ! What a relief ! Lots of nasty demons, great graphics, tons of new HO's and puzzles ( a bit easy ) but fun, room after room after room of things to do...Great map, great art, and again a very haunting music and nasty feeling !!
I will play it again until I find all the hidden objects and morphing Ho's ! This was fun and half price, can't go wrong with that one !

At last a creepy game ! A real one ! Some Ravenhurst , some Penumbria Motel, some maze 360 in there, a really well thought trough game !
The color palette is really dark, lots of psychological fear, characters are good. The HO's are very good, the puzzles interesting and different and we have morphing.... All in all a very pleasant creepy experience.....I will play it again...

OK, not creepy enough for me,and we played this game many times already. Now I expected more from a fear for sale. They did a good job but went completely wrong on the colors choices!
The entire thing is violet and blue with a yellow glow.....Now if you want to do a creepy game, switch the palette to pale yellows and grays and kakis, brown! Go for a fall color palette. A little girl was kidnapped, the mom died, don't give me blues and purple, go for death colors, grays and pale yellows and black and kaki green....It would have turned the game on its head for me !
Anyway, puzzles are a bit easy, good HO's, they tried new ways...It's a good game, but it could have been a great game !

I just bought this game now because I was looking for something creepy,and it was mentioned in the forum, this is not a real creepy game, but yes it does have a sense of dread due to the excellent graphics and music. This is a work of art, the HO's are very challenging which is great, nothing easy here. Well drawn, but not over drawn in an enchanted way as we only see these days in the HO games.This game addresses your brain all the way and your eyes. I wish the new games were just as good as this one.It is old fashion in the way you travel from places to places, but the graphics are soooo good ! I will play it again, I want a better score.
I recommend this game!
Golems are taking over Glanville, and only you can stop them!

Maybe I was not playing the sam game as the 5 stars reviewers,
I could not finished the demo ! The same enchanted golden spirit, as usual, nothing new, could not have cared less....
What can I say, could you please cook up something new and fun and modern, are we doomed to play the same game, over and over again as in 'Groundhog day " !!

This was not the image I wanted in my head while playing the game....I respected a lot the Mystery Tracker franchise, but this is now all wrong. Running trough a theater, after a guy carrying a demoiselle in distress, is far from the original spirit of "the void" and the rest of the Trackers...Again overdrawn,an enchanted sense about the entire thing....Not at all creepy !
The games are easy, very few HO, nothing special there....It is OK, but get it on sale ! We have been there done that, too many times lately, when will we get a modern creepy funny game ?

Like many here, I have all the other Puppetshow , and the franchise is done ! I thought maybe the steampunk aspect of it would save the day....Unfortunately those are enchanted robots from the owerdrawn enchanted world.....No true steampunk here.My bad, even half off it was not worth the money.

It is hard to play this very low tech game, pointers are not good, hard to move around, one can pull one's hair out !!!!
BUT , it is creepy and weird, the music is creepy too, it is empty, the graphics are stark, sad, it is a vacuum...A nice change from
the " enchanted " graphics and witches and queens and kings and dark smoke that are commun these days.....So yes a real pain to play but the feeling is good ! Reminded me of " lost in the city " same spirit.....

Not my favorite story line, but the game was fun and engaging and I gladly stayed with it. I like the puzzles, they were challenging and the HO's were good. Great graphic, very clean, lots of things to do. I paid full price and I did not mind at all.
It is rare these days to stay engaged and to want to finish the game. I enjoyed the observers and the gifts. A smart game !
