Ok, so I bought the CE, maybe not the best for me, could have saved for another SE game. This game was all adventure, yes, you did have to find hidden objects via puzzle completion.
There were no "groups" of hidden objects to find. Perhaps, I just thought there would be "groups" of items. WELL, having said all that, I still enjoyed the game. Spooky, good story, terrific graphics, these devs were good! Puzzles were somewhat hard, I had to skip a lot of them, due to lack of patience to finish them. Lots of traveling back and forth. This story had a "You are there" feel, which is great for me.
Try it yourself, lots of scenes to look at, and music is appropriate, and real characters. Oh, don't forget your room key!
I recommend this game!

I was not overwhelmed by this game. I did enjoy all of its parts, ghosts, mystery, and intrigue. Ho's were very well done some tiny items to find, glasses wearers take note, storyline was well developed. Real characters, lots of talking.
Not so much searching for "items" to do tasks. Difficult to remember where this item went to do this task, though. Music was ok, a bit jarring at times, someone please start that car! Puzzles were different, and difficult. Beautiful scenes, and interesting concept, great idea from the developers. Another keeper BF.
I recommend this game!

I bought the CE and glad I did! Your mission is to complete several tasks. I won't say what but you will have the most fun getting there! Hints refill fast, map is wonderful, journal helps a lot. Graphics top notch, real person characters, music was so good, sometimes the music alone made me want to move faster. Nice long play time. Puzzles were hard/moderate for me, used the skip puzzle button. HO's were easy enough, some items need help to complete. The location scenes were superb in their portrayal of that time and place. Some places I visited I truly just hung around and looked at the scene..some even remind me of museums I have visited.
Buy the ticket and popcorn and enjoy this game!!!
Great job BF!

Great game! Interesting and challenging. You are Kate, help her find the items needed to bring down.....well enough said.
Beyond objects included in this terrific game. I was not able to locate all of the "beyond" objects but hey, maybe next time I play this game, I became so engrossed in the mission I forgot to look for the "beyond objects"! Excellent craftsmanship on scenes and audio. One puzzle I did find a bit dark, had to use the skip button. Wonderfully done game BF!! Nice long play time for me. Lovely scenes and places to travel. Go get it !

Fantastic game. Lasts a long time, traveling throughout the game I found one scene after another very beautifully done.
HO's moderate to hard to find tiny items, but ok in my book.
Storyline was excellent and characters were likeable. Puzzles were somewhat hard, and some tedious "looking" for pieces to collect for completion of tasks. Journal holds it all. You save a friend from a curse, and free many others in the process. Very good game in my collection to be played again.
I recommend this game!

What a way to end the series of Joyville! In keeping with the other Joyville stories/games true to fashion it was superb.
Beautifully done characters, and scenes. HO's were moderate to difficult but I loved each one.
I sure hope we can expect another series of games such as this one in the future.
I recommend this game!

Eye catching graphics, beautiful music, captivating story line.
What more can I say! Romance, intrigue, mystery, and happy ending, for me it was superb. Nice long play time, puzzles were hard, I play in casual mode! Objects easy to find, silhouettes were tricky, journal helpful, and hints recharge quickly. I would have played longer if the storyline had not ended...love to play the longer games....Good job BFG!
Not to dark, dreary, rainy, or spooky. Just good fantasy fun!
I recommend this game!

I played this game with hopes of a great game, it missed the mark somewhat. I was not disappointed, however, not thrilled with the game either.
You get a map, journal which both helps. Puzzles were unique.
Loved the graphics, beautifully done rooms and grounds.
Music was good and befitting the game.
A classic who done it.... I won't give away any details
HO's were not so easy, which is a plus, I enjoyed the scenes while searching for the objects. You have to find the missing art collection pieces while playing the game as well.
If you love mystery this is your game.
Try the demo first if unsure!!!
I will play this game again.
I recommend this game!
