The graphics were colorful and beautiful, but not crisp and clear so items were hard to find and some quite tiny. I guess I'm the only one that was EXTREMELY annoyed by the dialogue...it was monotone and what should have been amusing and interesting was just painful....after 10 minutes I shut off the voices....couldn't stand it anymore. The talking was obviously read....not good actors at all, I know, I have a few thespians in my family that are VERY TALENTED. The story line was vague and basic....girl gets taken and is hunted down to be rescued, that's it, BLAH! Took forever to load each scene so the developers weren't savvy enough to program smooth transition. I've played about 2 hours and haven't completed and am struggling to finish because it's such an effort to navigate and the scenes keep overlaying when moving from one place to the next. It would suggest some sloppy programming. I wouldn't recommend this game for anyone just starting out or for those that have older systems.
I don't recommend this game.
Over and over the same nightmare is following you: your sister Anna is trapped in a strange existence, begging you to help her escape. But what if these are not just random nightmares?

Based on 2 hours play. This game brings it all to the gaming table. Really great Standard Edition game. Fun, interesting, lots of different aspects to the story. Graphics are easy on the eye but nothing to write home about. Music is nothing special. But because of the great puzzles and interactive sections and many different story aspects it really held my interest...in fact had a hard to time pausing to go to bed even though I am really tired! Nice work...will be keeping my eye out for more from this developer. Thanks BF! :)

Save the kingdom and reunite Princess Isabella with her prince in the exciting conclusion to the Princess Isabella trilogy!

Honestly had a hard time getting into this game, bought it right away because I like the previous games. However, the HOGS were boring to tears and repetitive. The graphics were lovely. Music annoying I had to turn it down and PULLEASE....the voice of the fairy is tape sped up to make her sound tiny and is EXTREMELY ANNOYING, and although I was horrified by her sudden disposal, wasn't sorry to "hear" her go. The story was sketchy and the one fight scene (before the final) was totally confusing and weird. The whole thing felt sloppy and not well put together. I'm afraid after the last CE (my new favorite below) every game will seem below standard and boring. Will be much more careful in the future around CE purchases. Overall Bleh! Really just OK. I recommend but not at CE price!
I don't recommend this game.
The lighthouse fails and darkness invades Willow Ridge. Your husband runs into the forest for answers, unaware of the shadow hunting him.

Incredibly amazing wonderful game!! There is nothing to compare it to, it is a mixture of different HOG themes and several new and never seen before (at least not by me - in my almost 3 years of continuous play) methods of game play! FANTASTIC! Graphics are colorful, crisp and clear, story is unprecedented in theme. Puzzles and HOGS are fresh and new and of course at points repetitive but then they pick it up again at the end....I haven't finished this game and in fact am in the last chapter, and have been playing now 5 1/2 hours and that's before the bonus section AND I've skipped quite a few puzzles as I couldn't figure them out. NO GLITCHES!! woot, woot!! and Finally a game that is LONG ENOUGH TO SATISFY CE standards!!!!! I would give a 10 star rating if I could! I cannot GUSH enough about this game...I will be keeping my eye on these developers in the future...they have OUTDONE the competition!! BRAVO!!

Loved this game and was torn throughout playing as the graphics were pristine and yet the coins were at times very difficult to find because they were so small. The story ending is given away at the beginning, was very disappointed in that. But a good story none the less....I ADORE anything pirate, seas, treasure, creepiness....I'm ALWAYS sold on that story line....never gets old for me. However, it was ridiculously short for a CE hence my being torn. The graphics were so clear and precise that it really made it hard to decide, but in the end it's length that is value for me.....wish the developers did not have to choose between the 2 for a great game. The puzzles were just right and I played the casual version as I don't want it to end too quickly anymore. I waited for a sale which is now becoming standard for me because all CE's have now become so short in length they are not worth the price.....the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. I do recommend this game, just not at the CE price.

because this is a great game! It's fun, it's historical, whether it's accurate or not means absolutely nothing, it's entertaining and based only on the trial version I'm buying. I cannot for the life me understand the poor reviews. Seems some reviewers took the game personally, which I think rather strange since it in no way as I can see shows disrespect for JFK. The graphics are clear, it's challenging but the hint button is awesome at revealing the next step. Really glad I read further positive reviews and did not let the erroneous ones dictate my choice in trying out the game.
I recommend this game!
There's a dark force at work in Pilgrim's Hook. Return to your childhood home and save your twin brother from the evil that lives beneath the sea.

Can't add anymore good to this than 5 stars! As of today my favorite game and I haven't even finished! The graphics are clear and interesting...I stop just to take in the view in each scene. HO's are fairly easy, but then I'm not into challenge, my gig is entertainment and this has that in spades! Anything ocean/sea/ships/small fishing villages of course is a win for me. Can't gush enough about his game....so pleased with every aspect!
I recommend this game!

Yayyyyy!! My favourite type of graphics and the story line is unique and fabulous....have not even played the whole "free" portion and know this is a DEFINITE buy for me! Now I just have to wait for the money. lol So excited by this game, let's hope the rest is as amazing as the first 1/2 hour. No glitches...whatsoever! okay, that's quite enough gushing.

I quote every other great and positive remarks about the game and would have given it a 5 stars....EXCEPT for the "be continued" at the end. I would really like clarification on whether there is another installment or if this is a Collectors Edition that BF didn't think would qualify under that and cut off the extended portion? Either way I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO BE INFORMED before I purchase a game that it is a series game!! I prefer to wait for all the installments before I buy a game because I DON'T LIKE ANYTHING unfinnished!

Usually not my type of game, butI would have bought this just for the funny stuff that went on....unusual story!!! The graphics are a little hard on the eyes....not sure why.....took some time to learn how to navigate and the dog hint was really a pain, but overall worth the entertainment alone!! :)
