If you are in the mood for an easy, mindless casual game with a bunch of hidden object scenes, then you will may enjoy this game. Overall it was an alright game for me, definitely on the easy side with lot's of hidden object scenes for those who love them. In general, I tolerate them.
There were only about 15 scenes/locations/rooms throughout the entire game and during each part you were only able to go to a few of them until you completed your objectives. So for those who get overwhelmed in trying to figure out all of the objectives over a vast number of locations, this is definitely an easier game. The adventure part consisted of finding a few items in adjoining rooms or areas for the particular objective(s# and you were limited to being able to walk around anywhere/everywhere after you've discovered and explored an area. I played this game both on casual and expert mode.
On the positives: Simple storyline, easy adventure, a little humour mixed with description of items when clicking on them, some good detailed graphics, two different possible endings to the game, interesting and relatively easy puzzle games, and lot's of HOS #for those who enjoy them).
On the areas of improvement: Music was ok, but some of the random sound effects like foot steps and clanging was a bit annoying and out of place at times. It was more of a distraction than helping to create a spooky mood environment. There were interactive character dialogue whereby you had to select the questions or dialogue with the characters that to me were unrealistic. Example - "I'm going to get you ghost" or something like that, and in that situation, I would never say or react like that. So it would have been better to do it in third person than have it directed by me. I personally get annoyed when in HOS, the clicker is sensitive and in this game, it's after 3 wrong clicks. I've never understood that and it's a bit more frustrating to me when there are spelling errors or unclear graphics and you don't know what it is that they are asking. In expert mode a "syringe" was labeled "surgine" and I was trying to figure out what a "surgine" could possibly be. Go figure.
Overall, it was ok. Nothing to rave about, but also quick and somewhat fun and interesting to play. I would definitely recommend demo'ing this game prior to purchase or getting it on sale. I would recommend this game to younger gamers, HOS fans and beginners looking for a casual and easy adventure game.

From the gorgeous and detailed graphics to the creepy, eerie music and great storyline, this game offers a great adventure to those who enjoy hidden object scenes (HOS) and mini-puzzles in a ghostly environment.
The HOS are relatively easy without the annoying limits of clicking, the hints rapidly charge to help you throughout the game and the puzzles are easy to moderate and definitely unique and creative from your normal adventure HOS game.
There are many elements to solve and objects to pick up from various locations and you have to stay a little more focused in remembering all of the things you have and need to do. It definitely is challenging enough to keep you interested and draw you in to play and solve the game.
There are many places to go and much to accomplish and you usually will have to visit a place several times to complete all of the things you need to do, so it helps you with getting familiar with your surroundings and a great reminder of what you've accomplished and what else needs to get completed.
The length of the game is longer than average, which helps you feel like you are getting your money's worth and overall was designed and made with great quality and has a great grande finale. The reason why I only rate this game 4 stars is because I tolerate HOS to get through these type of adventure games (I love puzzles# and there are a number of HOS particularly at the end of the game and the 4 stars are more for just my own personal rating. Like versus Love. If you enjoy and love HOS, then you definitely will love this game. I definitely recommend to play #even if you don't love HOS)!

Every once in awhile I come across a game that I find hard to put down, sad when it comes to an end and excited to play all over again. The different games and interactivity within the different levels are incredibly fun to play. The background music and the sounds that the airplanes make are adorable. The thought of a game of landing and fixing airplanes doesn't seem too exciting to me, but this game with all of the other challenges it throws in, as well as all of the different locations of the airports (including on the moon) makes it really fun and interesting to play. The graphics are good. I hadn't played the first one, but now will have to. Can't wait!

From the travel agency to the vacation itself, this game takes you on an adventure and provides you with many different time management games, from helping travelers pick and book their vacations to serving up food or helping them soak up the sun on their vacation. This game is cute, fun, and highly addictive. The graphics are fairly crisp and detailed and the music is upbeat with a club flair. There are different levels with which you can play, from casual to expert or you could just play "Time Attack" whereby you play endlessly until you lose 3 customers. The mini-games are great and the goal is to continue to build your travel agency to five stars with upgrades you can purchase from your earnings. There is much variety with this game and it's fun and interesting to play. I definitely stand behind the 5 stars I give this game. It's definitely a great buy!

Hmmm...there was definitely a lot of positives about the game, such as the graphics, music, most of the voice overs and the puzzles. The HOS's were good, probably a little too many for my liking, particularly when you do the same scene 2 or 3 times, but I did like the interactive elements in trying to find some of the items. I did enjoy the number of various scenes and places the game took you. The storyline was average and your typical who dunnit murder mystery.
As I had mentioned, most of the voice overs were good, but one key character's voice over was a bit cheesy and didn't make quite the spooky impression it should have. This is probably a little nit picky, but the abrupt and uneventful ending was almost unforgivable. Why put in so much time, effort and quality, only to end it with a quick mini-game? Where was the cresendo and grand finale? Oh well, I did enjoy the game, but believe that the other Fear for Sale - Mystery of McInroy Manor game was better. I'd still recommend it though as it was a fairly good game.

This was one of my first games that I ever played on BFG and got me hooked to BFG. I ended up playing this game 3 times in trying out different strategies with building different structures in different locations trying to maximize earnings while making sure all of the objectives are met. The storyline is cute and as a female player, it was great seeing all of these hunky islanders answering to the Coconut Queen's beck and call to build and take care of the island (even wrestle sharks!). How hot is that! I also enjoyed the storyline of starting in the island resort business and the cute humorous references to Fantasy Island. The graphics and music are just okay in my opinion, but I'm also comparing to games that I've played that hav incredible 3-D graphics and actual bands who do the music. Overall the game's a keeper and will probably be played again sometime later. Enjoy!

The way this game ended left you hungering for more. This was one of the most interestingly different game I've ever played, from the sexy, sassy vampire and funky rock music with little bits of humor mixed throughout, particularly when you didn't do something right. The graphics, music, sound and storyline are all incredible. This is a true adventure game with little mixes of mini-games and HOS throughout. The only drawback of this game was that it was a bit too short and left you wanting to play the next one, but it has been a awhile since the first game was released. For me, the sequel is one of the most anticipated game I've ever wanted to play after a game like this. Can't wait!

This game has truly been one of the more challenging games I've played in awhile, with many different puzzles, mini-games and some HOS intermixed in-between. I needed help from the blog walk thru's a few times on some of the more challenging mini-games. I don't like games that are mostly comprised of HOS and this had the right amount mixed throughout the game. The graphics, music and voice overs were very well done and there was a few times that I was scared, because I wasn't expecting things to jump out at you. The game length was good and not too short. Overall a great quality game for the money.
For me, there's not a worse nightmare than to be caught in an insane asylum and accused of being insane. It definitely has the creepy feel and great story and puzzles throughout. I tolerate hidden object games, but when there are adventure games that don't have them throughout, I am in HEAVEN. I just don't have the patience and it's just not that fun for me, but I will play especially if it's a good game with graphics and storyline. So when I can find a really good game without HO scenes, I enjoy them even more. I personally liked the easy navagational controls. It's easy to understand (eye-see, foot prints-walk, and hand to grab or take things). Overall, a good game play and worth the buy.
I loved the opening and the concepts of vampires versus zombies seem great, as one of my all time favorite games is P vs Z (not sure if I can mention that game here), but this game is more similar to Zouda farmer or the Farm Frenzy series. After the second level and unable to get gold because the vampire moves and makes pumpkins too slowly I couldn't play it anymore as it seemed too impossible to accomplish and if this was only the second level, the rest of the game would be too frustrating for me to enjoy. I think the only thing they could change is increasing the time if the characters didn't make things as quickly, but if this wasn't figured out early on by the game developers through testing then the rest of the game was only going to get worse as the levels become more challenging. The characters are really cute and the graphics and music went well with the overall theme, but with all of the great games out there, I couldn't get myself to buy this one. Sorry. )=
