Although I have the other games in the series, I was never particularly pleased with them. I found them lacking in that certain something that would hold my interest. I wasn't even going to try this one, but the good review persuaded me, and I'm glad I did. The story really drew me in this time, I am interested in the characters which is a major plus. The music is inobtrusive, but appropriate, graphics good, and although I've only played for about 1/2 an hour, I am purchasing, and look forward to playing the entire game and bonus. This looks like a great improvement over the previous games in the series.
Wonderful to find the latest game in this series. I have all of them, and love all but one (early on). Yes, they are the same things each game, but there are also differences, and looks like the in between puzzles have been updated. I like the colors, inobtrusive music, and I enjoy finding the anchors. I'm off to make my purchase!
Yes! More animals to find. This is a nice, relaxing game, with cute animals and no spiders in this one. I'm happy, even though I can already tell, I'm not going to find everything the first time through. Sometimes it takes me three games to do that, but I enjoy every minute, and I love the butterflies as well. Very happy that there's another one in the series.
After playing the demo a bit, I'm hooked and want to solve the mysteries. I always appreciate the 4 levels of play, because I like "custom" the best. Goals were obvious. Graphics good. Sounds inobtrusive as they should be. The HO scenes are challenging, but not too difficult. And I like the morphing objects and finding the records. Therefore, I choose to ignore that this developer refuses to change the Match 3 option, but is keeping the same old (and by now, VERY boring objects), and purchase the game. I expect to have fun playing it.
I've been waiting for this release since playing the beta version. Was so happy to see it this morning. Controls are easy, as usual, goals are clear, characters are drawn well, music is not intrusive, and the storyline is very interesting. I will enjoy playing the game, and from what I played during the beta, would certainly recommend it. That said...if I don't get Rick Rogers back in the next one, this will probably be my last Paranormal Files purchase. I started because of him, and continue playing hoping for another glimpse. On to play!
I love these Little Lion games, and this is just as enjoyable as the previous ones. I have not been successful finding all the morphing objects, which is frustrating - but that also makes it more of a challenge. I love the scenery, and the quirkiness of finding random dinosaurs all over the world. I need the magnifier, but that's not a complaint. I do recommend this for a relaxing, enjoyable game.
I love I Love Finding games, and was thrilled to find a new one this morning. It appears to be slightly more difficult than the others - perhaps I just need to get used to looking for birds - and I found the color squares in the puzzle game a bit hard to differentiate, but that's a minor quibble. I am most certainly adding this to my I Love Finding game list!
I have all the Christmas Stories games; some are better than others. None, in my opinion, compare to the first two. But, neither are they disappointing, on the whole. This had a nice story line with interesting characters, nice art work, inobtrusive background music, and mostly good puzzles (two would not work for me for whatever reason). But frankly, I found the bonus game much more fun than the main game, and I look forward to playing it again next year (as I replay the games every December). It's fun, relaxing, and worthwhile.
When the new Christmas Wonderland is released - and then after I play it, I go back and play all the previous games, until Christmas. I love seeing Santa once again, and Mrs. Claus' kitchen has been expanded! Good for her - it was entirely too small before. I love the addition of finding the snowman, along with the angels and "lost and found" items, and decorating the house instead of just purchases on the shelf. I may be snowed in today, but I have a new Wonderland in which to play! I do recommend this game for those who love old fashioned HOs with little puzzles in between.
I was pleased to see a new Reflections of Life and was not disappointed, playing the demo. As usual, the graphics are lovely, the music and background sounds suitable and not intrusive, and everything works as it is supposed to from HOs to puzzles. It is a pleasant game, considering we have to defeat the Nilds. I'm going to enjoy this one!
