So much hype for a MCF game. Weeks of advertising about the game only to be disappointed !! This is not a MCF game. It's just a standard game. Cookie cutter material. I went back and played MCF Fates carnival and that " IS" a MCF game. So much going on. The intricacies of the hidden object scenes are wonderful. The puzzles are beyond others and get you to think out of the box. I agree with Haiqalo1 this is NOT a MCF game. Developers should give more thought before putting the name of MCF on their games if they can't rise to the occasion.
I have the Dreamland Solitaire and I loved it! It's my go to when I just want to relax and zone out. This game however, is not relaxing but frustrating. Once you get a little further into it you have to play each hand multiple times and that is more then two or three times! You get 21 cards and the board has probably 50 or more cards to get rid of with all kinds of obstacles to overcome. It's fun, but I just would like it to be a little more doable. I have been playing for hours and am not half way through, so I guess you get your moneys worth if you don't mind getting aggravated with not being able to move on. That being said, I'm heading back for more aggravation.
Well, I wanted to like this but was sadly let down. I could hardly wait for it to end. I'm not fond of back and forth and there is plenty of that. Started out well but fell flat on it's face. I was surprised that it got such high reviews. Judge for yourself.
This is about the fourth time I have run into this. New title, but it's an old game. I started to play and realized I had played this before. Very disappointing.
This is one of the best games ever. This is an older game that keeps you wanting more. I hated to see it end. That is rare, usually by the end of a story I get bored and just want it to end. Not this one. There is no map so you need to pay attention. Give it go, you won't be disappointed.
This is a perfect example of what is good for one, is not always good for another. I found this game ANNOYING. Also, what was the point of the journal? Shows you everything you just saw but no story. What a waste. Yes, there are things to find but I just didn't get this one at all. And the constant ding, ding, ding after every item you find. I hate going back and forth and this one has lots of that. I just got too annoyed and couldn't finish the demo. Try it for yourself, maybe it's just me, but it's not a five star. I think we are all just getting desperate to find a high quality game and this isn't it.
There was a lot of thought put into this one. I didn't like all of the puzzles, some were good, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the rest of the game. I would recommend getting the collectors edition as there are many things to do. Morphing figurines, papers and coins that you can purchase items with. Music wasn't always the same song, sound effects were good and you really need to click on things in the surroundings because lots of interaction. I found the HOP very fun, especially the carousel in the park was killer. whoever wrote the clues has a sense of humor, or so I thought. Like I always say, judge for yourself. I was going to pass on this because of some of the bad reviews, glad I tried it for myself. I think it gets better as it goes along. Hopefully, you will enjoy it as much as I did.
I too don't understand the bad reviews. I enjoyed the hidden object parts a lot. You had to interact with them. Maybe some people don't like that, I do. I felt it was better then some of the other haunted legends. I was passing on this because of the reviews but decided to give it a chance and was glad I did. For me, it was a solid 4 stars
I was so fortunate to beta test this a few months back and was surprised to see it here so soon. I have to run and shop but I guarantee you I will be playing this all day, so much fun. As I always say, try for yourself, but at least give it a try. Don't think this is for beginners. Have fun!!
Step into the shoes of a Private investigator with short-term memory loss and uncover the shocking truth about his involvement with a serial killer called The Executioner.
Not sure why this got such great reviews. By the time I got to the extra chapter I just wanted it to end. It isn't worth getting the CE, I would wait for the standard edition. It's just OK.
