It started out ok, but after playing longer it became very monotonous.
Lets play the bats in an order. OK, lets play the bats again in an order. Oh, that's right, lets do it again.
How about opening three doors with masks, now lets shut the doors, now lets open the doors.
I tried twice today to play this and just couldn't do it.
Waste of money, for me.
If you like doing the same things over and over, then you might enjoy this game.
Different for everyone so give it a try and judge for yourself.

I could not finish the bonus chapter.
What was that suppose to be about?
This is why I don't usually buy CE, waste of money.
Something has happened to MCF and not in a good way.

This is a GREAT game, been a long time since I've said that.
I have only played the demo and am going to wait for the weekend to buy. I'll see what they are offering.
Either way, I am buying this one!!!

All these great reviews I thought this has to be a winner.
Boy was I wrong.
I thought I was going to go out of my mind playing the HOS
with that awful background piano music. Could it get anymore monotonous. Talk about elevator music!!!
I couldn't even do the second game with the matching items by the tram because of the constant, Your turn, my turn, I win, your turn. Shoot me!!
I know there are many out there that don't like to play with music, but I for one enjoy a good sound track.
When you first start the game it tells you to play with sound for a better experience, however, while displaying this message there was NO sound. Should have given me a clue.
There was hardly any sound. I was having a hard time staying awake.
Had to take a break from playing to write my not very good review.
This is what I often say, "Not every game is for everyone".
You will have to decide for yourself.
It started well, but went down hill for me.
Also, not sure if anyone else is noticing, but the games seem to be getting worse and shorter.
Lets hope someone is paying attention at Big Fish!???

I just couldn't finish it. The constant back and forth and waiting for the never ending "loading" was driving me nuts.
I like a game that has flow to it and this just didn't for me.
Also, I have never heard of a pumpkin instrument. Really?

I don't often write reviews but this was such a mess. Don't waste your time or money on this one.
If there was a storyline I missed it!
I bought this without playing the demo because I've always enjoyed MCF, but this one totally missed.
I only played it because I payed for it.
Looks like MCF is gone.

This started out OK, but as you get into it you are just going back and forth doing busy work.

I am not fond of games that just have you going back and forth and accumulating items.
I had to quit playing as I was going out of my mind with the mindless back and forth.
If you don't mind this kind of activity, then this is the game for you.

I beta tested this one the first of August and it was called virtual Reality, then again when they changed the name to Virtual Detective.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game so test it out yourself. How anyone could give this two stars is beyond me.
That is why I take reviews with a grain of salt. Not everyone likes the same thing, but this game is excellent for me!
