I love Hidden Object Games without storylines! I thought this just might be a great game to try. Alas, the scenes are dark to the point where you can't see some of the objects. The music is very repetitive. Who ever wrote the English for the HO items doesn't have a full command of the language. For example: "Decorate Bird," instead of Decorative Bird, or "Peanut," and what you're actually looking for is a bag of lots of peanuts. "Pumpkinlamp," for Pumpkin (I was looking for a small candle!) and the list keeps getting bigger. What is a "Stean?" I used a hint button and discovered it's a pot of some type.
It's just too frustrating looking at the list of objects and wondering if it's actually what you're supposed to be trying to find, or if you can even locate it in the darkly drawn graphics!
Not very fun, as I had hoped!
I don't recommend this game.

It seemed like a fun way to start a new solitaire game but...I quit and deleted it after only 10 minutes in to it. The animation is way too complicated when you click on a card (sparkles, spins, goes to the discard pile slowly, etc.). It was taking for-EVER to play through one hand. I love card games that react quickly to my clicks and save the animation for AFTER you've either won or lost a hand. Sorry. Won't be purchasing this one.
I don't recommend this game.

The concept of having a game totally dedicated to hidden object is wonderful! I'm not into the HOGs that have you traipse all over the scenes, back and forth to accomplish different tasks. I love the idea of one scene after another that's only hidden objects. That said, the quality of the graphics leave a lot of room for improvement. They're fuzzy and not sharp, so identifying an object is difficult. I like HOGs that have near photographic quality graphics. They use clever ways to blend their objects in, rather than using blurry or "fuzzy" graphics like this game does. Improve the graphic quality, and you'd have a great game for those of us who love nothing but finding the objects! Maybe think about 100% HIdden Objects 2 with vastly improved graphic quality.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a very interesting game of "golf" type solitaire. The graphics are well drawn and the music is soothing. I'm frustrated though, because you can't leave the game mid-level or you lose everything you've gained! There are ten challenges to a level. If you have 5 or more cards remaining, the evil wizard laughs at you in a very annoying cackle. It gets really old and more annoying the more levels you lose. You can replay a level to try and do better, so you wind up taking a lot of time to accomplish the total challenge. If you tire and need to take a break, leaving the level doesn't save your accomplishments and you have to start all over at level one of that challenge again! I hope the developers will fix this aspect, because other than that, it's fun and addictive!
I recommend this game!

This version of Cut the Rope is every bit as fun as the version I've had on my Android phone for the last 6 motnhs. It's challenging and makes you think! My only regret is that it only allows for one player. You can't have multiple players try their luck.

I loved the original Chronicles of Albian. It was fun, challenging, the music as soothing, the objects weren't always easy to ifnd, and the mini puzles were interesting. I noticed that this second version wasn't developed by the same company. The graphics aren't as crisp, and there is a LOT of boring conversations that take place. The scenes take 20 to 30 seconds to load and I don't have have a slow computer. All around, I am very disappointed. I'm really sorry I pruchased it. I wish the original's software company had developed this 2nd go-round.
I don't recommend this game.

I rated this game 4 out of 5 stars. It's not the usual M3 game. Right off, you have options as to how you want to play. Game Geometry lets you select the shape of the matches you make. You can choose from hexagons; hexagons and squares; or just squares. Next, you can select the type of match 3 you want to use: Groups, lets you make matches by clicking on icons that are in numbers of 3 or more. The more icons grouped together, the higher the score. Chains allows you to put your cursor over three or more icons and keep dragging the mouse to matching icons to make them explode. The longer the chain the higher the score. Swap mode is the typical M3 method most are used to. Swap an adjacent matching icon to make your groups of three to get them off the borad. The final mode is Change. it allows you to swap icons anywhere on the board.
When you've cleared a board, a special piece of a token is placed at the top of the board. You get it to the bottom to release it. When all the pieces of token are gathered, there are hidden object mini games that you play. The premise is to gather all the token pieces and put the Guardian areas around the kingdom back together. They were abandoned by the people. Evil lurks in the kingdom and with the Guardians will once more help the people of the kingdom if the people reassemble their special places.
It's a pretty tame M3 game. You can select from a timed mode, which has a very generous amount of time allotted to complete each level; or untimed, which has all the aspects of timed without the clock.
The powerups are pretty easy to understand. Some games use icons that don't really give you a clue as to their use. This game offers 4 powerups that are easy to understand, use and repower. There is a very annoying power lion in the lower left corner of each game board. When you've exploded a certain number of icons on the board, this metallic lion spits out multiple bursts that destroy random icons on the board. It's annoying, because by randomly removing icons, it sometimes spoils your ability to remove a large number on your own. I wish, if they come out with another version that they let the players choose when they need to use these explosive bursts.
Overall, it's fun and relaxing. I'm glad I purchased it!
I recommend this game!

I appreciate that it was free. I think I would have been very disappointed had I paid for this? And, what's with the "purchasing" coffee for the Old Man? Out of curiosity, I clicked on the "buy him unlimited coffee for $3.99." It actually took me to my credit card information to purchase coffee for $3.99???? Was I acutally buying coffee or this game? I didn't wait around long enough to find out. I don't think I will keep this game in my arsenal of others. It's irritating to have the "purchase coffee" box keep coming up.
I don't recommend this game.

I'm glad I got this for 1/2 price! The concept is great, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired! First, the only music that's played is in the beginning when selecting a level to play. Only the marble sounds are going when you actually play. The most basic of instructions are in the "help" area. You don't get any directions as to how to use the power ups, other than a brief message that appears before you start another level. I'm still guessing at what most of the power up do and when to use them. All the levels are timed, so it can be frustrating when all you want is relaxing play. It is a wonderful concept, but needs more development to overcome the shortcomings.
I don't recommend this game.
